I recently sold my house through Chadwick Estate Agent, and I can honestly say that I had first class service from start to finish. Rebecca is so helpful and supportive with right advice, and staff in the office are equally helpful. I am very pleased with the service and also with the price, which is reasonable compared to others. Rented a house share for 2 years. A year later since moving out still not received my deposit back. Terrible at replying to emails and I had to pay a full month's rent for the final 2 weeks I was there for my tenancy. Would suggest not renting from these as they said I should get my deposit back from.the tenant who took my place

Having been recommended Chadwick Estate agents, it was the best decision. As soon as I met Rebecca I knew she would have my best interests at heart and help me throughout the whole process. I got above asking price for my house and Rebecca kept me updated and was so friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. It was so nice to have the one person to deal with and made it much easier, rather than some of the other bigger estate agents. I Would definitely recommend Chadwick and much cheaper too!

I am a landlord of 12 years with several properties in the Sheffield area. I have entrusted the management of my properties with Chadwick’s Estate Agents since shortly after they were founded. It has been an excellent partnership and they are I team I can trust in all aspects of property rental. I also think it’s fair to say that my tenants would also agree. Bought a house from these people the contractor they said who is there go to guy for doing homes up before the sale. they bodged our home up to the point of when we was buying they tried leaving pipes hanging out and sockets of walls with no radiators fitted in some rooms and when requested for these to be fixed they stalled, carried on hassling us to get solicitors to move faster even tho our solicitors was waiting on them once we moved in we had leaking pipe works due to incorrect pipe installation. A new boiler that the hot and cold pipe were both attached together so heating worked but no hot water a huge hole above the cupboard could not see this until we felt a breeze, wires from garage cut and never made it save could have been a hazard now me and my wife can not wait to sell this property as its cost us way more to fix the bodge jobs then we intended to do also they were so hard to contact but so eager to get the money for there commission was like contacting the dead but hassled by a pack of wolves.

We are tenants in a property looked after by Chadwicks. I have to be honest and say we have often struggled to get problems addressed, it has very often been all talk and no action, especially when dealing with particular people at Chadwicks. However after waiting over a year for needed work to be done on the property, we finally made progress after speaking with Emma. She not only got everything sorted for us but she did it all in the same day that we spoke to her. We were so impressed by this and really appreciated the care and consideration that she showed us.

Honestly such an incredible establishment. The facilities such as the kitchen and showers are modern and slick, with the former being very spacious. The showers were incredibly convenient, going the extra mile to have dispensers which contained shampoo and shower gel, saving packing space or being a life saver if you forgot something.
The common room was fantastic for our party of 7, whether we were having dinner together or watching a movie. It was a nice, warm and welcoming vibes. The bedrooms were surprising pleasant as they came with double beds, some had en-suites and desks so people could do work. Along with decent storage space to hang and store belongings.
In terms of customer service, we were treated well. An example of this was during the week of our stay, the week got very hot. The next day we woke up to 3 fans which help manage the heat.
In terms of location, it’s perfect. Within a 10 minute walk to the train station and other transportation networks, as well as shops for food and supplies. It’s very convenient.
Even with some minor flaws, such as coming in with no way to produce cool air, or some little things not working. The pros far out way the negatives.
If you want to visit Sheffield, which normally was far more to do when it isn’t affected by Covid-19, it is worth taking a look into The Marples, as I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

Worst agency ever, I'm renting property form this agency for 3 years, i asked to fix my door becose there a big gap between door and wall, in winter it's so cold to live, one year im calling them every 2mont,to ask can they do something about that ,but just a promise, So angry ????????

I rang up initially and spoke to someone about my washing machine as mine had broke, I initially encountered a man who to be quite honest was not helpful at all and said he would get back to me but never did leaving me without a washing machine for a week. I rang back and spoke to a lovely professional girl called Emma, based at the Woodseats store who could not do enough for me and got me a new washing machine delivered and working within four hours! Lovely lady and very responsive - these five stars go to Emma!!!!! Thanks so much you really helped me out!!!

When I arrived to UK, I reserved a student accommodation by ChadWicks. They helped me a lot and they understand my situation as new student and they made my moving flexible (I moved to the accommodation in 2 days). Also, when I moved they took pictures to the small damages inside the room to insure that I will get my deposit when I move out. Thanks for everything.

Purchasing a 2bed flat in handsworth via Chadwick's (biggest mistake ever).
1. Firstly the company try to 'game' the Rightmove alerts system by falsifying the address online. So much so, that the company was confused as to which address the property was.
2. Chadwick's knew I needed to move quickly, aimed a completion date of under 12 weeks.
"The vendor are an investor with many properties and a good solictor in place, 12 weeks is very likely"
3. The property was advertised chain free and empty yet it turned out the vendor had moved back in!! Chadwick's do not keep you informed which has now cost me £1500 in solicitors fees. This is purely due to Chadwick's not keeping me informed of the sellers position. Chadwick's forcing me to crack my solictors whip BECAUSE my solictor was telling me that they heard nothing from the other side!!
4. They never reply to emails and the person dealing with sales is never available. Father Christmas works more days than she does.
5. Spirits on the other side are easier to make contact with. Buyers beware and sellers should avoid at all costs.

Awful company, avoid at all costs. All staff would benefit from a customer service course. They have no regard for tenants and are openly rude and disrespectful. They repeatedly entered our rented property without permission breaching their own contract and even caused damage which they later tried to charge us for! They do not even take their own complaints policy seriously! How they are allowed to continue trading is a mystery. You would be better off burning your money than entrusting it to them. We wouldn't use them again if they paid us! For the sake of your own sanity give them a wide berth.

Avoid at all costs if you don't want your tenant rights to be constantly breached. Then when you approach the subject your told you'll have to talk to someone else who's not in right now. They say they'll call you back but never do. They also have the audacity to contact your guarantor and try to put the scare tactics on them. And it wasn't because I had rent arrears or done anything wrong, worst experience yet.

We are new to private renting and we did a search on line as we wanted to move to a brand new area.
we contacted them over Christmas even though they were closed and Chris the owner went out of his way to meet us to view the property and once we agreed to taking the property , the process was straight forward and very easy as they did all the work for us from start to finish.
We also moved into the property over the Christmas break, the property location was brilliant and also the property was in a really good condition.
For anyone who is looking for a fresh start within this area I would recommend 4you Sales and Lettings as they care about there tenants and offer a very high standard of service.
