I want to view a property 8 miles away. I'm disabled but can walk with a walker I do not have a car. Cundals response was we can't help you.... It's not what we do!
So I can't view this property unless I pay £40 for a taxi.
Just yet another act of discrimination. Very disappointing

Having sold our house approx 1 year ago in lockdown , moved into a rental property for approx 7 months and then purchasing our new house in June this year all through Cundalls agents in the Pickering & Malton offices, i have to say that the staff at Cundalls were exceptional and faultless in their professionalism and delivery of service and a pleasure to deal with. Special mention has to go to Judith & Amanda in the Pickering office for helping sell our old property and for being instrumental in securing our new property, without their help we would still be looking for a new home and also special mention to Vicky in the Malton office for arranging our interim rental property. Credit where credit is due and in my opinion the staff at Cundalls set the standard for others to try to achieve and i look forward to dealing with Cundalls in the future.

Lady in the shop sat with her coat on and rolled her eyes when we walked in! A customer came in and dominated the whole conversation and sat chatting when I wanted to ask a quick question! Avoid

I purchased my property through Cundalls, completing in Oct 2020. Judtih was incredibly responsive and pulled out the stops on multiple occasions to speed things up and get the purchase back on track. Recomend very highly.

Having recently sold my cottage through the Cundalls office, Pickering I feel compelled to thank them publically for the excellent service I received from start the finish. The agent, Judith Simpson who visited and valued my property was honest, polite and straight talking and I knew immediately I would be in the right hands selling my house through Cundalls. She kept me informed at every stage of the process, going out of her way to ensure I was completely satisfied with the property photos, description and viewings. I felt their service was highly professional and uniquely communicative (amongst other local estate agents). Having sold my property in just 6 weeks I could not have asked for more, many thanks indeed!

I found the staff to be very economical with the truth and manipulative. I was a potential buyer and the interactions I had with them left my no doubts about whose interest they served - their own. Buyers and Vendors alike beware!
If I had to sell my house with them I would be very nervous about what they would say and do. They manipulated offers by both advising the buyer of the vendors low price, encouraging offers when they knew the vendor had already accepted an offer, advising that the vendor had gone with another offer because that was a cash sale - only to ring up weeks later to say the "chain" had fallen through and would we reconsider putting an offer in.
