Lovely park with lots of open green spaces. Lake with lots of nature. A lovely play area with lots of climbing activities, zip wires, sand pit area. There is a splash and play with water sprinklers. Lots of nice parts of the park. Good transport links and toilet facilities

Clean ( no litter), well laid out with clear maps so you can find the shops you are looking for, lovely gardens, good toilets, fair parking charges, very wide range of shops, plus cafes and snack stalls. Great if you enjoy shopping which I don't!! But if you have to go to a shopping centre this one must be one of the best - even I could tolerate it!!!

Really big. Playgrounds are OK for new walkers but limited and then not really much for toddlers, young kids until probably 6 or 7 and above. They could definitely be improved in terms of equipment variety and options.
Lake is lovely to walk around.

Always loved Brockwell Park. I lived around for 10 years. Great place for morning run, lunch time walk or evening drink with friends. Kids water play is excellent a shame that some water features doesn't work.

I can easily make 10000 steps by going round this park twice. It’s large. Good for all age groups. There is a playground for kids. Swan lake is beautiful. I can’t get enough. Very accessible as well

It's a lovely park, but does get very busy.
Go early for walks, jogs others activities as this place will get busy quickly. Love the Lido for swimming, again where possible go early morning to avoid crowds.

Beautiful park, wide open spaces with lots of facilities. The park is mostly keep clean and landscaped. Dog owners are pretty responsible so it's a great place to picnic or bring children to play. The Lido is one of the best features but the Lido has it's own Google page. There are some flat areas but if you're able to get to the top of the hill in the park the views are absolutely gorgeous.

Gorgeous park with excellent facilities for all the family. I particularly like the walled garden, ponds, Community Greenhouses and the lido. There is a cafe in the big house at the top of the hill, Brockwell Hall. Great food but the coffee not so good.

Beautiful park, very big with both hills and a flat path if you prefer. Cafe is brilliant lots of choice and toilets are open. Toilets not always in best condition though. Ones near cafe are better than ones near pond.

Brockwell Park continues to be well used and well loved. Lots of people use it for exercise beyond simple walking. It's nice that the open air lido remained open. It's a large park with plenty of space to spread out and some nice hills to train on.

Great spot to run, exercise or even for a relaxed stroll. The rose garden is beautiful and the views are great too. Over winter it closes much earlier but it's also pitch black. Summer and Spring are delight there so totally worth visiting. It also has some sort of community garden full of nice plants and projects that is worth visiting

Another gorgeous park in London and not too far from Central London! Perfect park to have a morning walk! Please don't feed bread to the birds that live on this Park bring some seeds or frozen peas for instance for more information on what they can eat check online.

Beautiful green space with amazing views across the city. Has two cafes, a lido pool (not heated) and rose gardens. There’s also a bmx area. Can get really busy but the park is huge so plenty of space. There’s a basket ball court and a nice outdoor workout area which is fenced and has cushioned flooring. The best feature of the park is the amazing range of trees you’ll find here, some really old.

Large grassland park on hill with beautiful mature trees, a house with a cafe, views to the City, a lovely walled garden and many other amenities. Although busy, it makes for a very enjoyable walk with plenty to see and do.

Love this park, super chilled with lots of great walking paths, a pond and a little walled garden with a nursery. There's also loads of nice places nearby to grab some picnic bits or have a meal or drink.

I loved it. Very beautiful green and restful space in the middle of London. Lots of space for different groups to play football, handball, cricket, a bit of dancing...you name it! Oh...and there was a lake with lovely swans too. It was a good evening ?????????

Nice open spaces. They have public bathrooms as well but they are closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Plenty of bins so there's very little trash around. It's a very large park so you can easily find somewhere to sit.

A great and well look after park in South London. Nice and large grassy areas to sit on. Plenty of hilly slopes and amazing views of the city financial district. There is a cafe I cannot say much about as it was closed because of Covid-19 restrictions. Free parking in the nearby area, very close to one of the park entrances. There is also a beautiful landscaped garden called Walled garden as it is fenced by a wall.
There are swans in the beautiful lake which also has fountain and a little island for the wildlife. I highly recommend a visit.

