Diamond estate agents in Tiverton are the best. It has taken me 2 years to move to Tiverton and Diamond estate agents have been with me the whole way and guided me through some very difficult times. Diamonds were the only agents to contact me on a regular bases, and personally interact with me, yes I had the 2 monthly catch up from the others, but Diamonds treated me as a friend.

What can one say regarding Diamond Estate Agents!,
Absolutely excellent!, myself and my partner where given a section 21 notice last year after renting a place for 11 years greedy landlord wanting more money for the house, being self employed and still trying to recover from the covid situation we found ourselves in the position of passing affordability checks very difficult and no other letting agent in Tiverton would help or even consider us, Diamond on the other hand went above and beyond to help us through all the hoops that needed to be jumped through and found us a house to move to, we have now once again with there help moved to a property that our family is now settled in, if it wasn't for there help and understanding we would more than likely still be in a house with a landlord that has no morals or respect for what he has put us through, I can't thank Mark, Mel, and Alice enough for there help and support over the past year and would highly recommend them to anyone, so if your struggling and need an agent that Is willing to help and understand your needs Diamond Estate Agents is the one to try.

We’ve dealt with other estate agents as both my partner and I had properties to sort. However Diamond handled my property let with urgency, care, and the attention I received was fantastic. Compared to my partner, whose estate agent was out of town, it was a very obvious difference in quality, effort and attention to details. Diamond have been fantastic at every level. I am Genuinely not one to leave reviews, but these guys deserve it for how well they all work as a team, and how cohesive our experience has been, with them managing my property to rent, as well as us renting one through them too. I've had a very good experience with Diamond Lettings Agency. They have been the lettings agent on my deceased parents' house for the past two years. Their service has been very professional and reliable and the process of finding and screening a tenant was clearly explained and done very well. We get regular reports on visits to the property and they proactively keep on top of any issues that crop up at the property (wear and tear, etc). I must mention the exceptional support we received from Mark. He had previously had a very good relationship with my mother around a separate property and was very thoughtful when both my parents' health started to fail. When they both passed away within a few months of each other, Mark was very supportive and went out of his way to take care of everything and explain our options with genuine care. They have managed the property efficiently, which gave us peace of mind during a really challenging time. Communication has generally been timely, clear and responsive. I would definitely recommend them. Touch wood - our property letting experience has been plain sailing so far with Diamond's help.

I have dealt with Diamond for a few years now and have always found them to be polite and courteous. Property inspections are carried out at regular intervals and tenants report that they are given adequate notice when these are undertaken. New tenants are vetted to a high standard to ensure suitability for the tenancy. Giving them a five star rating is not enough it should more !!!

Exceptional Lettings Management.
Fantastic value for money for full management service. The team are really friendly and personable. Nothing is too much trouble with regards to queries, property ticks along nicely - all the correct inspections and certification in place without having to ever chase up.
Always keep us abreast of any maintenance issues and get reasonably priced but decent contractors in promptly to get things sorted and keep tenants satisfied.
Everyone is easily contactable if you need to discuss something urgently on the phone or by email.
Really smooth transition between tenancies and found very good tenants for us every time it comes up for renewal.
And if you do have an issue with a tenant - because there always will be something occasionally - you can trust that it will be dealt with sensitively and professionally.

Poor service .
Put our house on the market with this guy after a recommendation from one of his reatives Communication was very poor, little or no contact over 4 months unless prompted by us. Very inexperienced is my guess. I have owned and sold 11 properties in my lifetime used estate agents, not had an experience quite like this. He just would not listen. We asked many times for updates of the market place etc. it is a challenging time for everone, communication is vital. We were told, 'I have nothing to tell you, you don't want me calling every 5 minutes' (yes we do!) maybe not that frequently though.. When we said we were leaving his company and gave notice, only then did we get phone calls, too late, he was quite irrate, leaving a string of long messages extolling his own virtues...Sorry Mark we have wasted 4 months...

