Our sale went through quickly and was handled professionally by the Bridges team. We went along with Ben's suggestions which met our requirements as we needed a quick sale. Viewings were arranged and an offer was accepted by us within 14 days. whilst we felt that the commission rate was higher than expected we felt that it was justified as he handled an aborted house for us 2 years earlier. Wow! Estate agents used to be a pain and everyone understood that, but at least they had a thin veneer of professionalism and respectability. Just had an odd sales call from ‘Ben in the village’ phoning me up like we were old mates. I used Bridges to sell a flat 5 years ago, Ben thought I’d bought it 5 years ago - mistaken identity maybe, but at least read your own CRM properly! Then proceeded to call me ‘my man’ for the next two or three minutes, like we old friends down the pub until I called him out on his sales patter. Interestingly, I might have a property to sell but I think I’ll look somewhere a little less ‘chummy’ and a little more professional. Courtesy goes a long way chaps.

The biggest praise though has to be reserved for Hayley. She was outstanding, brilliant. The chain we had to deal with was a complicated nightmare, but Hayley never gave up. I previously brought my house in 2020 dealing with Ben Granville and even through covid it ran smoothly so it was a no brainer he was the first person I went to for the sale! These guys were fabulous through the viewing stages I never had a week on the marketing side on things where no viewings took place. Feedback was always given which is so important to clients. Hayley Levy has been a pleasure to deal with in sales progression also with regular updates and communication. Working within the property industry myself I know how important communication is and these guys nailed it. In the past ive had some really dubious experiences with estate agents. Not this time. Bridges have been fantastic. I can quantify why; i had three estate agents market this property, and from the start Bridges had far more viewings than the others combined. It was a consistent stream. Ben Granville, the manager, was really hands on throughout, offering advice that really showed his experience and understanding of the market. Once we found our buyer, Ben went on to recommend a solicitor. I’ll be honest, at the time it felt like a heavy sell and i was reticent about choosing them. In fact he was absolutely right and the firm he recommended did a good job with a high standard of communication throughout, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The result was that despite the length of chain, we went from offer to Exchange in about 8 weeks. That takes some considerable effort and co-ordination by both solicitors and agent to achieve. Finally the icing on the cake was Heyley Levy, whose job it is to ensure proper progress to exchange and completion. To say she was tenacious in this role is an understatement. Even whilst on leave she was on the email and phone to the various other solicitors and estate agents to ensure we successfully exchanged despite some last min bumps in the road which were undoubtedly, and frustratingly, caused by other solicitors not communicating or advising properly. She was also able to offer explanation and reassurance to me that helped make the whole process much less stressful than it could have been! I’d have no hesitation in recommending Bridges and the team in the Ash Vale office. By far the best estate agents I’ve ever done business with. Thanks guys!

Bridges offered a very comprehensive list of properties and the team, particularly Stephen Hubbard, were very swift and efficient at setting up several viewings over a perod of a few weeks. Stephen was totally professional and knowledgeable when showing me a variety of properties and listened very carefully to my requirements and comments, then Ben Baldry was very enthusiastic and helpful while Stephen was away on holiday.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a property in the general Ash/Normandy area to use Bridges - they are exceptionally good.

Such a presentable personality, resilience, forward thinking, team working, proactive communication, full attention even outside of working hours. When my parents passed away, my family entrusted bridges with the sale of their property. They began to negotiate a sale with a buyer who kept pushing the price down. All the while, a lovely family were repeatedly making an offer to bridges at full price and offering to pay the legal fees of the current buyer. The difference between the potential sales was at least £150,000. Maybe more like £200,000.
Bridges kept this other buyer secret and did not tell us about them even though no paperwork had been signed and we were in the negotiations stage. This buyer eventually dropped a letter through my door. For obvious reasons, I suspect there was financial motivation involved that was not in our interests but in that of bridges in cahoots with the buyer. To the sum of at least £150,000. A really appalling and unethical practice for an agency who were entrusted with a very important task at a time that our family were all suffering the loss of two parents.
In any case, when we found out, we opted for an alternative agency who treated us very well.
The other family eventually purchased the house and they loved it. I’m so happy we didn’t sell our parents home through some con artist work courtesy of bridges. I’m sure it was technically criminal behaviour.
Obviously this review is a zero star in reality but there wasn’t an option for that.

I usually don't bother writing about anywhere but given i wasted my saturday morning travelling to view a property to then be told by the current occupier that there were no viewing today and that they had been told Monday yet our confirmation text states Saturday 12th August at 11:15am.
I see they have great reviews otherwise but i can't recommend them, no cancellation notice no amendment request from them or anything. Won't bother viewing the property if they can't even get the date right.
