Simon was with me every step of the way in the auction process giving me his expert guidance and advice. He has such a wealth of knowledge and experience in every aspect of the process and was able to move things on and get to the heart of matters quickly and efficiently and maintained a positive and highly professional attitude throughout. The Auction process was new to me and Simon made navigating it straightforward and effective. Nothing was too much trouble and calls and queries were dealt with quickly and effectively. I am very grateful for all the work he has done on the sale of my property

They sold our flat within 2 weeks of us being on the market with them. All of the team are very helpful and always happy to help. They made the process of selling very easy and stress free. They have emailed us countless listings within our budget and are always happy to show us around the properties. Danielle, our mortgage consultant, has been the greatest help of all!! She has explained things thoroughly to us and we were able to understand the process better as it can be very nerve-wrecking as first time buyers. She has assisted us every step of our journey by giving professional opinion and supplying us our needed documents when we need it. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!!

Ben and the rest of the team in Battle Office couldn't have been more helpful. charming and professional. It was not the easiest of transactions but at all times Stuart was on hand to answer any questions or negotiate with the sellers on varying points, under sometimes difficult circumstances. It was a great team effort to achieve the result we all wanted, buyer, seller and agent!

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

26th Sep 2024 (27 days ago)First class service from start to finish. Always returned calls if unavailable first time and a pleasure to deal with. Towards completion it was far easier to call Bexhill Estates for a progress update than it was my own solicitor.
5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!- This agent doesn't have any reviews
