I simply can not say enough positive things about the team at Hamptons in Guildford who were exceptional to work with from start to finish. We recently moved from Southwest London in the midst of an aggressively competitive property market. During our extensive property search, we encountered some of the best and also some of the worst estate agent practices. From dubious additional fees, to some agents taking advantage of a very difficult market and continuing to conduct property viewings once an offer had already been accepted, it was a very disheartening experience. When we ended up encountering Hamptons, it was a HUGE silver lining to the whole process. My partner and I decided on purchasing a new build property, we had been looking at properties for some time, meeting various estate agents along the way. We finally came across a lovely property being advertised by Hamptons International. We were met at the property by Stuart Pavey who immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease looking round the property. We were impressed with Stuart's professionalism and interest in the property itself and it was clear he truly liked the property and that came across when he was showing us around. Throughout the process of buying the property Stuart was excellent with his communication and was always at the end of the phone or email when we had questions and kept us up to date if he would be away ensuring there was appropriate cover. Stuart was everything you would expect from a good estate agent and was clearly fighting our corner when our solicitors were slow dealing with correspondence and kept in contact almost daily all the way up until exchange and completion. We really did feel in safe hands with Stuart and he was always up front and told us how it was and if he wasn't sure of anything he would find out and get back to us. Stuart was also a good link between us and the developers of the new build property which made life easier. Stuart also met us numerous times at the property for second viewings, measuring up etc which was a great help and we never felt we were an inconvenience.
