   We was purchasing a property advertised by SBC property. And dealt with russell, my wife left a review and was contacted by russell to remove it multiple tims, I just want to have my say on the experience.<br>Russell never came over freindly, it was always like we had to prove if we could afford it, after telling him we had a mortgage in principle and had a buyer for our house. He said that being in a chain was not a good position to be in. How many people wouldn't be in a chain on a purchase of 750k. When I initially made an offer, he just didn't get back to me, I rang up a week later and he said no, I raised the offer and again he didn't get back to me untill I rang him. Very unprofessional.<br>Then when the offer was excepted and we started paying thousands in searches, survey, valuation etc he didn't take it off the market or put sold subject to contract. When I rang him to ask if he could he was literally shouting down the phone at me. It was unbelievable.<br>Then he was ringing asking what the hold up was, I asked my solicitor and they said they are waiting for answers from the seller.<br>It was always like he thought we was time wasters and we was messing them around, when in fact it was us waiting for searches or usual conveyencing.<br>After spending 12,000 pounds, we was told that the property is unmortgageble due to some mines. When I told russell he said the sellers are equally out of pocket, well they wasn't, they spent 2k and it was there property, the property russell was selling that was unmortgageble.<br>When I told the sellers and russell they both made out like I was completely wrong and there was nothing wrong with the land.<br>I've recently spoken to an estate agent in cornwall and they said they should always advise us to undergo a mining survey at the very start, not from russel. The second I told him, it was re advertised.<br>Aggressive, irritating and very unprofessional.<br><br>You said to my wife on her review that it was an unfair representation when in fact as a customer russell is what I have wrote and is worse than my partners review indicates.<br>I had family members listen to the tone he spoke to me in and was gobsmacked! So it isn't just myself or my partner, as well as the seller.<br>The worst experience I have ever had. Compared to the estate agent we are dealing with now that have been incredible, friendly and helpful from the start, completely different experience.... Read more
