Absolutely shocking. They are leaving me with a wet damp floor that was flooded while laid empty with 2 kids, this was reported the day I moved in in July, but after promising it would be fixed I've now been told the landlord cannot afford to fix it because the boiler needed replacing, the only reason I signed the tenancy agreement is because they said it would be replaced. I would really avoid them.

Please avoid using this estate agent. I am a foster carer and made it abundantly clear the property needed to be in great shape. The garden gate is a death trap, there are floorboards missing, kitchen cupboards changing off. All repairs were PROMISED by Emily who then proceeded to just ignore my messages leaving me further frustrated in a dangerous house not fit for purpose. The bathroom is on a 25 degree tilt so you slide off while using. Shocking!

I started renting my house at the beginning of May and I can’t thank the people who I have helped me get eveything sorted ready to move in. Olivia Firth and Emma Stone specially have been amazing! Everything I have asked has been followed through with care and genuine helpfulness. Nothing is too much and eveything I have asked has been followed up with emails or phone calls giving me explanations. They have made a very stressful/anxiety provoking time a walk in the park.
The people are beecroft from the lettings team to the maintenance people have been second to none. I am so grateful for the help and support I have received after only been in my house for 3 weeks.

This girl goes above and beyond for me always, always finds the time to chat and doesn’t rush me off phone her service is 100% and more she didn’t have to but gave me a call about the increase didn’t have to but felt she needed too so it wasn’t a shock for me again in a crappy place still but she as the time for me always she defo needs the recognition that or if can be offered as she again is another asset to your company

After numerous enquiries, after being told I'm on waiting lists for calls about viewings and being rudely cut off phonecalls, this company is a disgrace. I have an email today telling me there's over 20 threads of my emails asking about properties. I had 1 viewing to be told I couldn't apply as someone had been accepted. Worst part is they took over my old letting agent All Set To let who were superb and now I can't even get a viewing. Laughable really. I purchased through Beecroft and they were always flexible for additional viewings. I didn't have much contact with Sarah my appointed sales representative but when I did she was always happy to help and offer any assistance. I met some of the other agents first hand however I've forgotten names, one of which went above and beyond to visit the property to take pictures of manholes for the solicitors enquiries. All in all I would recommend again. Friendly staff at every contact point. There was a delay in responses sometimes but worked out well after chasing up a few more times than I would've liked. Been dealing with this company for a number of years.
Had no real problems with the rental service, but with all due respect once the rental management service is set up it runs itself.
God forbid you want anything specific from them or you ask them to call you back. They are just dreadful and never call you back.
They have a woman by the name of Donna on the sales side of their business......don't even waste your time speaking or even trying to speak with this person. You'd have more chance of meeting the Wizard Oz than Donna!
You leave a message for her and you might as well have not wasted your time and effort. She must be busiest person in the World, or the most ignorant as she never comes back to you.
We want to sell our property in Barnsley but we just cannot use Beecroft even though it would be convenient to use them they are just awful.

Not a tenant , simply went to view a property , house was a state black mould everywhere , holes in walls , dog mess, wall paper hanging off walls. Carpet marked everywhere.
Was told landlord was leaving it like this as rental market was that high at the moment they’d be a que for it. My main concern being how good are the landlords at correcting issues if that home was acceptable:

I've had a great experience with beecroft, the agent helping every step of the way with my move, Rafaela mateus, has gone above and beyond, she's not only helped me to find and move into a place, she has been keeping in touch to make sure I'm settling into the new place without too much problem and if I did have any problems or questions then she would always try to help as quickly and efficiently as possible, including with my change of circumstances for universal credit, if anyone is wanting to move and they go through beecroft I highly recommend asking for Rafaela to be your agent she's very kind and doesn't make you feel any kind of negativity for not knowing or not being able to find anything and she will contact other residents and/or the landlord to find out the answer to anything she doesn't know the answer to, again she has made the whole moving process alot less stressful than what it normally is and it's been a joy to have her helping me through the move, I think she deserves a big promotion but that's just me

I rented a property from Beecroft estates for a few years. No issues besides very frequent property visits, until the end of the tenancy when deposit was deducted for damage that existed on the date I moved in (my fault for not keeping pictures), they didn't look after the property during viewings and I returned to a urine covered bathroom and litter on the kitchen sides and they sent a rubbish removal company to clear my belongings from the house 2 weeks prior to my tenancy end date (Lucky I had just nipped back to collect some bits when they came through the door).
As stated no issue during the tenancy but very negative end to an otherwise okay experience.

We arrived for a house viewing today to be kept waiting for some time. Only after a phone call to the office did someone turn up. 20 mins late. No apology just an accusing question “ what time did they tell you “. He then turned towards the property telling us we need to take our shoes off as the tenant was still inside. I was waiting for my viewing for almost two weeks, then had to rescheduled because the lights on car were faulty so I couldn’t drive at evening, with no option for Saturday. So annoyingly I took annual leave to drive from London to Doncaster for the viewing, only to find out that they cancelled on me by email the day before due to an offer on the house. Dear Beescroft, not everyone sits by the emails all day, make an effort -call or text until u get confirmation that the message was receive!! Please don’t assume that! In addition, to my surprise, why would u cancel on someone when u don’t know if they like it enough and willing to give more??? wasted 6 hours of my and my friends time ( drive time), my annual leave, my petrol. Very dissapointing unprofessional experience.

