Twice I have sold through Lillingtons & once I have purchased . Each time I have sold I have had a buyer extremely quickly , with a hassle free transaction . The Team especially Julie can't do enough to help . I will always recommend Lillingtons to anyone I know who is selling or buying . Keep up the great work .????
I purchased a house from a person who was using Lillingtons to sell their house and I asked them to get a damp report done which they did by damp stop. The person who I was dealing with at Lillingtons asked me if I minded getting the work completed after their cliant had moved out which I wasn't really but they Lillingtons assured me damp stop were good and would def complete the work but guess what I got the keys for my house and 7 month later the work as still not been done and have received no payment from damp stop. Anyone reading this just be careful if they say the same to you, I'm £1500 out of pocket because I trusted Lillingtons.

I have no idea what I am paying £900 pound for. It took a week for a forsale sign to go up, and 3 days for my house to go online after the photos!
They are fine with you untill you have signed your contracts, then once you are tied in with their terms /conditions and possible penalty to pay they totally leave you hanging! It took 3 days for my property to be put online after the photos were taken. (It was put on around 5.30pm so it didn't get the full days veiwing it could have)
They are terrible at keeping you up to date or even in contact! After my property has been viewed I have to ring days later for simple feed back on my property. It's a very simple task, very easy to do and also, THIS IS NOT MY JOB. They tell me everytime "it's on their to do list" (so they havnt even tried!)
I am reminding them to do their job - it would be easier doing it and dealing with it on my own. I viewed a house with tiffen and my veiwing had finished when the office was closed and they rang me by 10am the next morning for feed back for the owner. Why on earth aren't Cumberland the same!? And why I am doing there job for them or reminding them to do it! Use your money wisely and use your move or tiffen as they seem to be on the ball. If I don't get an offer or if there service doesn't get better I'll be looking through the fine print and finding a way out!!
I have been working as a property trader for over 20 years & on average we buy & sell 15-20 properties per month. For this reason I deal with a lot of agents, some of them good & some of them bad however I can honestly say Cumberlands is one of the worst agents I have dealt with. Purposefully obstructive it getting the job done. I would not recommend them to anyone.
