My husband returned to Andrews estate agents ( his original choice) to find tenants for his long-term rented property having become disillusioned with other agents. My husband chose to manage the property himself and unfortunately this proved to be a very distressing and stressful experience. Molly and Gurmit provided support services and ongoing, informed, sensitive and helpful professional advice and practical support to terminate the tenancy over a prolonged period for which we are extremely grateful and could not have done without.

We changed from a different agent for selling our house because we weren't satisfied with how it was progressing.<br><br>It was a night and day difference selling with the Andrews team in Downend. Antonia, Nick, and Tom were professional, pro active, "can do", and responsive. Once they were on board, our house sold quickly. The profile and pictures they did were targeted and high quality. The potential buyers they brought in were more solid and less speculative. The video they shot generated large interest.<br><br>They kept up momentum throughout the selling process always following up when and how they said they would. Could not recommend them enough.

We have been very disappointed with our experience. When we moved in, the property was in a terrible and unhygienic condition — dirty kitchen and toilet, broken door locks, no working lights, and the backyard and garage full of the previous tenant’s waste. We were pressured to move in before it was properly cleaned, despite clearly requesting otherwise. Many issues (including a leaking boiler for over a year and a persistent foul smell in the kitchen) were never resolved, even though we raised them repeatedly.It was clearly shows that the agency Andrew’s property management Downend DISCRIMINATED us,because I already requested them that my child have chronic asthma and I need the house in good condition<br><br>Despite having a strong rental history and a combined income of £80,000, we were still forced to take unnecessary income protection insurance. The referencing process made us feel distrusted, stressed, and unfairly judged. We genuinely felt discriminated against as Indian tenants during this whole process.<br><br>We maintained the property very well throughout our tenancy, yet were asked to leave just when the house finally became livable. This has been one of the most difficult rental experiences we have ever had.I never recommend this agency to anyone coming from abroad.????????????????????????

Had two viewings in one day with them, both for different properties. In the morning, I had confirmation texts to confirm they were to go ahead. Got to the first property viewing, no one there, wait 10 minutes and called into the office. They said the viewing was cancelled but couldn't give a reason why. But said that the estate agent was still there to show me around (after a lot of back and forth with them on the phone they finally agreed I could do a 5 minute tour of the house), he actually had someone else in there that had run over massively. His attitude was awful and was like I was a problem even though they messed up bookings.<br><br>I went to the second viewing, again no one turned up at the next property. I called again and they said that the property had been sold STC. Asked why I had a confirmation text for the viewing, couldn't be answered. He was apologetic, and advised I should of got an email, phone call and text which I got none of and wasted over an hour travelling about and waiting. Andrews are one of the more expensive agents out there (for selling) and you would think that came through in their service, however it feels distinctly lacklustre. Would be apprehensive about viewing/dealing with them.

From the get go Shannon at the Downend branch has been looking after us in finding a rental flat for me, my wife and our 3 year old son. We have purchased a house in downend through Andrews and dealt primarily with Antonia. We had a great experience throughout with really prompt responses to queries and she helped us get the purchase over the line, going out of her way to make sure we could both see the property at different times due to work commitments too. Having dealt with multiple estate agents in Bristol during our house hunt and not being left very satisfied with the service, Antonia’s approach was a breath of fresh air and made us much more likely to list our home with Andrews in the future.

My husband Daron had a conversation with Paul from the Downend office today and he could not have been more helpful.