Went to view a few houses, and as I arrived the estate agent was asleep in the car and I had to then slam the car door to wake the person up. I then was greeted by a man who didn’t even say hello or introduce themselves and didn’t even ask who I was. When I was in the property there was dead flies on window sills and a spider in one of the toilets. Not good standards at all and absolutely appalling, I will not be using this estate agents ever again and highly don’t recommend either.

A disgrace to the letting agent industry. They backed up a landlord totally refusing to carry out both basic and important repairs to our rental property. Had no empathy or professional commitment to us the tenant and made us out to be at fault when we had spent thousands of pounds of our own money inside and outside the property. I’d have put no stars if there had been that option. If you are renting from Beecroft, give your choice a lot of thought.

If you have any issues they have a handy online portal to report issues and they get responded to almost imminently! We are now in our second property with Beecroft and have retained our trust in the amazing Dominique to look after us, our landlord put our home up for sale and Dominique got us straight into booking viewings for houses ???? it wasn’t long before we found our new family home and within 2 weeks Dominique had all the checks done, leased with the Landlord and got the keys to us! Since i started renting in the UK, I can categorically say that Beecroft Estates have given me the best fair ground before land compare to so many agents who always try to reap me off. they returned all i was due for and am happy. Absolute zero customer service to tenants. Moved out of the property more than a month ago and still waiting for my deposit back. Rang them several times and their excuse are "property manager is not in" " we will contact the landlord" "we will get back to you" never heard anything back unless i ring but then still get the same lame excuse.

we rented from them last December 2020 as we relocated back to UK from the US. upon arrival we found there was no heat or hot water. we were fortunate that the landlords got a plumber out the next day which was new year's day. things went fine until August when we noticed there was water leaking down into the kitchen from the toilet in the bathroom above. we reported it immediately and it still took them two weeks to get the plumber out. the leak with the toilet had nothing to do with us, but it did damage the ceiling and wall and at one point it leaked so badly it went into the electrical circuit box and shorted out the power. we moved out 30 sep 2021 and told them to use the security deposit for the October rent. they're angered that we wouldn't pay another months rent, what would be the sense in that, as they would just have to give it back as we caused NO damage to the house, and they dragged their feet fixing the toilet leak so there was damage to the kitchen ceiling, but it wasn't from us. I highly recommend researching and checking reviews of letting agents/agencies before working with them.

Recently moved to a rented property landlord and agency had made no effort to tighten taps, and make sure the electricity and gas top up card !!were available we spent Saturday evening in the freezing cold with no gas this is very disappointing after paying over £1000 for deposit and rent ???? very dissatisfied I would not recommend them to anyone. Very irresponsible and due lack of care for customers

Viewed a property that was supposedly ready for occupation, smashed bathroom, half painted, and badly needing cleaning. Agents could also use a course on customer relations, most unhelpful and very little courtesy. Found a far superior letting agent locally.

I advertised my property through Beecroft Estates last Friday.
I received the first enquiries only the day after.
I did 7 viewings on Wednesday, 4 of the 7 families wanted the property, and I signed up a nice family on Thursday.
So, only 6 days from advertising to renting the property is pretty good.
Communication was perfect all the way through the whole process..
I have used Beecroft Estates several times before and I shall do again.

Ceiling fell in 2 years ago. Took a year to get fixed faulty electrics for a month first electric test in 8 years house full of damp been reporting it years landlord got no money to fix. Not my problem I pay my rent on time. Doors piss threw if it rains. Environmental health team involved finally

Yesterday I book in a property for viewing today, I just lost my time because the agent don’t bothered to come and when I call in first place they say they forgot to book me in and after put me in wait call they say the property is gone, Which make me think they don’t want to rent us this house( maybe because we are foreigners)
Bad experience second time. Over 2 years ago we apply for a house, they guarantee we have the house and we arrange to move out from the property that we stay in and after 2 weeks still not get any answers. the application was successful but the landlord was in holiday and they say “to not disturb the landlord in holiday” and I have to apply from other house from other agency and we get that house and in the day that we need to move beecroft agent call me and told me the landlord is happy to have us in the house but it was already too late because we just pick up the keys from other house.

Turned up to a viewing, only for the vendor/agent to not show. House (through windows) already did not look like the pictures on rightmove and it quickly became obvious why the floor plans were not uploaded too (inconvenient door locations, small dimensions etc).
In all fairness, office phones were answered quickly, but we are coming away feeling like our time has been wasted and that we were not valued as prospective first time buyers. Wouldn’t recommend.

I've used this company now twice to sell my property and then for a purchase. Staff are very straight talking and knowledgeable and unlike others estate agents do not try and push a mortgage down your throat. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a easy simple sale or purchase.

