Why? They will over price your property rent. However, most do that then naturally one would have to haggle them down.
Not sure if there is a landlord as it might be themselves pretending there is one! And if there is a landlord the landlord has no idea what these guys do!!!!!
You have your contract fees which you pay every month.
But then they try and scam all there clients with made up fees!
Theses are normally around £40 they say it's for water and heating. However that is covered in your contract fees!!!!!!
They pocket these fee if you don't pay it and tell them you will only pay what's on the contract then they can't do anything.
If your building has parking and they also want that payment separate from your contact that is also a scam!!!!!!!
Don't fall victim to these guys.
If you have paid them these fees for years then get that money back. Take them to court if you must. However, don't let them get away with this bad practices!!!!!!... Read more

Luke has been incredible from arranging papers for the flat in 2 days (without me even needing to view the property due to the pretty accurate video viewing sent over) to sorting out any issue's I've had in between for the property ASAP. I've been living there for the past 10/11 months now and both Luke and Monique have been prompt and always happy to help. Hello, me and my family rented the apartment through Eight8 Property.
When we just came to the apartment, our bed was broken, heating system did not work, washing machine was older than our grandparents and did not work in the proper way. Even a cooker burnt out a week later. That was a complete disaster.
My was not happy.
The reason why I am giving 5* to Eight8 Property is that from my point of view everybody can do mistakes. The technique sometimes can be broken as well, but the fact that Eight8 Property
- Fixed our cooking machine
- Provided us a brand new washing machine
- Helped us with slabs for bed
Is the reason why I put 5*. Service is really nice and even if these guys can fail.in the beginning they will do their best to fix everything.... Read more

So far my experience with eight8 has been brilliant.
I found a property for a good price, booked to have a viewing with Luke, who professionally showed me around and answered my questions. Contract signing was quick, key collection was easy, communication was quickly replied to as were any questions. I had moved in within a week. All documents were digital and I can access them freely.
The flat I am in is lovely with minimal fixes needed, however I have yet to use the maintenance portal.

Luke has been great! I initially was highly sceptical upon reading reviews on Google, nevertheless I decided to proceed forward and Luke has been great. Luke responds immediately to questions I had regarding the property, he is highly professional. I was very sceptical viewing a property in the pandemic however upon my arrival Luke ensured he conducted my viewing per the new Covid-19 guidelines he was wearing full PPE including gloves and ensured he didn't compromise my health. Monique is the nicest agent in the world. I moved out before my graduate certificate arrived, and she went to the post office to post it to me for free. During the tenancy, she helped me change a new fridge and bed. I had some bad experience with other agents in eight8 who always ignored my emails. However, Monique, she never ignored my emails. The most terribly disorganized company.
Have been going through the process of trying to move in for 2 weeks with this lady called pippa, but she seems to not know what she’s doing.
She takes days to reply to emails, will promise to call back and never will and as a result I may now not be able to move into my apartment the day I fly back, it would have to be 4 days later
Making me incur yet more accommodation costs apart from the already expensive apartment I’m going to be paying for.

I travelled from London to Birmingham to attend viewings in the city centre... and I had the WORST viewing with a woman named Pippa.
When I arrived for my viewing appointment, I got the coldest reception from the two employees, like we were bothering them.
Pippa didn't even bother to make small talk so there was a lot of awkward silence, she led us through the property like it was a chore, gave us monosyllabic answers and literally refused to look us in the eye.
I was quite keen on Allegro Living before Wednesday but it is incredibly off-putting when agency representatives fail to show basic regard for potential customers. Perhaps, I interrupted her lunchtime or maybe, it's racial bias... who knows? All I know is that I turned up to an arranged viewing with a smile on my face and left disappointed, having to undergo Pippa's hostile attitude: she was unfriendly and downright rude. She stood there with a frown on her face as we walked around the apartments and snapped at our questions. I'm so glad we had other agency viewings booked with professionals who could show some enthusiasm. What a shame. And if that's what a viewing is like, I can't even begin to imagine what dealing with them post-agreement will be like.... Read more

Hi all
If you are thinking in rentinf from this office, think again. They are not professional. As soon as they get your money they will not reply your emails or they will reply, but will take long time. Additionally, Their smile will disappear when you sign the agreement.
At the end of the contract, they will not give your deposit.
At the end of the contract I received an email ordering me to send my bank info to return the remaining of the deposit after deduction, but it is ridiculous. It includes a lot of cleaning as if they are explaing you the steps of cleaning. It is supposed to be the end of tenancy cleaning.
Here is the text of their letter:
'' I have carried out the final inspection and have found that the following deductions are required. Please reply to this email with the bank account details you would like the return made to.
Checkout fee:
1x extra day:
Cleaning:
Oven/Hob deep clean:
Steam clean carpets:
Touch up painting:
Bulbs:
Mattress steam clean: ''
I opend a dispute and I got the disputed money from DPS, but when I send the eight8 property my bank Info they have not replied my email up to now and I have not got the remaining of my deposit up to now.... Read more

Absolutely not recommended. I strongly advise not to approach this agency. They just try to get the most money out of your need. On the other hand they will ask you 250 £ for managing the reservation and remove the advertisement (thing that they will never do) knowing in advance that they are not going to rent the apartment, I do not understand what is the intention of this procedure but it is frankly suspicious. It took more than a month and a half to return the money from two deposits that they made me pay (£ 500). On the other hand the employee with whom he was in contact (Matt) simply disappeared after receiving the money. Also mention that the man seems to be a very busy person and takes too long responding taking into account the needs of people who come to a real estate agency. As a conclusion I should recommend that you avoid this agency because I believe that they are not professionals in their work and I personally lost a lot of time.
