My partner and I had nothing but bad experiences from Crook & Blight. We were desperate to get into the property we had been accepted as my partner has a very important surgery in a week and we wanted to be in our first property together. However, Crook & Blight did absolutely everything to prevent this from happening. They were very poor with their communication, they had every excuse under the sun for not letting us in which included staff having annual leave and basic gas and electric checks not being certified which meant they couldn’t guarantee the properties safety even though we had already agreed to move. We pushed them to the point where we said we would clean the property ourselves instead of the landlord hiring a professional cleaner but even then there was no movement. We were then told the landlord has rescinded our application and that we would no longer move in. My partner and I are both autistic and this was particularly distressing as well as the lack of support from the estate agents to help us find a home pre surgery. I would recommend you stay as far away from Crook & Blight as possible.... Read more

I was asked to previously write a review after the viewing but we have been left extremely disappointed by the poor communication shown by Crook and Blight. We have been given every excuse on why we couldn't move into the empty house we had been accepted for with reasons including that Alice had annual leave booked, the landlord isn't replying to emails to book for an inventory or legal checks for gas and electricity. We had been asking time and time again for a time frame on when this would be done as I have a Double Mastectomy Surgery this month. Even after all the hassle we told them we are still willing to wait and try arrange the checks so that my partner and I could be together during recovery. Cancelling us moving into the property last minute was very upsetting to us both as we have Austim. You have wasted our time with the multiple viewings we have gone to, measuring spaces, saving furniture for our first rental together. You have shown absolutely no care for our situation....
