Then they let themselves down and me, if anyone wanted to view they told them drive past and if you like it make an appointment, since when do people buy house by driving by. No feed back at all I think good opertunities were squandered a lazy team.

19th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.

21st Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, especially if you are renting through them. I’m really disappointed with my experience. The people I’ve spoken to have always come across as polite and approachable, which made me feel initially reassured. However, that hasn’t been reflected in how my situation has actually been handled. My main issue is with my deposit. It has now been over 2 months, and I am still waiting for a proper response or resolution despite following up multiple times. This has been frustrating and stressful, especially as it feels like there’s a lack of urgency in dealing with something that matters a lot to me. Each time I call, I’m directed to the lettings team, but they often seem unaware of my case or any previous communication, even after I’ve been in touch repeatedly. This shows a clear lack of internal communication and coordination. It’s disappointing because the conversations themselves feel positive, but the follow-through just isn’t there. I was expecting a more efficient and transparent service.

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.

We found the whole team to be very friendly and professional and easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
