From start to finish, Martin and Co were flawless and efficient with how they handled the let and the time frame in which it was executed. My friend recently became a council tenant owing to his disability and quite honestly most letting agents we approached just shut him down. Jacob showed him his property of interest without any hesitation. He contacted him afterwards, as he said he would, and when the offer was accepted by the landlord- he kept him updated at all times throughout. There was a bit of a kerfuffle with misinformation from the council which involved Richard dealing with part of the let and he too just effortlessly got this over the line. At times we also spoke with Muhammad at the office and everyone throughout the process was polite and helpful. They truly provided a caring and efficient service. Thank you so much for your understanding as your open mind saved my friend becoming homeless. ????????

Martin & Co Aldershot have been managing my rental property for over 10 years now and I can honestly say that I would recommend them 100% for their professionalism, attention to detail, customer service, and care for both tenant and landlord.
I know that they are taking care of all the little things that come up without me having to get involved, and anything I do need to be consulted on is always dealt with quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. And the fact that I rarely hear from them means I know my tenant is happy too - my current tenant in fact signed a 2 year contract which is almost unheard of these days!
In an industry that can be tainted with a money-first service-last reputation, Martin & Co are a breath of fresh air and stand head and shoulders above the rest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any landlord looking for a truly excellent letting agent or any tenant looking for a new home!

Avoid if you can. Not good at all unfortunately. They don't bother repairing or fixing things (with different excuses), slow to respond and as usual they care only about money.
Also, be careful with property reports (but you already know that, right?): they don't put issues in the initial report and try to put as much as possible "new" issues in the final report.
And if they can "forget" returning some money to you that they owe, be assured that they _will_ forget to do it.

It's difficult to express just how good Shannon and James are at Martin & Co, but when the competitor estate agent you're buying through, and the solicitor you've instructed to manage your transactions, tell you your selling agents are phenomenal you know you've made the right choice. Time and again Martin & Co went above and beyond for us, and we always felt like their top priority despite them having many other clients to look after. From the marketing of our property, to literally preventing the chain from collapsing at the end of the process, they demonstrated why they are different from other agents in the area; they are trustworthy, communicate brilliantly and the consummate professionals in every interaction you have with them. If I could give less than one star I would! I was guarantor for my daughter's flat and I completely agree with those who have given 1 star. A shambolic establishment. They spin defensive emails that are filled with lies, half truths an innuendos! Do yourselves a favour do not use this agency unless you are willing to deal complete childish emails and inaction!

We had booking with these guys and went to view a property on 12th Feb in Aldershot where the agent jamie who was showing us property told us we can park on the estate where property was. We did as he said, viewed property and now we got a parking ticket. On contacting martin and co about the ticket we been told that its our responsibility that we have to pay the fine because there was sign all over development and we are responsible where we park the car. I was forced to pay the fine. I would like to inform all buyers and sellers please do not go forward with this company. That was a very bad business. Tricking people. The whole company should be ashamed.

Took the 550 holding fee. Told us we were getting the property, that we had passed all the checks and we were making more than what they requested. That they would contact us the next day so we could arrange a time to sign all the paper work. But the next day it was a different story. Was told we didn't pass the checks and didn't make enough, even though we were making 6k more than what they required.
Felt absolutely robbed. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I would like to thank Toby and Shannon who have both been dealing with the sale of my in-laws' property and helping them to find a home for them to settle down and retire. My father-in-law works long hours 6 days a week and my mother-in-law is a vulnerable adult who is very nervous about the whole process of selling and buying. They carefully tailored their service around them both and handled the process in the most professional and sensitive way.
They were always on hand to give solid and comprehensive advice regarding sale prices and the market generally; making themselves available to us for any questions we had and to talk us through the process and the offers we received.
Not only did they manage, in an unpredictable market, to find a buyer that made a brilliant offer on the property but they did so in an extremely quick timescale.
They have been so patient and kind even when we were unsure and looking around at other estate agents.
I am so glad that we made the decision to instruct Martin & Co and I couldn't recommend them more highly. If anyone else (like I was) is shopping around and thinking about instructing other agents in the local area - stop. I can guarantee you will not get a smoother sale and this level of superior service anywhere else.
My review really does not do these guys justice - they have done a truly superb job.

