Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. Latest Reviews for Centrick Property - Birmingham

STAY AWAY FROM THEM. First of all the conditions of their contract are abusive (how could I know if it's the first time I rent a property?). They charge unreasonable amounts for the most stupid things. When you move out, they try to squeeze you and take as much as they can from your deposit.

I can't believe they have positive reviews. All the tenants I have talked to are of my same opinion. Honestly, avoid any kind of relation with this agency!

Completely avoid this company like a plague, constant mis informed, lies to my face by the "fantatsic" Tom Hayden who I would personally blame for the very poor service myself and many others have experienced and so much more I don't have the patience to write!!!

Centrick sold my friend's house In 4 weeks after having a disastrous experience with another local estate agent. She cannot thank you enough for the the professional support and kindness you're team ga ve her. Thank you.

6 months rent (New Street Chambers) involved contacting them every two weeks. External windows got broken (couldn't close them), washing machine and dishwasher stopped working, paint in the kitchen wasn't waterproof so it started disappearing.
None of those were fixed and Centrick tried to charge us for those at first! 6 months of living in such conditions, cold and lacking what we pay for.

Answer from Centrick? "we cannot authorise works without the landlord’s permission". That didn't stop them from charging us for various reasons. They protect only landlord's side and you are just annoying clients that "wants something again".

Not all real estates are like that, we moved further and any problem will get solved almost immediately.

Very misleading agents and poor service. One of their agent showed me brand new flat and i immediately agreed and paid token deposit and they reserved the apartment. I filled all required forms, gave bank details, bank statements to third party for verification in a day hoping all is clear in property and they must have checked everything. When i checked for council tax, installation of internet, cable TV, electricity and water, i found that the post code doesn't exists as it is new property. When i contacted agent that how do i do all this installation without post code and it will be hassle to do it by myself, they gave me another third party number for all this. I wasted my whole day calling everyone, but all refused as no post code. I called the agent to help me sort quickly but no response. How can you post and show such property without verifying with all agencies about post code and all details. I have wasted my whole week for all this procedure but to know at the end they have not given all information and misled customer. Post code may be updated in few weeks or months but i have to go through all this trouble which is unnecessary in my busy schedule. I may not have rent this if i have known about post code, which they didn't inform me (or they are not aware of). If this is situation before even shifting i don't know what will happen after i shift. May be these are standard norms to do it yourself but as i am new here i don't want to go through all this confusion.

Not sure there could be a worse letting agent out there, these guys are modern day highway robbers, charging you unnecessarily for anything and everything which wouldn't even be so bad if they could actually offer assistance for it but they don't, they take weeks go get round to emergency works. My advice - rent from ANYONE else apart from these.

Awful agency. They don't repair things (one year I'm paying the rent for a house without heating, nice) if you need anything they never call you back and everyone you speak to give a different answers and info. If you put a complain about neighbours they politely answer that is not their problem like litterally anything else. Avoid.

We have been following up for emergency maintenance work.. with no solution provided for almost a week. Their response being since we have lived with it for 4 day might as well for 2 more days!

Don’t rent from them ever, worst experience and would rather give them 0 stars. They will try to take as much money from you as they can with the smallest of things for ridiculous reasons. We have finally left them and still have to deal with cleaning fees when we left the place after cleaning for a week - as spotless as we could. The whole time we stayed there, there has always been miscommunication with the maintenance of the place - hot water issues and leakage.

All in all, me and my fellow flat mates had a hard time with them.

There are really no words to describe my experience with both Centrick Property Management as well as 7 Capital. A few months ago I have started to notice the layer of slabs on my outdoor terrace was sinking due to a construction error, and I immediately reported it to 7 Capital. I also reported a rat infestation - because I live in front of a park - the rats made their way underneath the terrace through the sunken slab holes and into the building. It has been months and the issue is only getting worse..with both companies just superficially fixing the issue. I have seen no efforts on behalf of Centrick to resolve the vermin issue and a slightly better but still very poor handling of the situation from 7 Capital. Centrick Property Management are simply ignoring my request despite the consequences of having a completely new building infested with vermin. For others that are considering to work with this company, please think twice.

Great service - until you sign for the property. Internal communication is shocking, the organisation of the agency is awful, and the customer service is worse.

Property given to us in no fit state, carpets not replaced or oven door still smashed which was agreed to be sorted prior to the tenancy. We waited two weeks to be fixed, we also waited 3 weeks for maintenance to respond regarding a broken hob - by then we fixed ourselves.

All four attempts of inspections throughout tenancy failed by them due to lack of organisation in arranging a new key to be cut.

After 12 months of hassle, we are then charged over £200 for cleaning, after refusing, the amount it now down to almost £100 for 'dust' and 'smears' from cleaning the glass and not buffing it. THIS IS DAY LIGHT ROBBERY.

I've never had such a bad experience with a letting agency, the property was left is a stunning condition to when we moved in - how much longer will they keep ripping people off, there's a real trend in reviews here?!?!

Stay clear if you can.

Terrible company. Avoid. Most expensive letting agent in the world and that's before you've even moved in. Charge you £75 to come out and fix something!

I don't usually write a review, but I need to inform others to avoid this rubbish letting agency.
Centrick have one aim : Rip the customer off. It is probably the most expensive letting agency in the UK.
They are nightmare, they charge you as much as they can.
Not recommended at all.
