Awful service. We’ve been told initially that we will be assessed on a combined income basis where this is always the rule and once the background report returned they said we failed and they assesed on a combined income basis even though we met the requirements. When I had a word with them and once they escalated all of a sudden we’ve been approved. Also for 15 days they were liying about where the keys of the apartment are and they were saying that the key are around some neighbours. Zero communication and awful customer service. They re advertised the apartment without any notice and not even one apology.

As a first time buyer, jack speed really understood that I was someone who would constantly be emailing him or calling his office to get a better understanding of the mortgage documents. I was in close contact with Shennay Jones from Connells during my rental process in the UK. She helped me to understand the letting regulations in the UK along with the rental processes. Renting in the UK for the first time can be quite frustrating when you are new to the country. It is always a good idea to work with someone who is an expert in nativating in such systems where an ordinary person may not be so familiar with.

I haven’t got my deposit £1600 back for nearly 5 months!!! So disappointed! I have contacted them so many times and they always give you some unreasonable excuses to refuse returning the deposit or ignore the call or emails from me. They are liars and so unprofessional, please don’t use this agent!!! Stay away from them!!!!!

Two of my friends along with myself had the worst experience with Connells. They lies about processing your refund. Some of the workers are inconsiderate and hostile. My friend is now experiencing mental health issues due to Connell failing to refund her money. It is indeed hard in this cost of living crisis that customers are being stolen from. Stay away from Connell Birmingham and all Connell establishments
