I paid the holding deposit for a flat completed the references and guarantor applications for them to reassure me that once they are complete I’ve got the house. I receive an email from the agent saying the landlord withdrew application not even a phone call. Unprofessional never seen any service like this. She should be fired for sure

Just bought a house through Foxes with Ben. Havent always had positive experiences with estate agencies, but can honestly say this was so different. Easiest ever purchase. Ben was so helpful and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. Jo kept us regularly updated on every step of our sale progress, we got the house we wanted at a good price, just got keys and so so happy. A very nice personal touch with the little welcome box, its those personal touches and that customer service that makes such a difference to a buyers experience. Would absolutely recommend, thank you Ben and all the Foxes team for such a smooth purchase experience. 10/10.

I went to see a property, I was the first one. At the end of the viewing I expressed that I was going to take the flat. After 30 min max. I sent out the form with all information and informed by email too. After 2 weeks, no response so far. Checked the website and property is showing as let agreed. How come?? Why??? With combined income over £70 k. What's the reason for no answers at all. Perhaps discrimination?? As I am not English either my partner. Ridiculous and Rude!!

I do not normally write reviews but having recently completed on the sale of a family property in Bournemouth through Foxes, feel it is right to acknowledge the outstanding service we received from Ben and his colleagues.
From finding a reliable buyer at the right price, to supporting us through a process which was not without some challenges, I can give them nothing but the highest praise. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and polite and the team were exceptionally good at keeping us informed of progress. Ben in particular went above and beyond, giving very helpful advice and even regularly checking the empty property for us. This alleviated our concerns at living so far away and saved us many long and stressful journeys.
Thank you very much Ben, Matthew, Naomi and Joanne. On the basis of our experience with you we would definitely recommend and use Foxes again.

Be warned, if you rent from these people they will constantly send letters to the wrong address. Zero communication, always closed when you try to call. Despite my deadline they haven't been helpful, I filled in my application form, then they asked me to put down my holding fee, then they decided to ask more questions and give me more application forms after I had already put down my deposit, told me that my accounts not good enough, then lied to me about waiting to talk to their manager about giving me back my holding deposit (which they've only been holding onto for two days) (A holding deposit last up to 15 days) I actually looked into the legality of things and what they are doing is wrong. poor communication, poor service. they've called my next of kin rather than me, and are saying in their Director/AreaManager Sam own words "He didn't have enough funds in his bank account so we're keeping the money"

My Husband and I let a property with foxes and they were wonderful! The lettings team went above and beyond for us at short notice and fast-tracked us so we could move quickly and easily! Repairs were always dealt with quickly by what I think is a family run team so was nice to always have the same nice repair man pop over to repair a leaky tap or teach me to work the boiler when I thought it was broken (silly me!) and their team are lovely to speak to! Matt and Demi are lovely warm people who always followed up enquires quickly and promptly!

Booked an appointment with 3 days notice as we were travelling 350 miles from Yorkshire to view a property and got a call an hour and a half before appointment to say they didn't have the keys. Was only in the area for 2 days so asked them to keep me updated if they could get the keys. Had to call them on several occasions as they never called me back as promised. Very poor customer service.

False advertising, poor communication and lacking customer service. Staff confused us with the landlord and failed to respond to questions about a property until prompted a week later.
Prior to the ban on tenant fees Foxes advertised half price fees on their standard fees of £400+VAT, unfortunately they appear to lack simple maths, invoicing £270+VAT, when challenged they failed to respond with any explanation claiming that was half price and let the property elsewhere, sadly it appears that this agent seeks only to serve itself and not the landlords it represents.

I’ve worked with Foxes for the last 3 years. Sam gives a full report of any issue so we know what we are walking into and this ensures that we are fully equipped and ready to sort the issue. Surprisingly most agents don’t give a report to us just a general “go to this property.” I can honestly say I recommend Foxes to private landlords I deal with.

Having been in a dispute over my deposit for the past 3 months I feel the need to warn potential tenants that despite the agency fees and unreasonable high exit fees imposed by Foxes nothing protects you from bad landlords. Shop around for letting agents that have lower costs or best that are prepared to wave the fees! Take my example, a ceiling coving just fell from the ceiling one day out of the blue. I raised the issue to the agency, it wasn’t fixed and now I find myself in a dispute with a rogue landlord wanting to deduct the cost to fix the coving, damage that I did not cause and was not fixed during my tenancy!...And this is one of few other unreasonable things the landlord is trying to deduct from my deposit as well as the agency exit fees... hundred of pounds that as a single parent I cannot afford to lose. Do yourself a favour, save your money and don’t pay unnecessary agency fees in case you find yourself in the same situation. Even if you do everything by the book you could find yourself in a similar stressful experience and out of pocket.

Except for a bit high fees 600£+ for two people in just admin fees.
Must be the smoothest move I done and documents and everything is electronic. So sorting out references and all that was done within 24 hours!

I viewed a house with Matt a few weeks ago as we were looking at moving to Bournemouth from Camden as we love Bournemouth, Matt has been great with sorting contracts and has given us loads of ideas of things to do around Bournemouth with the kids.

Arrogant and incompetent agents. Lettings manager doesn't even bother to respond to complaints in a timely manner. Massive delay with the deposits, with incorrect states. The agency tried hard to take our deposit for damages that never existed. Case was on the despute, and wined!!!! at least after 4 months I get all my money back! AVOID RENTING THROUGH FOXES!!

I have been extremely happy with the service that Foxes have provided. Damon, Demi, Sara and the team have always been very friendly, efficient and helpful, including when dealing with some unusual and tricky maintenance issues at the property. I highly recommend them.

Sadly I can't recommend foxes to anyone,4 months on dispite emails to manager steve baker I still have gaps you can see daylight though in between the window and frame in both bedroom and front room ,the satellite dish is still not conecconn to the flat and although the flat is supposed to come with parking there are only 8 spaces for 16 flats so almost every day I have to search for a parking spot on the road ,really very dissatisfied with my rental with foxes and can't wait to for the contract to end so I can move !!!
