Neighbouring property had an issue leading to my garden flooding. Contacted Corbin and Co on Wimbourne Road, asking for the issue to be fixed and politely asking that no one was to go on my property whilst I wasn’t there. Lisa Pearce stated Contractor was due to arrive on a Saturday morning and to confirm, someone would be there! Confirmed, I would be there but the contractor didn’t show. I was emailed by Lisa on the Monday stating the contractor couldn’t make it and would go to the property on the Tuesday. Again, the contractor didn’t arrive. Contractor arrived on Wednesday, coming over the fence via ladder and damaging apart of my property and next door’s property. Contacted Lisa again regarding the trespassing and ignoring my request. She replied ‘ apologise for any inconvenience this has caused’. An email has been sent back to Lisa with no reply. No regard has been taken for my property and the contractor took it upon himself to trespass on my property! The apology given is not accepted!

My partner and I bought a house through Corbin and Co this year. We have been very impressed with the service delivered throughout the whole process from start to end. We worked mostly with Kyall, who was brilliant, very professional and friendly, as was the rest of the team. There were some delays higher up in our chain which caused us some stress and anxiety however the team were in constant communication with us throughout, providing regular updates and reassurance which made the process easier. Very sneaky estate agents. Viewed a fair few properties with Corbin, the best one by far was a bungalow that had a half finished extension, wires hanging out of walls, loft hatch not finished etc. No mention what so ever in the add. Most agents are fine with you taking pictures (it's the norm for buyers to take pictures) but the bungalow I mentioned above I was being shown around by Kyall who had a no picture policy and poor attitude from the get go.
All pictures with this estate agents are made to look alot bigger then they are and when putting in offers it takes days to get replies.
Any listings we now see moving forward, if they are from Corbin we avoid!

I’ve had direct experience of a good few letting agents over the past 10+ years across 2 UK locations and in short, the average in my experience remains depressingly poor. If you can find a good one stick with them as they are rare. Corbin & Co in my experience is one of the rare good ones. Kyall and the team at Corbin couldn’t have done more for us. We purchased our current home with them 5 years ago and seemed right to also sell with them. Corbin marketed the property well and within a single viewing got us an offer and a buyer. We were also fortunate enough that Corbin had a property that met our criteria for our onward purchase which has made it all allot easier dealing with a sole agent.
The team in the office have great communication and will always offer prompts responses to queries or issues raised along the way from purchase to completion.

Today I had got doubtful pleasure to speak with Debbie from Corbin & Co regarding the leakage in the flat below mine and feel really sorry for the people who needs to deal with the similar type of behavior and approach on more regular basis.
Without investigating the problem, the agent jumped to conclusion that the issue is caused by the problem occurring in my flat (I have just confirmed with a plumber that it was caused by uptight exterior elevation, the area a leaser is responsible for) and in a rude, harassing and aggressive manner tried to force me to take the action instead of her/her client/tenants (she lied that our neighbor could not be making the phones, as she had gone to work - surprise, surprise, I spoke with her a few times after receiving that information) by checking the condition of others flats, calling the plumber, maintenance company, etc. (obviously, I investigated my flat for the signs of seepage and close a water vault).
After being informed that was not my responsibility to take this steps (as far as I know the letting agents are paid to resolve the problems on behalf of their customers), I was THREATENED with the liability for the losses incurred in the flat below, and repeatedly she tried to make me believe that I should have been resolving the leakage which WAS NOT CAUSED BY ME and HAPPENED NOT IN MY FLAT. As the dessert, I was send a TEXT MESSAGE with the similar THREATS.
I do not remember when was a last time I spoke with a so LAZY, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL representative of a self-respective company. If what I experienced today was a sample of how they treat their customers, I would advise to AVOID THEM at all cost.

Recently sold a property through the Corbin and co Kinson office. Our original dealings were with Matthew
and as a result of this initial meeting we were happy with the valuation and fees. Matthew appeared knowledgeable about the local market and we felt he would do a good job, so chose them over two competing local Estate Agents .
The property was marketed and as it was vacant possession the viewings were done by Corbin and co. We then began dealing with Kyall who regularly updated us re viewings and soon the property was under offer. Although this subsequently fell through it was not long before it was under offer again.
The property sold was not our main residence which for us made the process less stressful but if selling in the local area, we would not hesitate to use Corbin and co again.
Both Matthew and Kyall were professional and personable which assisted in a pleasant transaction.

