I would give no stars if I could. As tenants we had to deal with this awful agency. They’ve left us in winter in the coldest month without boiler/hearing for two weeks. They were not in any hurry to sort it out. The little problems like they’ve lost the key to our property and was keep sending the viewings without the 24hrs legal notice. They delayed the release of our deposit when we’ve moved out for over 10 days. They never got back to us, we always had to follow up with them and they would give us attitude on the phone. To top it off they lied to our landloard to cover themselves up. We’ve extended the contract last year for another year and they’ve failed to send the new contract to us on two occasions and when we dropped to their office they said “it was lost in the post”, blushing and obviously lying. We lived only around the corner and always said we can just pop in to sign it. These are just few things I could remember of the top of my head over the two years. The landloard and our flat was brilliant and we had to start relationships with landloard directly as this agency is beyond anyone patience and human error understanding. Advice to the management team : stop hiring idiots.

Appallingly unprofessional
This letting agency is appallingly unprofessional. I cannot see any point of my paying 'agency fees' to Andrews. First of all, when I had a view of the property and decided to make a tenancy contract, being aware of the unclean condition of the flat, one of the staff members in charge of the property told me that he would arrange a cleaning service. When I moved into the flat after several days, it was not cleaned at all. I called the agent to send a professional cleaner as soon as possible, and in response, over the phone, he told me that he will do it within 24 hours. I had waited but no one turned up. Because the conversation between the agent and me was not recorded in written form, when emailed him after a week, he suddenly told me that he had never made such a promise. I came to terms regarding the cleaning issue and did all the cleaning on my own. I had to do so because there was no written record of the verbal promise.
Upon moving into the flat, I also found many problems - e.g., mold and fungi in the bathroom and a window which is unable to be firmly closed. Thus, I emailed Andrews, asking it to deal with the repairs after a week of my move-in via email. For ONE YEAR, it did not come to carry out the repair despite my emailing and reporting the issues to Andrews several times. I also used the Repair Report Online system, but, in the end, no one came to fix the problems. I had a horrible experience in the flat for one year, and moved out.
Just a couple of days ago, Andrews got in touch with me regarding the deposit. Extremely appallingly, the agent in charge of the flat told me that the landlord would like to deduct £154 from my deposit to fix the repairs which had existed from the very beginning of my tenancy last year. At the moment, I am challenging the proposed deduction by the landlord, making arguments with photographic and written evidence as well as inventory reports.
This letting agency is extremely unprofessional, and I would recommend people to avoid it at any cost.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Really disappointed to see as well that this agent has FAKE REVIEWS! I had a viewing confirmed by a Scott Rea who works for Andrews mid week and they have not turned up it was booked in for a property on Lavant Road in Eastbourne and I called to ask if anyone was coming as it had already been 20 minutes since the appointment was booked and his excuse was ‘I don’t normally do this so it seems very strange that it’s not booked it’ not even a SORRY!

Would give no stars if we could!! Terrible communication, withholding deposit without explanation. Beware!! What a terrible letting agency. Maybe we were unlucky with the landlady from hell but the agents should act on their behalf fairly... this was not the case with Andrews. Avneet was so incapable as an agent, especially at the end of the tenancy! Avoid at all costs.

40 minutes late for a viewing! After giving all my information over the phone they could hardly give me any information about the property and who was the landlord! Unprofessional so say the least!
