It was apparent from the start that we were in good hands as they treated our elderly parents (the clients) with sensitivity and respect, something my brother and I are forever thankful for. We cannot recommend Cooper and Tanner, Frome highly enough; they did exactly what we needed them to.
7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way. We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful. The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with. Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

3rd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)Harry has been a complete star since we first met him at two properties that we viewed with him. He has gone out of his way to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible, doing the job that our own estate agents should have done. I can not recommend Harry and Chaffers highly enough - Harry deserves a medal (or a pay rise :) )

Max and Josh were always there to answer questions and to smooth out any bumps along the way, and we always felt they were working with us. We've had terrible experiences with some agents so they were a breath of fresh air. We trusted them the whole way and highly recommend :)

At every stage, we’ve been impressed with the blend of confidence, initiative and expertise shown by the team handling our sale and next purchase. Sophie has been a total star - always keeping things moving and keeping us in the loop too. When the inevitable bumps in the road occurred, Sophie went above and beyond to get us back on track. Highly recommend.

They have communicated well with myself and all other parties. I have always been able to rely on them for accurate market advice and honest assessment.
7th Jan 2026 (14 days ago)Lodestone started off really promising as an estate agent. Got us listed pretty quickly, managed a few viewings in the time it was listed even managed to get us a full offer within 6 months of being on the market. Then it all went wrong. Buyers pulled out, viewings stopped coming and eventually they resigned. If you’re not a house in Bruton over the £500k mark with that country feel, don’t even bother they won’t want to know. Luckily Roderick Thomas was wonderful took us on with open arms.

On one occasion I was contacted on a Sunday evening to ensure that I was aware of what was happening. Decent human beings too who care about their clients and making the whole process as painless and effective for them as possible. Particular thanks to Scarlett and Joel.

Found the perfect place to buy, no chain, all the paperwork being done, solicitor fees paid. 4 weeks in the process, we were gazumped!!!! No feelings whatsoever, or people skills. Horrendous experience.- 12th Jan 2026 (9 days ago)Very positive experience using Chaffers - Emma was accommodating and friendly and I felt she understood the needs of our family. Good communication and I’d definitely use them again

9th Aug 2025 (24 weeks ago)After 10 days I changed estate agents as was not happy with Nest. They have no office they only advertise on Rightmove but didn't mention this before the ad went live. They were a grand more expensive than some other estate agents. My house was badly advertised at first like a kids Wendy house. No for sale sign turned up and I was given an EPC through the estate agent which was overpriced. This was all done by Oliver who was also about to go on leave for a week. I would not recommend Nest and only went with them as buying a new house through them.

There is no doubt in my mind that without him, we would not have been able to complete our purchase. He went above and beyond to make the sale happen even driving hours to deliver physical contracts to lawyers. Through the ups and downs of a house sale and purchase he continued to be communicative, patient and delivered unparalleled quality of service (again, he was not our agent). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlie if you are looking to sell your property