You say you have 180 properties and not just our own. We moved on November 20 and the boiler has been damaged since November 26. Since then, you have not managed to fix the malfunction even though it has been a month and a half. We wonder if all the property is defective, what are you doing? If at one you are unable to solve ... Good money for rents but you DO NOT make any of the obligations that will come back. I write to you again that I have not paid any rent since this month until you make the repair so that I have warmth and hot water.
Say that you think that if we have 4 hours of hot water and gas is enough and it is not an inconvenience. I think we should pay you for 4 hours and I do not think it would be an inconvenience to you either. I'm telling you now that the water runs out of the pipe and possibly floods the bottom. I moved and paid to have all the conditions not as you think. We do not like putting a radiator to pay extra cash because you are not able to be good managers. When you chose this job you thought you were able to solve the emerging situations. When you showed us the property you said everything was okay. So you've lied to us, because the tenants who stood before us had the same problems. We got in touch with them and they told us that the boiler had to be changed for a year, but you did not do that

Useless staff don't know what there doing giving wrong info out went to look at a house was told as been self employed I needed 6 months statements went bank then went to there office then told wrong info and couldn't apply as it was a new company so no tax returns wasn't done.. some staff barely look like they've left school none of the staff seem to know what's what with info 3 different staff gave me different info on what I needed to apply complete shambles beescroft estates are I wouldn't use again and heard a lot of bad rep of this place

absolutely disgrace from the landlord as he comes off a horrible bully, he doesn't care about the welfare of any customer, all he cares is what goes in his wallet, have to bare with threats from him and horrific abuse.. by far the worst landlord I have ever encountered so a huge warning from this business, also when you leave and even f you leave the house tidy and clean, they always find a way to keep the deposit, wouldn't recommend renting with these atall. Edit; it was Mr Beecroft himself, the actual owner of Beecroft estates, so if your the owner then you was the horrible bully I was talking about... seen mayy comments similar to this Mr Beecroft, horrible guy..

Absolutely awful. I can't say anything about renting from them because I would never do that! Went to a viewing and there were 2 other families there waiting for the same appointment. So, they booked 3 into the same slot which is weird.
The guy to 'show us round' was over 15 minutes late! And when he arrived, he had his top off! He didn't even put it on for the whole viewing!!! He just had it over his shoulder. He didn't even show any of us round, just opened the door and expected us to go round. The property looked nowhere near as big as it did in the photos, with one family leaving saying 'it's too small. We thought it was much bigger.'
I went to look around and I blatantly heard the Estate Agent guy burp really loudly in front of me and he didn't even excuse himself. Absolutely unprofessional and such a disrespectful way to act during a house viewing. I couldn't look at him with his whole torso out.
Plus, there is a fee for simply putting in an application and its non-refundable. £72 and you're probably not going to get the property. No thank you, not with that unprofessionalism.

As new tenants I have to say we are extremely satisfied with the letting service we have received from Beecroft. We have found the fees very reasonable, compared to ALL the other letting agents we approached in this area and have found the "report a repair" service extremely efficient.
Terri, our "personal property agent", has proved herself a credit to the business.
Having used several letting agents since our "big move" from the South of the country I can honestly say that Beecroft have easily earned 5 stars from us and are definitely recommended!

Terrible communication, they charge a £60 check out fee but then I had to take annual leave to do all the running around because all my emails regarding leaving (after being pressurised to leave early) were ignored, zero communication regarding dispute in deposit which still hasn't been sorted 2 months after leaving, expect to have your emails ignored until angry phone calls and expect to be harrassed about late payments when you've infact paid early because why bother giving your tenmant any sort of piece of mind or dignity. From the other reviews it seems land lords are happy but no tennant has a positive experience here.

I`m with this estate Agency for about three years. The current property is the second one that I rent from Beecroft Estate. During this period of course we has a several problems. Once it was a problem with central heating and another time was a problem with our boiler. Every time we has proper actions form Beecroft Estate at the same day. I really like my last house it is in very good condition with nice garage and lovely green backyard. Till this moment I`m completely satisfied.

In spite of the fact I was first applicant who was ready to move in anytime I heard from them that they haven't got enough applications and I have to wait until they'll get more to choose the best one. I wasn't the best one and I will never be, because I'm not British. Another problem is they will lie in your face, I wanted to rent house which was refurbished for about 6 weeks and they informed me and my friends they can't rent it because the previous tenant decided to stay in... who? A ghost?

I`m dissapointed.... Together with friends we made and we paid application for the apartment. We were waiting for acceptance for almost a month. In the end, we were deceived , they can not rent us an apartment, because the previous tenant decided to stay in the apartment.
The truth is that previous tenant no longer lives there from a long time and just more people were interested in the apartment, although we have been the first applicants that meets the requirements... I feel deceived. Definitely do not recommend.

Inherited Beecrofts as the management agent for my rental property when they bought out All Set to Let. I am so disappointed with their management. Not only did they fail to recognise late-paying tenants (until notified by me!) but they allowed tenants to leave my property in an unfit state and sent me misleading photographs of the handover check out. They accepted no responsibility, did nothing to even attempt to rectify the situation and I am not sure what my 10% management fee went on when I could've done a MUCH better job myself. Not recommended whatsoever.
