Not a fan of Connollys. Had an experience of buying through them, which wasn’t great. Also recently had an experience where a loved one was renting through them (who has recently passed away). It seems like there has been a lot of miscommunication with them and the landlord, which has resulted in Connollys demanding money from us (my husband was a guarantor for his Aunt, who has recently passed away). The staff are very rude and I would definitely not recommend anyone to use them

I have just looked on Connollys website and am astonished at the bad reviews on here! I have used Connollys for a few years to buy and to let out property and have found them to be a top firm and all my business has been 10/10 and any problems sorted out quickly and professionally.

Rented a new build one bed flat down Lampits hill for 6 months and couldn’t wait to get out. Connellys are extremely useless and unhelpful. Never bothered when we had a problem in the property and only worry about taking your money. The flat was falling apart from the second month of living there and extreamly over priced!!! Height would NOT recommend them.

I can't give this company less stars unfortunately. The agent Steve from Connallys sold us a new build property through Keepmoat the builders, he gave us the usual BS about the quality of the build and how the builder was a reputable company....what a complete joke......a year and a half on and we are still having issues!
The builder has used plastic bags and cardboard for building material. Windows are not fitted properly, kitchen had been replaced and the issues continue to add up.
Connellys took their commission and were not interested when we raised the issues to them, after an "internal investigation" they found we were given all the information.
Connellys have a duty of care to ensure what they market is the same as the final product they are selling.
Oh and the price of the property strangely increased by 25k from the initial price list we received, "we made a mistake on the price", what was your commission Steve!!!!??????
Avoid at all cost....use another eatate agent!!!!!

My husband and I start using connollys in 2014. They were very helpful and flexible upon taking out our new tenancy. Inspections were completed every 6 months.
However upon moving out of the property recently we made sure we had done more than required to put the property back to a high standard. We had already replaced carpets and made improvements we also touched up all walls with paint and cleaned throughout. When it came to handing the keys back we were handed an exit inspection with an endless list of 'issues' my husband and I therefore compared original inspection paperwork to the recent paperwork and low and behold all issues were from when we first moved in. The house was in far much better condition when we left than when we arrived. Such unprofessional behaviour from a large letting agents and not even so much as an apology for not looking at the original inventory before completing the exit inspection.
To think if we hadn't of had that paperwork from moving in they would have deducted money from our deposit! Absolutely disgusted and would not let from this agent again! Seem ok when taking your money but not so quick to give it back. We were good long standing tenants for 3 years and to be treated this way was very stressful and upsetting.
