After having an offer confirmed on a property, myself and my partner were extremely excited to be moving into what we deemed to be a dream home!

An appointment was made for a second viewing on the property, in which I arrived, albeit much to the surprise of the owners who just simply were not informed.

This is where things began to do drastically wrong.

Shortly leaving the property on this Saturday in question, I was greeted with an incredibly aggressive phone call from a lady called Laura from the Aldershot branch, who’s opening line to me was “who the hell do you think you are turning up to my clients’ house “uninvited”.

After attempting to explain my side of the story, it was made very clear to me that “after today’s events, you will not win this house. I’m giving it to someone else”.

Last thing Monday, a phone call was made by the director of the branch, a very deceiving character by the name of Frank, went out of his was to make contact with my vendors, informing them that my chain had collapsed, and that MY buyers (my house was sold STC), has decided to pull out of the purchase (absolutely NOT TRUE).

Throughout this process, another offer had been made, but had been dismissed as the couple chose us as they very much liked and respected our story, (we were risking our wedding fund to secure the property).

For no other reason other than malicious intent, Frank decides to pass forward the fabricated story of my “weak chain”, causing the vendors to quite rightly panic, and decide to withdraw their offer of selling to us. All the while, Frank creating another fabricated justification stating it was “due to financial reasons”, in that we were outbid.

With no option to come back with a counter offer, Bridges Aldershot deemed the case to be closed, and informed us that the deal was done.

So, no dream house. All down to a fabricated lie.

Thank you Frank, Laura, and the rest of the incompetent staff at Bridges for yet another horrendous experience, and for causing absolutely devastation for my family.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Not impressed at the moment, I informed Bridges earlier today my bathroom floor is flooding due to a cracked cistern. Now they're
closed for the w/e and the only emergency numbers are not for flooding issues! I rent a first floor maisonette and am very concerned that if the cistern crack gets worse, my neighbours flat downstairs, (privately owned) , will experience a ceiling leak over this weekend.

If only zero stars was an option! Constantly fail me as a landlord. DO NOT USE THEM. initially finding a tenant was seemingly difficult for them, getting references and credit checks was hard for them, even setting a start date for the tenancy and communicating this to the person living in the property at the time, and now my tenants have gone without heating and hot water for 8 days (And agents didn't inform me) because the property managers seem to get confused over other properties they manage?! massive lack of urgency or initiative shown, also mega fails with GDPR. I can't wait to get rid of them at the end of the contract and manage my own property with less stress!

Terrible service from this company. Cowboys in fact, and I would give 0 stars given the opportunity. Tried charging me for deposit registration upon my renewal which is highly illegal. I know this is as I am solicitor in the field. Secondly don't deal with any maintenance issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, AND RENT FROM AN AGENT WHO WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT!! I dont normally right reviews however I feel considering my legal background I should let people know of how incompetent these cowboys can be!!!!!!!

Customet service is despicable. Been told three times I would recieve a call back from Lynne and never did. My renewal is up today (2nd dec) and not heard a thing. I work in the industry and normally you are meant to hear at least 2 weeks prior to your renewal date what the situation is and not heard a thing still to this day even after chasin three of four times. Also with regards to my inspection, my property managers emails me a date and time, I take the day off then emails me a week later saying I will be round tomorrow at 12.00. When my inspection is still not due for another week. Communication and customer service is outrageous. Do not recommend at all.

Worst letting agents aldershot I have ever used never get back to you. All of them liars only deal with there own deals !!! Avoid Sean and Cara at all cost !!!! Moved my moving date asked them one question and they put the house I was meant to rent back on internet without telling me a week before !!!!! Do not use them!!!!

Been meaning to leave a review for 2 years! So initially started as a good process, very professional and efficient. Lots of properties, there's a reason why a lot of people do sell through Bridges. We were buying in the summer of 2018 with no chain so everything was going smoothly. One question we needed answering about the property caused a 3 week delay as the seller wasn't responding to the solicitors. When the contact at Bridges came back from holiday his manner had changed towards us, we were receiving emails at all sorts of hours (23:10 being the latest time we received one). The whole manner of conversation over the phone the next day was rude and I wouldn't expect an estate agent to speak down to a buyer (or seller) the way we were spoken to, I couldn't possibly imagine someone speaking like that in a face to face conversation. Sale was concluded a few weeks afterwards. To summarise, excellent to begin with but a poor finish. I hope they have improved their service since then.

Recently purchased our house which was advertised by Bridges in Fleet. Dale arranged a viewing for us quickly, despite it being his first day back from furlough following Covid 19. Dale helped ensure the purchase went though smoothly and followed up things up as required.
