We recently purchased a new house, supposedly, through Cundalls, sadly I would hope we never have to use or rely on them in any way ever again. Initial online contact to obtain details produced no reply - we had to make a personnel call into their office to get this information with a poor internal reason given. As the new build progressed we had absolutely no contact what ever to keep us informed at any time. If it wasn't for our personnel contact with the builder we would still be awaiting this estate agent for any contact. We sincerely hope that they have not charged the developer for their totally inadequate service. (Unfortunately we have had to give one, undeserved, star in order to post this review)

After being recommended by a friend, I have asked Cundalls at Malton to market two of my properties in the past 3 years. Andrew Wood heads up this branch and is a partner with the company.
Andrew is careful to accurately value a property with knowledge of regional prices and National pricing trends. On both occasions he has accompanied the majority of the potential buyers. I have found him to be professional, knowledgable, approachable, attentive and focused. His easy going style with customers (both buyers and sellers) is his strength and that combined with his knowledge of the wider North and East Yorkshire area makes him and Cundalls the best Estate Agent I have found.
When I have called the office, the staff always offered excellent service. They seem to always know the finer details of every house they sell. Georgie has accompanied viewings and has a good knowledge of the properties on their books and the area and she is always polite and helpful too. Caroline is always polite and always helpful with a 'can do' attitude.
I whole heartedly recommend Andrew and Cundalls to anyone thinking of selling their property.

We purchased our property from Cundalls in Malton and from our first phone call to completion we were very happy with the service. In particular we appreciated the help and support of Andrew Wood throughout our purchase process. He was professional, courteous and helpful in a way that reduced the stress of our house move.
Our move was from another part of the UK with a different legal system so the English conveyancing process was a new process for us.
Andrew kept us fully informed throughout, reassured us when there were delays and diplomatically helped move along any slower parts of the conveyancing process as needed. His excellent communication skills and kind, thoughtful manner were very much appreciated.
While viewing properties across the UK over some months, we had some less than favourable experiences with other agents so we were pleased to have purchased our property from an Estate agent who demonstrated that they did ‘Provide a service to both buyers and sellers consistent with fairness, integrity and best practice’ .
