Absolutely terrible! Firstly, the agency woke me up/ disturbed me at any time during the day if they had a viewing! Secondly, they asked me to pay a BIG deposit (more than a grand usually) in the beginning of the year and then tried any possible excuse just so they can keep my deposit. Excuses ranging from sweat on the mattress to finger marks on the desk. Hence, ultimately I ended up not getting my deposit back/ getting back very very little back! Thirdly, if any problems and anything brakes, it will take a long time for them to have an arrangement to fix it and if they don't feel like it they will use the same excuse " it's the tenants responsibility, not ours" (be ready to hear that phrase from them A LOT.) If this is not bad enough, then let me tell you how unfriendly the staff are especially one older lady. ( I don't want to say names.) That particular lady fought with me over the phone, despite the fact that I am their client and she is supposed to be helping me. Oh and how could I forget, do not leave your under ware accidentally in the house once you leave because what they do is they shamelessly take a picture of your under ware and send it to the landlord and your housemates and whoever else they "feel its necessary." This was my experience with the agency since stayed at their property for a year. Honestly just don't use them there are plenty of others. ... Read more

Completely got rid of any responsibility they should have taken. Havent got my deposit back after two weeks, all they would need to do is call the handyman and take the cost from my deposit but theyve washed their hands at this situation. Took money for cleaning even though the property was filthy when we arrived. I walked in the agency and they were happy and smiling until they found out I was already a tenant. Then one of them stopped engaging in the slightest and the other made me feel uncomfortable and was rather unhelpful about the whole situation. They rarely contacted us, and when we tried to get information from them they wouldnt reply. I sent them an email pleading for them to take money out of the deposit so I can at least get some of it back, but they havent replied. Very poor in my opinion and I'm glad that once my deposit is finally returned I wont have to deal with them again.... Read more

I rented a property through Holloways Residential. From the first meeting to the very end of the tenancy, Holloways were very professional and had the best interest of both me and the landlord in everything they did. They are competitive in their rates (not atrociously high as some of the well known rental agencies on the high street). Every request of mine was given utmost importance and followed up. Communication was always very good. Their transparency and professionalism shines through. As a tenant you can be worry free about your deposit as long as you take proper care of the property. I would thoroughly recommend them for being the best at what they do.... Read more

Being a tenant in one of the houses managed by Holloway's Residential I am delighted to be their client! Me and my housemates have had a lot of problems with other agencies, but in this one the staff found us a house super quickly and did all the paperwork smoothly. Always responding to any requests we have, Holloways Residential's have proved to be the mosst helpful. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a house or letting a property.... Read more
