As a former tenant, I strongly dissuade anyone from renting properties with Harrisons lettings agency. It is a mystery if they have done their due diligence for the landlord of 10 Ranelagh Road, NW104UT. Having rented in Edinburgh, I've never had any issues with previous landlords or agents. Similar to Omar's review of Harrisons, I faced a deposit dispute with the landlord who wanted to claim my deposit which was rightfully mine. I was facing harrassments from the former landlord and with <24hrs notice of my personal space in the house which no agents from Harrisons offered a lending hand to professionally help resolve this situation. The DPS has now returned my deposit after 3 months of patiently waiting and a clear losing case for the landlord of NW104UT. As a team and company, they have not delivered; they did not attempt to help with the harrassments from my former landlord, and their insensitivity towards my difficult situation has left a terrible impression for not just myself but those who personally heard about my situation. Individually, Darwin [lead agent] and Jamie are both very friendly. Jamie was understanding about my deposit dispute situation however, Harrisons as a company would not be recommended for anyone from a tenant's perspective. If you like to receive service that goes above and beyond, this is NOT the agency for you. This review is not a personal attack on the agents individually but rather to highlight the flaws within the company and for anyone considering to rent with them, to beware of the upcoming hazards.... This is one of the worst properties agency I lived with, However I'm just trying to advice anyone find a place with this guys, When you come in to the office everything is fine friendly and all good, As soon as you have any problem they can't do anything basically they don't care, And the worst think is the deposit take so long to get it back in this pandemic so if you struggle they don't care too, Anyway take me about 3 month to have my deposit back was has been holding for no reason, Good luck everyone. ????...
