Your Move Southampton (London Road) branch have been fantastic, from start to finish.
Moving house is stressful but the team that I dealt with, Charlie, Francis, Max and of course amazing Sam (Sales Manager) have really supported the sale of my house! Cheers guys.
I would highly recommend and will use again!... Read more

We have used YourMove in Southampton as a letting agent for many years and recently also used their sales services. They continue to offer a professional service and we had no problems or questions they could deal with appropriately. I highly recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell, or from the lettings side of things where they remain our preferred agent. We would have no hsitate in using them again.... Read more

Keep getting useless newsletter and other emails. Clicked unsubscribe, still getting them. Contacted Your Move and they say you have to contact the branch. Contacted the branch twice and they still won't stop sending me emails. Have reported to ICO now... Read more

Very good experience with the Your Move Southampton team for a property sale. I interacted mainly with Charlie, Frances, and Samantha. A detailed valuation and explanation of the process was provided together with honest guidance. They arranged property viewings well, providing clear notice and feedback, and later managed communications with the seller and the conveyancer while keeping me up to date on any changes. The team were easy to reach by phone and very efficient, always quick to follow up on urgent items to ensure the sale progressed.... Read more

I have had a great experience of using Your Move in Southampton. Charlie came to estimate the sale price of my house and was really upfront and honest, I felt I could trust him immediately as he was saying his honest opinions rather than what I might want to hear as other estate agents had done. Frances was great througout, arranging my viewing of properties for me to buy and always prompt and helpful. Then finally Sam has been really tenacious in getting my purchase through and driving the solicitors onwards. Thanks to you all so much! A really great experience.... Read more

I just purchased my first home through Your Move and my experience with them was absolutely positive. Most of my interactions were with Max, Charlie and Samantha, and they were very friendly and helpful throughout. What I appreciated particularly was that they provided me with detailed documentation on the property when I first viewed it. This made things very transparent and also came in handy later on, when applying for a mortgage, etc. Communication was also very clear throughout the process. They also didn't try to badger me into getting additional products (like a mortgage) from them, which is what I've experienced with some other estate agents. As far as I recall, they offered to help with the mortgage. But when I politely declined, that was respected and I appreciated this a lot. When I sell/ buy in the future, I'll definitely go with them again.... Read more

Beware of hidden charges! At first I thought Your Move was a really good estate agent. However, I realised the goodness was only because they were holding my deposit. During the end of tenancy at the time of releasing my deposit, I was heavily charged for cleaning service. Even the landlord and the quarterly review Instructors said that the flat was kept in a clean condition. When I asked for the cleaning invoice, I was sent a basic invoice just showing the amount saying cleaning charges!. Agent Josephine did not even try to help to speak to the landlord or the cleaning company regarding the ridiculous amount. I felt very bad as even after keeping the flat clean and tidy by treating it as my own, I was charged a heavy amount. I will definitely not be using Your Move again! I trusted Your Move with my holding deposit but they clearly broke my trust. Anyways, money lost can be earned but they have definitely lost a valued customer!... Read more

Although the process from offer accepted to exchange was a good 7 months, Samantha, Max and Charlie have been so supportive. This was especially evident in the past 3 months, where external agencies needed chasing! Thank you so much for you help and support.
A great team to work with.... Read more

Disaster from start to finish.
A few days after I paid a holding deposit on an apartment, I was called and told the landlord had changed their mind and no longer wanted to rent it out. My holding deposit was returned to me.
A few days later, I was again called to be told the landlord did now want to rent it again. I paid the holding deposit again, and moved in.
After just 4 months of a 12-month lease, your move contacted me to say the landlord wanted to move back into the property so could I move out? I said no, my lease was for 12 months.
I moved out 2 weeks before my 12 months was up and was told decorators would be going straight in. Then a few days later, I received my moving out report to discover I was being blamed for decorating materials being left in the property, mess in the sinks, etc! I disputed this immediately and was told the landlord would look over things shortly.
I’ve now been out of the property for over a month and am yet to receive my deposit back. When I’ve chased this up with the agent, I’ve been told to open a dispute and essentially chase it myself. The agent Josephine who I’m dealing with seems to have zero interest in actually doing her job by chasing up the landlord herself, and seems to think it’s perfectly reasonable to require me to fill in a 4-page form just so she can “give the landlord a deadline” (why on earth have they not been given a deadline anyway?!).
I’m disgusted with the lack of service from this company. Their tagline is “it pays to be with your move” - I beg to differ!!... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