Never used Corbin estate agent before but i will definitely use them again. Matt turned up to initially view the property just as we were going into first lockdown. They were no cliché sale tactics, just honest truth about the market and where we were at that time. It was a roller coaster ride mainly due to the pandemic but Matt and Kyle were absolutely brilliant the whole time and always kept me in the loop with frequent phone calls. I cant recommend them enough and in my view are the best estate agents I've ever dealt with.

We have used Corbin & Co before to sell our previous home so we were happy to use them again. From start to finish the service was exceptional, Matthew came to take the photographs, which were of a very high standard and our home went live on the net within a couple of days. We had a very high volume of interest and the guys did a brilliant job of doing block viewings to make our lives easier… once we accepted a offer, Corbins were very good keeping the chain in check which is something I have never found with any other agent… we thought we would miss out on the stamp duty holiday but not with our solicitor and Corbins together, from accepting our offer to completion was five weeks!! They put it up for sale with a good write-up and photos, kept me well informed when there was interest, when viewings were taking place AND called me afterwards to say how they went. We had many challenges with this sale because of the covid lockdown, then when the sale was imminent, it had to be put on hold while we waited for probate to be granted. We sold our house recently with corbins. I considered 3 agents, Corbins, one other local agent and a national company. Considerarions being, cost and value for money, professional attitude, customer reviews. Corbins had a good balance of these issues so we chose corbins. Friendly and professional but not over familiar. The 3 members of the sales team attended to acquaint themselves with the property. When a viewing was booked we left it to them and made ourselves scarce. Went out or gave them a key so that they could let themselves in and meet the viewer.
There were weeks where we didn't have a viewing which although was a little worrying, no fault of theirs. We didn't want them to get people through the door for the sake of viewing numbers. They predicted issues and when they came up were ready to deal. We rejected an offer then some time later had an offer from another couple. They negotiated well on our behalf and achieved a good price. It took 4 months to get a buyer another 4 months to complete. They really earn their fee though with the work completed following receipt of the offer. Work you don't see or necessarily hear about, liaising with the people in the chain, solicitors, financial advisor etc. That husbandry is priceless because they can communicate (and did) your wishes where you or your solicitor cannot. It was because I predicted this agent involvement we didn't choose an online agent like PB. Which, although at a fraction of the price, chances are we would have lost the buyers. Overall, very happy with their service through difficult times of the coronavirus. We have no hesitation to and do recommend them to people we know who are considering selling. Thank you

I have used several other agents in the past and it's a refreshing change with Corbin and Co. to see they are actively working for you; as a landlord living 300 miles away reliability and trust are essential requirements. I first came across Corbin and co when I bought my first flat 5 year ago, very friendly and very efficient team. A few months ago I sold my flat through one of these 'pay a flat fee' estate agents and looked to buy a house. I contacted Corbin and co to alert me to properties that they had on the books and we eventually bought our house through Corbin and co. I was so grateful to them as my estate agent was so useless. You get no help from a 'flat fee' estate agent, I would always now use Corbin and co. My buyer was letting my flat through Corbin and co so they really took ownership and dealt with everything in regards to sale of my flat even though this didn't fall to them and they weren't being paid by me. I couldn't believe how accommodating and helpful all the team were in particular Debbie who dealt with my meltdowns when things ended up delayed and was always forthcoming with information without me having to chase. Though I hope to not move now for a few years, Corbin and co will be first on my list for both sale and purchase of any new home! Highly recommended!

Absolutely appalling service, we needed our buyer to commit to a move date, we needed to know in order to purchase a park home and inform work we were leaving, as he wouldn't commit to one,we had to come up with dates ourselves, when these dates were put to Alison she basically flipped and made judgements and accusations that were completely untrue and unjust, we haven't finished our sale and move yet and are horrified we have now no choice but to deal with someone like this to complete! Good luck if you use her.
