At first, everything seemed promising, my partner and I found a flat we loved, paid the deposit, and were told we could move in within a month. But that month turned into two, and eventually six. During this time, Coultons held our deposit, which we were okay with, as long as we could eventually move into the flat.
However, after six months, they returned our deposit, claiming the landlord wasn’t renting out the flat anymore. To our surprise, the flat was relisted on their website and later rented out to someone else.
We’ve tried to get answers through emails and by visiting the office in person, but we’ve been ignored. It’s been nearly a year, and I still haven’t received a response to my email. Judging by other reviews, we aren’t the only ones this has happened to. When we asked Coultons to help us find another flat, they completely ghosted us. It’s incredibly frustrating, and we just want answers.

My process took well over a year with every drawback possible! We had multiple collapses throughout the chain and during this time Roberto was consistent in delivering the next solution.
In the end Roberto managed to find us a house a week after our seller removed their property from the market. Which was within our budget, preferred area and specification. He was constantly professional, reliable and always available for an update over the phone.
We got the keys this week and we're extremely grateful for all the support you've provided in this extremely long journey haha!

Sad excuse for an estate agents, called regarding delays to view a property, a member of staff was rude, I made a complaint, 4 weeks ago, 4 weeks later still nothing, the manager has not responded. On top of this ignoring my several request to view a house. I will be escalating this externally regarding their discriminative and oppressive behaviour. Please avoid. For sellers just beaware, they could be preventing potential buyers viewing your property. Disgusting behaviour and unprofessional

We recently sold our house in Garfield road with Coultons. It has been a very challenging period with the market , however I can not thank Roberto Falzone enough for his professionalism, local knowledge of the market.
We sold really quickly within a month, however it fell through. We put it back on the market and it was sold again within 10 days thanks to Roberto and the fantastic team at Coultons.

I approached Coultons in Chingford after 2 failed attemps by another agency to sell my property. John was great from the word go with his clear and sound advice. I never felt I was receiving a sales pitch. He was very knowledgeable, personable and gave me the feeling I could trust him! Then Roberto was managing my sale and he was incredibly professional. Viewings were organised promptly and hassle free for me. They work as a team so when I had the need to contact them, I could speak to either without having to start from the beginning. Because of the previous disappointments. I was worried and I think I made more contact than necessary buy I always had a very friendly and reassuring but honest response.
Now after a nail biting almost three months, I am about to complete the sale and ready for a very welcoming relocation/early retirement. Thank you Roberto and John you were incredibly helpful.

We were very lucky to have found our dream home through Coultons. We had been in the market looking for our first home for about a year, and even had offers accepted on three other properties (through other estate agents) before being gazumped EACH time, so we were beginning to lose hope.
But then out of nowhere we found coultons. Roberto was very friendly and genuine, and the first estate agent we came across that did not feel like most of the 'typical' estate agents. There was no rush during the viewing, and he gave us the time to take everything in, and answer all our questions.
We put in an offer as soon as we got home, and three and a half months later we have moved in, all thanks to them. They were the first estate agent to take down the listing after our offer was accepted, and were always extremely quick in communicating with us and the sellers, as well as the solicitors, which I why everything went so smoothly.
If there ever comes a time when we're back in the market, we no exactly where we will be listing. Many thanks, Coultons.

Coultons are responsive, available and clearly care about what they are doing.

We have dealt with Coultons for almost two years, using their fully managed service for one of our rental properties. We are fortunate enough to have another rental property outside Coultons’ area so this enables us to compare the two agents/service.
Coultons compare very favourably. They are professional, know their area inside out, and manage the rental very well. All the pressure is taken off the landlord, with the tenancy being dealt with directly by Coultons. They are responsive to the needs of the tenants, ensuring that any maintenance or contractual issues are managed promptly. However, we feel that the interests of the landlord are also fully considered and protected.

These guys were amazing taking us through the process of selling our old house and buying our new one and they made everything so straight forward. Paolo came round and gave us great advice on getting the house ready for photos and viewings, and organised a fabulous photographer too. Then Tracy took over the reigns and held our hands through every step of the way and coordinated everything between ourselves, our solicitor, our buyers and their solicitor and the seller and their estate agent and solicitor. From listing our house in October 2020 we moved into our new home in February 2021 - an amazing turnaround and we could not have done this without them - we were not aware but these days they do so much more than just listing the house for sale. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

wish to write a review about the Coultons team. We have marketed our house with them for the past few months and we are in the final stages of sale. The whole experience has been fantastic. From the daunting process of having agents around to see the property, Gina arrived and blew all of the others out of the water with her knowledge, intellect, personality, energy and capability. We had heard good things about Coultons and the other agencies seemed lazy in comparison. Coultons market price was more accurate. It was the only local high street agency we would have gone to, in the end.
Once we agreed to go with Coultons, the admin side of things was crystal clear and easy to contract. Coultons good high street location and branding is I believe attractive to potential buyers. They paid for a professional photographer for the house shots and the photos are amazing.
The process for viewings is great and communication flows easily. It is a good tight team and they clearly work well together. Gina, Charlie and Paolo ensure you get a great service and they want to ensure you don't just snap up the first offer, they want you to get the right price and buyer for the property.
Most importantly of all we trust Coultons. Honesty and integrity is everything in business and they have plenty of integrity and honesty which is why I am sure their business will grow and grow.