Brockwell Park is a local, unique and unexpected spot of nature, and I think, for so many reasons, it is the best Park in London.
Starting from the stunning views of the skyline of "The City" and "Central London" that the park commands, here you will find plenty of things to do suitable for both children and adults.
Locals flock here in summer to sunbathe, take children to playgrounds, walk dogs, fly kites, jog, run, rollerblade, ride the massive BMX Track, swim in the outside pool, play football, tennis, basketball, volleyball and enjoy gardening activities at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses.
If you love nature and you are in Brixton on a sunny day don't miss it!

Great to take your dog for a walk on as plenty of space for them to run around. Make sure you pick up your dog dirt if so. Pond is great, has a swan currently nesting by the edge

Deceptively big park with a wide variety of facilities. Great for dogs and humans. The big house has a lovely café with what looked like great Italian food. I'll hope to try some another day. But you can't take dogs inside.

Best park in London! Amazing views of the skyline, never over crowded and genuinely feels like you're out of the hustle and bustle. Great place to run or relax or walk the dogs. Has a really nice community feel too.

Fabulous park with lots of activities from community gardening, BMX track, lido, tennis courts, water play (in the summer) and one of the best playgrounds in the area.
Also I love all the paths and hills. An oasis with great views of the glass and steel towers of the city.

Great little park. Seems to be the focus of community activity. There was a community 6k Santa run at the weekend. Well organised, with a few music stands to sheer the runners on. A small restaurant in the middle of the park serving snacks, drinks & all manners of desserts & ice creams. The Hot chocolate was very nice on a cold & windy day.

Brockwell park is quite a decent park they have different events there each year such as the farmers market and some festivals, a funfair turns up once or twice a year. There's tennis courts and an outdoor lido there too, large open space good for picnics or just to have fun as a family.

I have been coming here for over 25 years. I jog around the perimeter, worked in ground maintenance here and been a member of the gym at the Lido. I think of it as my local church (sort of). I think I'm a member of Friends of Brockwell Park... tho maybe my membership has lapsed recently.
The ponds have got a resident heron, Canada geese, swans, coots, mallards, dragonflies and others which I've forgotten.
There r tennis courts...which I keep meaning to play on... sometime...and cricket nets and a cricket pitch.
In the summer the walled garden is lovely and tranquil.
It's unusually hilly for a London park...which is a good thing imo. The children's play areas are great for...children...and not bad for adults.
It's one of London's precious green lungs, big enough to get a little bit lost in ( if u want) with great views of the City from its highest point...let's look after it.

Went to the lido early on a Saturday morning. The slow lane was empty so good for someone who swims at a ???? pace. Water was cold so recommend a wet suit unless you have plenty of built in insulation.

What's not to love? Huge open space which still has room for a paddling pool, lido, duck ponds, cafe, basketball and tennis courts, cricket pitch, children's playground, one o'clock club and bike track. Even on the hottest day you'll find a quiet space.

Great for a run, walk, or cycle. The cafe is a lovely stop, however my favourite place is the walled gardens: a brilliant arrangement of plants and flowers make for a very nice smelling place to visit when you are there. The kids playground is excellent as well, a good few hours can be spent here without getting bored.

Really lovely place for a picnic. Big place quite hilly but well laid with pavement. There are a few swans in the pond, the paddling pool is sweet but very small and a bit of a way away from the playground. The playground is wonderful with loos accessible and relatively clean.

This is indeed a lovely spacious park with plenty of green and open space set off in its centre by a small manor house with a cafe. Good open views of the centre of London, ponds, community greenhouses and a fabulous walked garden with loads of my favourite plants. An impressive community effort as I understand the walled garden is.maontained be volunteers. Impressive.

We adore this park! Very Well maintained, the playground is very good and cater for different range of children.
Tennis courts, volleyball and bowling pitch makes it fun for adults.
The caff in top of the hill serves a lovely range of hot food and nice ice creams.
The duck pond host a good range of ducks and very prolific swans.
My favourite part is the walled garden! Make sure you pay a visit. It's an Oasis of peace blooming with an amazing range of flowers trees, benches and gazebos.
Pic nics are a must here!

Very spacious park. Was pretty busy day we visited but still found plenty of space to throw frisbees and kick a ball around. Some shade can be found under the larger trees for those really hot days. Small cafe there too.

Brockwell park is a great place to visit with the whole family, there is slways something going on in it from the County fairs to a host of other activities. The park is well maintained and kept clean and great for the walkers among us who want to have a physical challenge. Worth a visit!

