I have recently bought my first property through blundells and the service was excellent!! Coming into the final few stages we had an issue with communications with the solicitors but Georgia was very transparent and honest and took the matters into her own hands. She gave me updates near enough every day and most importantly she was honest with me gave me all the right advice. Rishi the partnered mortgage advisor again was very transparent and honest, telling me what is and isn’t worth going for always showing the best options and giving the best advice and just being honest with me. They even gave me a little moving in care package which was such a lovely little gesture!
Big thankyou to all the team at blundells would definitely recommend wether your a first time buyer or just looking for another property. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Absolutely shocking.
Both companies including talbots law and Blundells have taken over 9 months to “try” and put through a a property which shouldn’t have taken this long.
The process was so long that we had to get an extension on our mortgage offer due to incompetencies within the business.
Everytime it’s down to “we are waiting for a response on enquiries”.
No care in the world about speeding up the process or what impact this may have on anyone.
Solicitors are ringing and advising they have done stuff when they haven’t.
I would never recommend this company and if you do use them, good luck to you.
Within the last week of the extension finishing, the solicitors request more documentation which has already been provided but they are far too lazy to go back and check.
As soon as Blundells pass the reigns over to the solicitors, they act like they have no involvement and communicate with you once in a blue moon! They bombard you at the beginning to get the sale, and as soon as it’s passed the first stage, there’s no sign of Blundells.
They expect you to do all the running and chasing knowing full well what problems people are having.
They pretend they are doing stuff in the background and “chasing” things, when all they do is waste time!
I wouldn’t have even given them a 1 star, they’re not on the list to have any stars what so ever.

We had a viewing booked for a property that we were really keen on. On the day of the viewing I realised the house was marked as “sold” without them even letting us know.
When I called them, they said our viewing was not showing on the system due to human error.
We have dealt with several estate agents over the last few months and never had an issue.
Blundells is unprofessional and unreliable. I would not use them for anything.

I recently visited the Blundells office to discuss my property search. I have never received such a warm welcome. I was greeted with smiles and offered a drink straight away (Nice cold bottle of water, great touch) they were so thorough with finding out exactly the type of property I need but more importantly why I am moving. Not one other estate agent I visited that day asked the purposes of my move. They booked me in to see two properties and have been keeping in contact with me since. Highly recommend them to help you sell or find your home!

I booked a viewing and turned up at the property five minutes before the allotted appointment. There was also someone else there who had come to view the property. We both waited for 15 minutes after our appointment was due, but nobody turned up. There was no call to say that the agent was running late and no apology has been received. This is not only very unprofessional but downright rude. No consideration has been given to the fact that people have had to take time off work to attend. I hope the that vendors read this review and consider not using Blundells as their agent.

Avoid at all costs. After my mum had months of waiting for call backs that never happened, poor communication, and terrible professionalism doing it all by herself she sadly passed away unexpectedly. The house would have been sold a few weeks before she passed if it wasn't for the staff losing paper work and a lack of communication on their part aswell as their terrible advice for their own conveyancing service (which I would also avoid). I cannot express enough how terrible the service has been and the feeling of them needing to keep the ball rolling after she passed so they could get their share of the money at the end.

I lived in a development for 1 year managed by Annette at blundells woodseats. There was always at least a 2 week wait for an email reply but the main issue was they showed someone around my flat without informing me. They said there had been a failure in their automated text message system but in my opinion it was simply unacceptable. Other people at my complex had similar problems. For other viewing they made contact via phone not text so feel the line about failure of automated system is not likely true. Had issues after check out regarding items they claimed were in the flat but weren't on inventory. Eventually did get my deposit back but not impressed.

We had to deal with two departments within Blundells. The lettings department (Alice and Sam) and the maintenance department (Annette).
There was a tenant that was in arrears and had to vacate the property. One this was achieved Annette worked very hard to get the property cleaned up ready for viewing by prospective tenants.
Alice and Sam also worked very hard to show new tenants around and managed to keep the void period down to a minimum.

Blundells were very good in acting for us on the sale of our property in Meersbrook this August.As seems to be the case nothing goes smoothly but Blundells were always on top of matters offering advice and reassurance.From the initial valuation through to completion they were very professional .The initial inspection and production of the brochure and managing the sale process was very professional. This included a virtual tour which was a useful tool in that process.Managing the offers made was also very efficient.
In particular Janet Stevenson was very pro-active in chasing up solicitors and the purchasers Estate agent and advisors and importantly kept us informed on a regular basis exactlly where we were in the process.
When Janet was unavailable others took up the mantle and were equally proficient.

Keep away if you are renting. Blundells (Woodseats) operate as a front for landlords, and they do not care one bit about the tenant.
1. They have just one person in charge of managing letting for the entire area. This means you are always talking to the voicemail, and never getting replies on time. Shows how serious they are about renting.
2. They behave as if they are entitled to your custom, and will not even try to work with you for things as trivial as deciding when and how you can move in, or how the keys would be handed over. They have rules for every small ritual that you the tenant is expected to abide. I have no idea how they manage to make a profit, if they do at all.
3. Their £400 fee is very uncompetitive and you do not get anything back in return. We asked for a standard clause to be added to the contract, and they forfeited the fee because they wouldn't add it. I will see them in small claims, but that's another story. In any case, I was happy to see the back of them after I finally rented elsewhere, even if that meant losing the fee at that time.

We had a very good experience with Blundells Woodseats. Our negotiator was very helpful and just the loveliest person (Jackie Chambers). The sale and purchase all became very fraught (not Blundells' fault in the slightest) but Blundells did all that they could for us and got us over the finishing line. We also think they helped us to get the best possible price for our house and that it was probably higher than we would have got with other agents.

My previous experience with letting agents has been very poor. However Blundells, Woodseats have restored my faith that there are good Letting agents out there. They were exceptional, they did everything they possibly could do to help us get moved in as soon as possible. Did relatively well in the scale of estate agents. Got stuck in that middle ground between wanting to be involved all the time and not wanting to be a pain. This meant they were always calling/emailing to try and chase the next step in the process, but never up to date enough to understand what might be delaying the process, even when both sets of solicitors and both vendor and purchaser were fully aware.