Since taking over as the agent of the flat I was with them for a year roughly. Any issues they were prompt in sorting. Communications were also quick and kept me updated on anything as and when it was required.

Should we ever look to move again, we won't even view a property that is listed by this firm.
If you sell through them, beware because they will discourage potential buyers through aggressive and threatening behaviour, and if you are a buyer they will treat you like the muck they wipe off of their shoes.
In this case, we were buyers and we were treated incredibly poorly by some of the people here, in particular Mark Farrell who is apparently the Managing Director. When we complained about a particular aspect of his behaviour and he refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, the firm saw fit to escalate the complaint to his wife. They are absolute clowns.
The root cause was that no one communicates with each other, and Mark in particular jumps to conclusions without bothering to gather the pertinent facts. No one deserves to be treated the way that he treated my partner.
Sellers should note that Marks behaviour slowed our purchase by 2-3 weeks because even when proceedable, we were seriously considering pulling out of the purchase to avoid having to deal with this firm.
After deciding to proceed, we were unfortunately let down twice by surveyors, leading to a survey being completed much later that intended. From the day that the survey took place, the firm were constantly calling and emailing to ask about completion dates, sometimes multiple times a day, which in my opinion was bordering on harassment. It should be noted also that even before that the firm were contacting us at least once a week because our solicitors had ceased communication with them due to the number of times they would ring.
Please avoid using this firm, it'll be much better for your blood pressure.

Really glad we chose to sell our house with Diamond, and couldn't recommend them more highly.
Mark gave me some helpful advice to ensure that my property was presented in the best possible way, and after listing it they immediately found me a buyer at a price i was pleased with.
That was only the beginning, with Jane then proceeding to work tirelessly on chasing up the agents and solicitors for our purchase. There were some complications with it, and I must say that the estate agents responsible for it (not Diamond) seemed somewhat indifferent to its progress. I sincerely believe that it would not have gotten over the line without Diamond's input, and we're very grateful to them for making it happen...

Everyone in the team was on the ball and up to date with my purchase. Thank you to Mark, Nick and Abbie. And a huge thank you to Jane.
Jane showed persistence, optimism and support even when another obstacle inevitably popped up. She has the ability and experience to find a way round a problem and move everything forward. She was the lynch pin in this deal. Constantly liaising with the other solicitors, estate agents and vendors, and feeding back to me.
If only all agents were like this it would help to smooth out the problems of chain purchases. Other agents take note!

Mark, his team and Alice are fantastic! We went through diamond estate agent for rental and had nothing but great service, always prompt on inspections, helpful and easy to talk to.
I've felt the need to leave my review after poor experience with another estate agent, looking at how they run and work from a landlords perspective... Diamond on the other hand handles both sides well, I would be more than happy to buy a property through them or even have a property managed by mark and his team if ever the case.
I would like to say thank you diamond estate, for the experience we recieved and if we ever need to come through your agency again, I would without a shadow of a doubt!

Diamond sold my property for me and from first meeting Nick I was immediately struck by their professionalism and local knowledge but most of all their empathy and understanding. The road to final sale was quite a long, bumpy one due to the pandemic but I never lost belief that Mark and his team were a 'safe pair of hands'. They are a local, family business and all the team have a customer focus, be it vendor or buyer, and manage to navigate the two with a very human face. The efficiency of Lyn, kindness of Jayne and overall support of Mark, Charlotte and Nick couldn't take out the stress from the proceedings, but certainly alleviated it - right down to the recommendation of a good children's book to help my 3 and 5 year old understand what was happening. Topsy and Tim Move House has been read many times. I currently can't ever imagine wanting to move house again but when I do, it will be Diamond I call.

Just had a valuation from Mark, one of the directors. Amazing service, practical advice very fair valuation. Situation is bit difficult selling our long term family home due to health issue. Hes was very sympathetic and took time explaining things to my Dad who struggles with this kind of thing.
I would recommend them to anyone. Listed house with him today, dont think we get a better service from anyone else. Highly highly suggest meeting with them to see what they have to offer xxx