Nice Park, with lots of space to breath and lots of different activities to perform. Cycling, bmx, calisthenics, running. Tennis, football, training court, swimming pool, vegan cafe, many accessible toilets, a huge playground, and easy access to all of these. I was there shooting a short film recently and it was 20 degrees, (in February!!!).

A great green space and park. Popular amongst locals and people from all parts of London. Sited In the centre of Herne Hill. Two very good cafes. One at the top of the hill in the park serving a good selection of drinks, snacks and lunches. The other near the lido a bit more up market. Both good value for money. Very good play area for children, also a large pond area with swans and ducks. Don't miss the enclosed garden, a haven of peace in a busy world with a well kept and attractive garden. If you are into exercise great for runners, joggers, and walkers. Well worth a visit to explore and enjoy.

I came here today for the Lambeth Country Show and while I enjoyed myself. I'm so not sure the boys did. The fun fair part could have been a bit more bigger. I didn't see no bumper cars and I know the boys would have enjoyed that. The main stage could have been sectioned a lot better, but I supposed they got to place it depending on size and structure of the park. Although, I did enjoyed the Sweet Reggae music at the main stage and the boys enjoyed it too. There plenty of toilet cubicle and free water pipes to fill up your bottle or wash your hands. There a load of current stalls selling all kind of foods and giving out all kind of information. Overall I would come here again, but probably with more friends and family my own age, rather than 2 children and myself.

A lovely park. My friend's four year-old and I went for a kickabout on a Saturday morning and it worked well for that. Then the three of us walked through the park after England's quarter-final win. It was an ideal space in which to reflect on that. My friend's son fell off his scooter and a lad came straight over to help. The place had a really good community feel.

There is so much here!
I usually visit the children's play area and ponds/lakes (with ducks geese and swans) but recently found the kids water play open which was great.
The almost secret walled garden is stunning.
There are tennis courts and other sports facilities.
The café in the big house serves generous standard fare and delicious ice creams.
There are community greenhouses and gardens.
The bmx track provides even more fun for youngsters.

My favourite London Park, with gentle undulations give views over the London skyline and hide a wealth of facilities (tennis courts, cricket nets, BMX track, paddling pool, duck ponds, threadbare bowling green, even a walled ‘secret garden’). Hosts the fantastic annual Lambeth Country Show, a free festival that gives an urban spin on the village fete.
And of course Brockwell Park also features the famous Lido with its Olympic pool, gym and lovely cafe.

Great open space, great sand playground for the kids. It has a lake with a cafe near by inside the park that serves a variety of food and ice cream. There is a lido pool on the other side of the park. Only let down is that the toilets are absolutely disgusting.

Made the mistake of thinking the pool was heated. 9 degrees was painful but glad we got in. Had a real buzz all day. The sauna on the poolside was a life saver. The regulars where very welcoming and slightly mad (in a good way) for swimming there every day. Changing was modern and clean. Staff were fab.

A lovly green park and garden with tidy good ways. Good for walk run or even relax. Good place for sports, good place to go with dogs. Almost good visited. Close to the Lido Bath, open in summer. Park is closed by night. Save place, very wide and open and with different views to London. Lots of banks to sit and watch.

Quiet park with excellent views of of London Skyline, from Canary Wharf to Wembley. Ease reach by overground trains, one can have a relaxing picnic and combine with a walk down to Enticing Brixton. A must during summer. Why not paddle at the Lido or brings young toddlers to paddle at the children's rock Park.

I come here for running and to do my pull up workouts. Perfect place for both, highly recommend it. People are lovely, at summer time it's filled with the usual picknick people which makes the place really vibrant. Evening parties and sport events make the park even more lovely and lively.

Beautiful open ground with 19th century old buildings,flower gardens and amazing landscape!
Ideal for a walk with your dog or playground for kids.
There is a nice coffee and snacks bar.
It's also a great choice for a Sunday morning walk and continue for lunch in Brixton.
Highly recommended!