Really happy with the service that was provided from Ray who saw us on sunday to see 2 hmo houses. Coming out off work to show us around and help us meant a lot and was really appreciated. Unfortunate that me and my partner are not deciding on the houses shown but was definitely a difficult choice as I can tell that Martin and co manage well and look after there tenants. We were so over the moon with the service provided by James Wiggins when selling our home! He used an amazing photographer to take beautiful pictures of our home, it was put on rightmove at the top of the search page for 2 weeks before the open day and we sold within 48 hours of the open day for above the listed price. I think it really pays to use people who know their market and take pride in what they do. The bar for estate agents and letting agents is set pretty low, but Martin and Co are in a different league.

Martin and Co Aldershot have been supporting me with my properties for over 4 years and I can say without hesitation I would not go anywhere else for my letting & selling needs.
Where my property sat vacant with other agents for 4 months, Martin and Co let within 3 weeks of instructing.
Not only did they fully manage my property while I was flying around the world, but when I came to sell and move on they did that too and with amazing professional advertising, communication and email notifications it wasn't long before they secured a buyer.
The service didn't stop there. Knowing Martin and Co as I do, I looked no further for the next property I wanted to rent and went back to Aldershot to ask if they had relationships with another Martin in Co in another town. They didn't, but I can say they do now. Within an hour of my conversation with James the director of the next Martin and Co was on the phone arranging my next property to be up on the market as soon as possible.
There are too many of James and Richard's team to thank in this review but I can say I have got to know them all very well over the past 4 years and I cannot thank them enough for the service they have given.
I have already and will always in the future have no hesitation in recommending Martin and Co Aldershot for anyone's letting and selling needs.

I recently let my first buy-to-let property through Martin & Co. Any trepidation I may have felt at becoming a landlord was very short-lived! Within 4-5 days of taking ownership the team had found suitable tenants. My wife & I have had to rent out our property since 2000 when a career change took us away and into work related accommodation hundreds of miles away. We had a couple of expensive and very negative experiences with another local agent until we asked James and his staff at Martins to act as our letting agents. I can only say that I wish we had found them years ago. VERY professional and up front. An excellent service that has taken away the worries of letting out our home. A few months ago we started the process of finding an agency to manage our flat for us as we will be moving overseas for a while, and wanted things taken care of. James and the team came out as our preferred choice against some other local agencies for a number of reasons.
I would always advocate that the key is about VALUE and not about being the cheapest or most expensive. It was important that the experience was good for us as well as tenants, and the team have delivered to expectations.
I would have no hesitation recommending or using James and the team and it is a refreshing change from the heavy sales tactics of some other high street agencies. Well done.

I have had an apartment rented out through Martin&Co (Aldershot) for the last 5 years. The process to list and let the property was extremely smooth and I had tenants in situ within 2 weeks. The level of service from Martin&Co has been very high with every member of staff impressing me with their work ethic and common sense approach to getting the job done. Any problems I have encountered have been dealt with quickly and without fuss or high expense. When I decided to sell the property with a sitting tenant Martin&Co very quickly found a buyer and went above and beyond the level of service expected in dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor. I cannot recommend Martin&Co enough. I would definitely encourage anyone with a property to rent or sell to do so through the staff at Aldershot.

I've used Martin and Co on a couple of occasions now to let my property and they're absolutely faultless. The efficiency and level of service is 1st class and includes things like getting reminders for things which I sometimes forget, and getting help with any queries I have. I am a gas and heating engineer and am continuously contracted by Martin & Co in Aldershot to tend to their issues and requirements throughout the year. During my work, I frequently come into contact with their varied tenants and hear nothing but praise for the way they are looked after by Richard, James and the rest of the team.
For my part, I find Martin & Co an extremely good company to serve, who are very professional in their approach to people and situations as well as very reliable when it comes to the issues of payment as well.
