AVOID!! Every bad thing you've heard about estate agents- Bourne are it. They completely lied to us from the start, they told us there wasn't a chain only to find out a few weeks before completion that there were and they arrogantly tried to say that it doesn't matter or make a difference. They are very rude, arrogant and condescending. They pressured us and our solicitors to complete on a certain day, only to find out that the other party had no idea about the completion date. This left us homeless for 2 weeks- so you can imagine the stress. Save yourselves the stress- there are so many other estate agents on the high street. Please Please AVOID!!!!

I have just got completed purchase of my new home a month ago. Ryan Brahim was excellent and professional throughout! Ryan was really responsive to queries and great in communicating amongst solicitors, seller, and myself to ensure both parties informed and happy with the progress. They took 6 months to get everything in the house fixed, even though they said they'd only take a week since we moved in. They also took ages to get the paperwork done for a change of occupancy, meaning that we had to pay an extra month for an empty room, even though we had a new tenant. I am really disappointed with their house management service.

Awful experience with Cobbles. Found them to be dishonest and inexperienced. Tried to buy a house through them and had mine valued. Cobbles valued my house £25k below two other agents. Despite putting in an offer and being informed by James that the power of attorney was happy with my offer, I was told 2 weeks later out of the blue, another offer had been accepted. This is despite regular chasing for updates with nothing coming back. Eugene called for the first time to tell me after I had been dealing with James since the outset. He also seemed to imply that my offer might have been accepted if I had marketed my house with them. There was always subtle pressure and manipulation to get your property on their books to increase your chances of being successful in the bidding process. It was the most expensive property they had at the time so you would expect that the director would take more control of the situation but not at Cobbles! More Cobbler's! I will personally never deal with them again. If I could rate them as zero stars I would.

Gascoigne-Pees have been our letting agents for the past 3 and half years.
Daisy has been our key contact and has been fantastic start to finish. If ever we had any issues, they were easy to contact across a variety of streams - online portal, email, telephone. Issues were always quickly resolved and no fuss at all.
We have recently vacated our rented property and would recommend any future tenants to this company as a fantastic support to have.

Worst Estate Agents Ever. They ripped me off with fees when I first moved to Guildford (my first rented property), and then tried to get as much of my deposit back at the end. This was 5 years ago. Now they did exactly the same to my friend who has just immigrated here from Europe and was desperately looking for a place ASAP. They spotted his situation and took him to the cleaners. For a house he pays £1100 a month for he got charged £250 agreement fee, £50 guarantor fee, £75 reference fees, £50 guarantor reference fee, £180 inventory fee (house unfurnished!!!), and then to top it off they've charged him a £60 admin fee. £5000 upfront for a £1100 per month house. Dicks.

Very disappointing. As soon as I changed agent the property sold in less than a week at full asking price. Always a possibility. But Seymours actually deserve 0 stars as my purchaser sold their property through the Woking office but did not know about my property advertised through their Burpham office. Whilst they say they cross sell across branches my experience suggests not.

Seymours helped us buy our first house and they were great. We used both Seymours Woking and Seymours Guildford and ended up finding a home in Guildford. They were very responsive and helpful every step of the way and they had the biggest selection of houses to view. They kept in touch all the way to the final completion and even gifted us a new home box of treats and bottle of bubble which was a lovely touch. We really appreciated their help and expertise managing the first time buying process. xx

Arranged to view a property with Seymours, we took time out of work on a Thursday morning because we liked the property. The agent showed up without the keys to the property. We had to wait for 30 minutes whilst they returned with the correct keys. During this time we got a call from someone on the office to apologise; not really constructive but we appreciated it. When the agent returned, the keys had the wrong house number on them and we couldn’t get into the property to view. In summary Seymour sent someone who clearly has never been in the property before (didn’t know if we access from the side/rear) and didn’t have the vendor’s number to call, wasted two hours of our time and we won’t get to see the property now because it’s coming off the market this weekend. Well done Seymours; you had one job to do.