Sssshhh...its my secret escape from London. Lose yourself in this park and forget about the busy streets of London for a few hours. Walled garden is beautiful and so are the three large ponds. It has a cafe which gets busy, there is also a childrens play area. Spent many hours there over the years. Love it

Our favourite neighbourhood park. Head over to the excellent 'adventure playground' with the zip line and lots of challenging climbs for young adventurers. After that has exhausted everyone stop off for brunch or lunch at the Lido cafe

Brockwell Park is a beautiful park with duck pond, excellent cafe (The lido Cafe), outdoor pools, gym and numerous exercise acvtivities. Great for dog walking and popular due to the fact that it is fenced, meaning no risk of accidents with dogs and cars. Car park facilities on site

A large open area for walking the dog. It has a small, charity garden space there where they sell minor plants. In the summer it is buzzing with people chilling out at the cafe at the top of the hill and sitting under the lovely wide span of the trees. There are foot paths for bike riders and walkers. A couple of tennis courts and a car park

A very pleasant park that I see every day from the train. It is large and well maintained, occasionally they have a circus here. It is well located beat Herne Hill station and close to various amenities. Definitely worth visiting to get away from the busyness of the area.

Fantastic park with something on offer for the whole family. There’s a huge adventure playground, BMX track, tennis courts, cricket area and a very nice little cafe. Also very dog friendly. Park and facilities are very well maintained and it feels very safe.

One of the nicest parks in south London in my opinion. It's one of those hidden gems that surprises you when you walk through it. It has a lot of different parts. Ideal for a walk and a run or just hanging out really.
Lovely park for kids as well and has a little secret garden full of flowers.

A Rock
One of London's free public parks with easy free access to washrooms and refreshments with basic casual dining facilities for family Ann's friends. Accessible by public transit (Hern hill) station and within walking distance of a bustling market and stores. Pubs and bars are also within walking distance. Be aware of dogs as it is a popular location for dog walking but if you like people and dog walking, this would be a great park for you.

An excellent park in South West London. No tourists around at all, and some great views of the city. Great for a challenging run with some good hills.

I miss my secret garden that is so gorgeous with its colourful flower beds that change according to seasons, the old clock on top of the hill along with a sort of Gone with the Wind palace where you can order delicious ice cream and then sit outside and admire the lawn with a silhouette of a structure strangely resembling the Eiffel Tower. The ponds with ducks and the white crane hiding in the reeds. Smelling the chevreuil flowers in the summer. I miss London so much that I am incapable of putting it into words.

The best park in all of South London (If not the entirety of London). Loads of space, great garden, nice playground, home to the Lambeth Country Show and has a great communal feel. Would highly recommend

The cafe at Brockwell Park - Lovely coffee, scrumptious cakes and a large menu of authentic English and Italian hot and cold dishes to eat in or take out. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Just a lovely place to while away an hour or so.

If you want a fill filled day Brockwell Park is the place to be at. I often go for a bike ride it has a Lido if you want peace and quite there's an area for that. Kids play area and picnic. Harden is beautiful different trees and flowers.

Beautiful park. I feel so so very lucky to live right opposite such a lovely, picturesque park. An ideal spot for dog walking and nice for children. With a basketball pitch and kids play areas. Would recommend it as a place for literally anyone to visit. It's lovely at any time of the year, in the Summer though the lido's are also filled, making it a perfect place to visit for adults, families, young adults, children of all ages and animal lovers/dog walkers.

A lovely family park with ample space for walking, riding and sitting. It has sporting facilities and appears well maintained. It has local amenities nearby. Its easily accessible by bus and train. There are pubs and bars where you can eat and drink and a major supermarket nearby.

Excellent park with an even better children's playground.
We come here every weekend with our sons (aged 2 and 0) My son absolutely loves this playground, especially as he likes climbing and there are so many things to climb.
Outside of the playground there is a lovely pond with ducks, and also a water play area where you can sit on big rocks and have a picnic on the grass.

A fantastic park with lot's going for it, it is huge. It has a paddling pool for the kids. It has an area with big stone balls that are in fact fountains which the kids can play in. It has tennis courts for those that are interested. It also has the Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses which are a must see if you are into plants of any kind, I have written a separate review on this, and also I took quite a few pictures, if you are interested please go to my review Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. Also today I discovered the Walled Garden which is so beautiful, you will absolutely love it, it's well worth a visit, I have posted some pictures of it on here. In my opinion one of the best parks in South London and certainly one to visit in London. Has such a large space each section of the park feels completely different. You always have something happening including a lido, children’s playground, large pond, excellent transport links and food restaurants nearby. There’s also a cafe at the peak of the park which has great views.
