The entire team at Jackson-Stops Dorking were brilliant from the initial instruction call to the day of completion. The team kept us very well informed throughout the process and helped get everyone over the line for our exchange and completion deadlines. The experience and knowledge of the local market were spot on. We would recommend using Jackson-Stops in Dorking to anyone buying or selling in the area.
Despite being the buyers in the chain we were very pleased with the support of Darrell Hughes and Alan King in what proved to be a complicated and at times challenging process (for reasons outside of their control). I would recommend Jackson-Stops.
Being a first time buyer was very daunting, Ben found us a property that suited our needs and under our budget within a few days of enquiring with Bridges Ash Vale office. Ben & the team kept me updated numerous times a week and managed to speed up the buying process and take away a lot of admin/calls for myself & my partner- which took a massive load of pressure away from us both with very busy/stressful jobs and made the process so smooth and stress free! Even after completion, Ben was always on hand with any queries we have had. I would highly recommend to purchase through Ash Vale Bridges you won't regret it!
Found the whole experience unprofessional, waited 6 months to hear any feedback from them only to be told to drop the price by 20% to try and secure a sale.We had to keep contacting them on any inquiries if any had been made.
Recently rented a property through Eugene, Katrina and the team. We received exceptional service from start to finish, with regular updates throughout the process from James, Lewis and Tom.
We could not have asked for more the entire team are super friendly.
Awful experience with Cobbles. Found them to be dishonest and inexperienced. Tried to buy a house through them and had mine valued. Cobbles valued my house £25k below two other agents. Despite putting in an offer and being informed by James that the power of attorney was happy with my offer, I was told 2 weeks later out of the blue, another offer had been accepted. This is despite regular chasing for updates with nothing coming back. Eugene called for the first time to tell me after I had been dealing with James since the outset. He also seemed to imply that my offer might have been accepted if I had marketed my house with them. There was always subtle pressure and manipulation to get your property on their books to increase your chances of being successful in the bidding process. It was the most expensive property they had at the time so you would expect that the director would take more control of the situation but not at Cobbles! More Cobbler's! I will personally never deal with them again. If I could rate them as zero stars I would.
Top quality pub with great staff. I had my stag party watching England beat Sweden in the gorgeous private dining room! Absolutely beautiful.
After sitting down for only about 5 mins the owner of the pub attacked us and told us to "get the f out her pub" if we weren't going to buy anything, she was absolutely awful and rude, I have never in my life been served in this disgusting way, I do not recommend.
Fortunately this bad service does not run through all the pubs staff as the people at the bar and the waiters and waitresses were very nice.
Huge thanks to Liam at Seymours who saw our house move through to the very end. When it looked shaky he went the extra mile to make sure it all happened and I'm not sure it would have happened without him. We would highly recommend him.
Very disappointing. As soon as I changed agent the property sold in less than a week at full asking price. Always a possibility. But Seymours actually deserve 0 stars as my purchaser sold their property through the Woking office but did not know about my property advertised through their Burpham office. Whilst they say they cross sell across branches my experience suggests not.
I want to say a big thank you to Seymours Guildford and Burpham offices for their excellent service in selling some flats for us recently. They really do take a personal interest in achieving a good outcome all round. They also go the extra mile in sorting out annoying little problems! I highly recommend their services!
Tried to buy a house through Simon, as first time buyers we would of expected to be guided through the process a bit more than someone who has done it before. I would say now we have finally moved into our first house and used a decent estate agent, that he used the ‘first time buyer’ to his advantage by not disclosing everything about the property. Not mentioning to us the the property was ‘sealed bids’, not a regular sale, then eventually telling us to put our ‘final’ offer in before a set date and editing the right move advert... anyway we had the highest bid in the end, then they were constantly on the phone along with James asking me what’s going on, have I done this, when can we exchange. All before the sellers had even sent my solicitor any paperwork! Something fishy from the start I feel. Will give a good word to Tiffany though who was nothing but helpful unlike the other two.
