We were buying our dream house through Andrew Grant in 2023 and they were selling ours as well, to supposedly make the process easier. I would never use or recommend Andrew Grant for either selling or buying property. Andrew Grant insisted on a £5000 reservation fee for the house we wanted to buy (more than the normal £3000). Andrew Grant then put the house (we thought we were buying) back on the market after just 4 months, but refused to give us our £5000 reservation fee back. At the same time they changed the wording across their website from “the property ‘will’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” to “the property ‘may’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” after the buyer pays the reservation fee. The matter is now being dealt with by The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards will hopefully be involved. Buyers beware- do not leave a reservation fee with Andrew Grant! Any buyers or sellers considering using Andrew Grant should read their T&Cs very very carefully before entering into any agreement with them and keep all copies of any correspondence.... Read more

The agent was very pleasant and friendly, keeping in touch frequently to give me feedback and discuss how things were going. She was able to meet nearly all of the prospective buyers, despite being on holiday for part of the time, which I found very helpful when deciding who to sell to.... Read more
