In letting my property, I needed an agent that was very knowledgeable about the house location, could energetically and creatively market a quite unique house, and are the go to agent for premium properties in the area.
Hamptons Guildford and specifically Ben Hart and Antonis Petrie, ably assisted by Charlotte Clark, ticked all these boxes with aplomb. The team were very focused and committed, creatively addressing various issues that arose. In short a happy landlord and happy tenant. It would be a pleasure to work with Hamptons Guildford team again.

We are very happy with Tia Manger, she is unfailingly responsive, friendly and efficient. We have especially appreciated her work in finding appropriate companies to do repairs - not easy for a Grade ll listed property. The whole letting process would have felt more daunting without her calm and helpful attitude and we really appreciate her customer-focused approach.

Hamptons Guildford - above and beyond.
We recently sold two properties in Surrey, one though Hamptons and one privately. I cannot fault Simon Jordan at the Guildford Office who provided excellent advice all the way and was even prepared to help us with guidance on our private sale, going well above and beyond our expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Without a doubt the best experience I've had with an estate agency. We were keen to move fast and the team at Hamptons did everything to accommodate this. Moving into a new home is very stressful. There are soo many things letting agents don’t tell you and sometimes they even lie to you. I’ve lived in guildford for the past 4 years and I’ve had terrible experiences with landlords and letting agents. I’ve been with Hamptons for over a year and they are amazing. They are really helpful when you initially move in and are always helpful when you have an issue. Philip has helped me for over the year I’ve been here and he’s a really nice person.

I simply can not say enough positive things about the team at Hamptons in Guildford who were exceptional to work with from start to finish.
We recently moved from Southwest London in the midst of an aggressively competitive property market. During our extensive property search, we encountered some of the best and also some of the worst estate agent practices. From dubious additional fees, to some agents taking advantage of a very difficult market and continuing to conduct property viewings once an offer had already been accepted, it was a very disheartening experience.
When we ended up encountering Hamptons, it was a HUGE silver lining to the whole process. From the very first phone conversation, they were genuine, forthright and acted with understanding and integrity.
I will add a special thanks to Phillip in the Guildford office who was exceptional and we owe a lot to him and his colleagues for securing our house. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future for any kind of property needs.

Hamptons were an exemplary selling agent for us. From the beginning, we appreciated Simon's ability to listen; to be analytical about the market and our own situation; to empathise with our perspective, but also to be direct and straight about difficult issues, when he thought we were wrong; always being willing to talk to us, even when he was very busy; being proactive in knowing up to the minute what was happening in our chain; and being generally on the ball and for keeping us informed about what was going on at all times. He has a very warm, engaging and reassuring style, which is helpful through what is inevitably a stressful process. He also gave us good advice, when difficult decisions had to be made.
He has also developed a very effective team around him in Guildford in Tiffany, Florence, Stewart and Andrew, who embody the same values, as well as being very efficient and good at what they do. Each of them took the time to familiarise themselves with the nuances of our property and its surroundings. Communication within their office was always excellent. Whoever we spoke to, knew all about our sale, whatever stage it was at, and always acted promptly and accurately on whatever they agreed to do for us. We always had confidence that Florence was promoting Hernshaw in the best way possible when she showed people around, and in her judgement about the people involved.
Hopefully, Hamptons will use Simon as a role model for training others, in how to go about managing clients and staff to sell a house!

We have been renting out our property through Hamptons International for five years now and it has been a very pleasant experience. They have managed the property impeccably and the service overall has been efficient and professional. Tia Manger especially has been great. We've had quite a few issues with the property and she has relentlessly sorted them out, always looking for the best, most cost-effective solution. Even getting us refunds when the workmanship hasn't been up to standard. I would highly recommend Hamptons International.
