Wow it’s good to know that I was removed from the system then, even better service. We were with homehub for 6 months in 2022. March- August. I have all communications with them which I am more than happy to share with you. I escalated my issue and was told it was sent to an ombudsman and never heard anything since. Also not sure why my review did not show up but I will post it again. Please stay away from Homehub if you are new to the country. They will charge you an inflated price and then drop the price of rent a few days after you sign the contract. The manager John is completely unhelpful and is unfit to be a manager and he is also the director so there’s a definite problem if you ever try complaining he will never budge on his own opinions. Apartment was very old and was uninhabited for many years. The state in which we received the apartment was dreadful as we had to clean every inch of the place. From food stains on the carpet to tobacco and cigarette butts in between the couch. A disgraceful agency. I repeat PLEASE DONT DO ANY DEALING WITH HOMEHUB If John is involved.... Read more

I am a worker who wants to rent a room but has been denied because I have kids. It has gotten to the level that they wouldn't allow me to view any of their property because I have kids that are not living with me. And I can't rent any of their rooms. Now I think this is wrong and some kind of discrimination
The staff I spoke to at approximately 16:50 today, being the 6th of March, 2023, was rude because i tried to explain my situation.
The kids are not even living with me, and I was to explain to them that by law, the kids are not allowed to live. we me in a room, but I am allowed to see them.
Where I decided to see my kids shouldn't be a problem. And kids don't have to come to my one room for heaven sake.
I have kids, but they don't live with me.
So don't bring in council policy when I am not going to live with them, and you don't even know if my kids are in the uk or even know if my kids are adults living in their own flats before discriminating.
There is no justification. You guys are just rude and think you can treat people the way you want.... Read more

Any review over 1 star must be fake.
The worst company with horrible people, letting out homes falling apart and covered in mold with no intention of fixing them.

*Update* I was very keen to move into Dorval Manor, there was a huge lack of communication. I paid my holding fee and eventually paid the deposit when they got back to me. 2 days before I was surpose to move in I finally had some repsonse. Just to tell me they have not got the gas and electric certificate. They did not know when it was going to be done. Only allowing me 2 days before I could have became homeless. Thankfully they was another agency (look at my reviews) that were able to help me with the minimal time I had.
Homehub is a company that do not care for their customers. They lack communication. It was all now hill.... Read more

I tried to rent a flat from HomeHub back in July 2021 and paid a holding deposit. It’s now almost 1 year on and I have just managed to get my deposit money back through taking them to small claims court. I was accused of lying, creating false emails/identities and hacking their system, etc. Luckily the judge who heard the case actually saw the truth hence why I got my money back! I should have never been treated this way at all and even though I have received my money back in full now, I haven’t had a single apology from any member of their team. Utterly disgraceful business - avoid at all costs if you don’t want any trouble!... Read more

THIEVES!
The WORST housing agents in the UK...
I don't usually leave Reviews but I'm appaled, disgusted and shocked by the way home hub treats it's tenants. You're better off homeless than wasting your money by choosing them.
Here I will list some of the things they've done/would do again....
- Invade your privacy: on multiple occasions someone representing home hub went into MY room that I payed for with no notice and no right to do so (as stated in the tenancy agreement a 24 hour notice period is required). Like the time they arrived with a potential tenant to have a look at a room.... my room, while I was home. There's also no communication. When anyone is moving in; no notice whatsoever is given, a surprise new face in your home without notice can be startling to say the least.
- Will not fix basic issues: the plumbing was done cheap and incorrectly leading to repeated issues with the sink and drainage, it would take MONTHS for them to send someone out and they would just unblock it, not fix the issue causing the problem. The oven broke down over and over again and again it took a long time for them to send someone out and still didn't fix that also.
- Theft: Recently a Tenant had their expensive Jet ski Stolen from WITHIN the garden, they were understandably very shocked and worried (you're meant to feel safe leaving your stuff in your garden right?), when they phoned home hub to report it as Stolen (this was no easy task to steal as the garden is closed in, pics below), they were informed that it was infact home hub themselves that stole the Ski and trashed (really trashed) the garden whilst at it. When asked to return it, they claimed they stole it because it was 'abandoned'; trying to claim it was a previous tenants with no evidence to endorse this. Home hub's final response towards the upset tenant being for them to phone the police.
Unacceptable, distressing and frankly very oppressive towards tenants who now feel and I quote "violated" in their own home. Why should anyone PAY to be have to live like this?
This is just a few examples of how they treat people who rely on them. If you're here looking for a place to feel safe and call home, keep looking.... Read more

An absolute disgrace from start to finish. Poor communication non answering of phones . We were given a date for moving and were only this would not happen late on the Friday afternoon when we were meant to be moving that evening ,the reason was that they did not have the electrical certificate and did not know when it would be available . We were left homeless and incurred large cost from having to find accomodation and storage for furniture . All the agent said was it was the landlord fault . Avoid like the plague ,the worst experience of my life .... Read more

Absolutely vile service all around.
The woman at the end of the phone, Jasmine, was dismissive, condescending, and rude. Was not remotely interested in any of a long list of complaints and issues raised. Denied information about their tenant, and shirked responsibility of anything related to the entire process of renting a room, instead advising only to contact the landlord.
When asked, subsequently, what it is that homehub actually DO do, they said they collect the money and pass it on to the landlord. By all accounts, a paramount service.
Expect, if you are renting a room advertised by homehub, to have people moved in without any heads up, whether they are professional or not. Whether they smoke (cigarettes, or marijuana), despite their adverts stating that they are non smoking properties. Also, do not expect any warning of who will be moved in together, not even a simple courtesy of "hi, we have this prospective tenant we're looking to move in. They're 25 and work at x company, would you be happy with this?". Expect them to be rude on the phone, deny any concerns you put forward and hang up on you. Expect them not to follow covid protocols.
The lowest common denominator for lettings agents you should be lucky enough to find. Do yourself a favour and go private.... Read more

This woman Suzzanne mallows from home hub is disgraceful.
She promised and I agreed on a certain date on my tenancy agreement to be update , so I can make the payments.
She claimed that she has emailed me the updates, she has not it's been roughly two weeks and a half. I have been emailing her and called no responds.
I strongly suggest to be careful with them.
I will not recommend them.... Read more

I don't think I have ever given a 1 star review, but seems like this will be the first. Just moved out of a room managed by them last week and I felt very strongly that the staff are extremely unprofessional / incompetent / forgetful and make too many mistakes. A water leak from my ceiling took a month to fix and I had to take matters into my own hands to sort out a WiFi connectivity issue (the property came with WiFi). Staff needed to be chased up on literally everything including adding invoices for rent payments and even wrongfully assumed I missed a payment for which I had to go into my statements and break everything down via email as you would explain to a 5 year old. Seems like it would have been better to not have an agency at all than to have HomeHub as your agency. At the end of the tenancy, even though I had given my notice more than a month and a half in advance, they seemed to have "forgotten" and seemed fully ready to charge me for an extra month when I asked for confirmation about the final rent payment with 3 weeks left to the tenancy. The room itself had nothing wrong with it and the salesperson was very good however it is not hard to sell a room that looks nice and the real work from the agency comes when they have to deal with you as a tenant at which HomeHub fails miserably....
