    An almost harrowing experience that does all estate agent stereotypes proud! Referencing of two people with solid and comfortable earnings required complicated accountants references, a page-long reference form from the MD of one's investment bank, intrusive disclosure and woeful disregard of private information and the data protection act Then there was the landlord who couldn't find his own lease or insurance documentation. And the clause in the Hamptons contract which asks the tenant to indemnify the landlord if their insurance doesn't pay out. It's very much "Hamptons and their client" vs. the tenant. Entirely unprofessional, definitely incompetent and quite appalling

    Paul Price and the team at Hamprons Richmond sales were extremely professional and value adding. From the start of the renovations and assistance with ideas and advice on marketing it was a flawless experience. We highly recommend this professional and experienced team.

    I interacted with Neil Coughtrie of Hamptons in Richmond during a recent purchase of a flat. I found Neil very professional and informative. Not only did he ensured that the interest of the seller was well represented, he worked very hard to bring us together to achieve a good transaction for both parties. I am particularly impressed by his efforts after we agreed on price. He continued to keep on the ball to ensure that the transaction is completed in time. During the process he was highly professional, engaged and informative without overwhelming. I do recommend Hamptons and Neil in particular and wish him all the success. Kambiz D

    Awful experience with this Estate Agents. Absolutely useless. No correct information was being passed on whilst we were trying to purchase a property through them. They kept us hanging on for 5 months until we had no other choice but to pull out of the purchase. Certain members of staff (wont name names) cant even be bothered to return your calls, when its urgent, they pass on false information to make you believe that everything is going smoothly, when in fact its all falling to pieces. Now the property has been relisted, when they know full well that the next persons offer gets accepted, they will be in the same boat as us. This property should not be listed until all issues are resolved which i have advised them, but they have chose to ignore. I feel sorry for the next couple/family that have their offer accepted on this property. Will never use Bairstow Coleshill again!!

    I have been trying to get a re-view on a property since 9ish this morning to be passed from pillar to post ? My partners daughter has called several times and My partner also called to be told its under offer ? I call back to ask why no one has come back to me for my request for a re-view. I Question the property being under offer to be told it is too myself ? Even though I was advised I would need to go higher hence requesting the re-view prior to doing so. The property is vacant and the agent has keys so why can this just not be booked and it is under offer if so to who ? I am disappointed

    I highly recommend Bairstow Eves Coleshill. We received a good offer for our property within days of it being advertised - an offer which we accepted. The viewings were scheduled to suit us and were conducted professionally by Sam. The chain was a large one with a number of complexities, but the team at Bairstow Eves were absolutely relentless in ensuring that our sale progressed and exchanged (thanks to both Laura and Sam). Money well spent.

    Wast of time. I'm a landlord and have had to chase them 3 times on different occasions because they have seriously cocked up! Today it's because they haven't sent through a tenants money for 4 months. Avoid them like the plague. I'm going to ditch them today.
