We recently completed on our purchase and this was 6 months after our offer was accepted. The whole process took extremely long and the deal could have easily fallen through if it wasn’t for Neal. He remained on top of the whole process, keeping us (the buyers) and the sellers up to date with the progress from either side. His deep understanding of the property he is working with and the area as a whole comes in really handy as he normally would have instant answers for your questions. Neil was very professional yet friendly from the outset. It was a very different experience to most other estate agents which is definitely a good thing. I never once felt pressured or chased during the buying process - the check ins were done at a good pace and with no stress - this made a huge difference. However, Neil was always very responsive and got answers for me straight away as needed during the process. What really stood out though was when I collected the keys - Neil greeted me at the house and spent a long time going through everything with me in the house, showing me things, helping me with knowing where key things were like metres and appliances and answering questions. Just before Christmas 2023 my 96 year old uncle finally agreed to move into a Care Home. Acting as his Attorney, I met Neal Trikamji and Oliver Cobrin of Breslauer and after their inspection of the property in Stanmore discussed the marketing strategy and instructed them to market the property immediately after Christmas. Neal contacted me before Christmas and arranged for a specific applicant to view the property before going to the open market. On assurance that the applicant was financially able and not in a chain, the viewing took place. Later that day an offer was made and following negotiation by Neal an increased offer was accepted. During the subsequent process of surveyor’s inspection, legal and practical questions, Neal ensured that there was easy communication and was readily available to deal with any matters arising. The sale was completed to the satisfaction of both parties. As a retired property consultant and former estate agent, I must compliment Neal in particular and Breslauer for their discreet handling of this transaction. Very impressed with the team. We interacted with the Breslaur team for a couple of years whilst looking for a house in the Stanmore / Edgware area. Despite a near miss we never ended up buying a property through them, but had quite a lot of dialogue. I found them to be extremely professional to deal with, pretty straight down the middle and very knowledgeable about the area. Thus i consider them to be very credible. They also seem to have a number of off-market properties so it's worth getting to know them properly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for a sale of a property in the areas the specialise in. What started off as quite a drawn out process due to some unfortunate bad luck with my first purchaser, (at no fault of Breslauer might I add), turned into an incredibly swift and satisfactory conclusion. My sale was mainly handled by Oliver Cobrin, who provided a brilliant service throughout the process. He kept me completely up-to-date with my sale, as well as going above and beyond by helping me resolve issues relating to the local council planning office and always being available, even after hours, to deal with me. Not very good at responding. Saw a property through them with Oliver. - He didnt turn up due to a car blocking him in, left to vendors to show us around. - Didnt call to get any feedback, we had to call him a day later. - Put an offer in to the property and again didnt hear back from him for 2 days. Then when i called him again, he had apparently confused me with another 4 people with the same name as me? - Then upon "realising" which person he was talking to he just said the vendor said "No to the offer but thank you." - Buyers be aware and vendors choose your agents wisely. Not sure the offer was even put forward. Unfortunately Oliver is a let down to the agency.... Read more
