tenants be aware. these are the last people who you should rent from. they are very rude and unprofessional. they are also threatening me with taking me to court for damages but the house was already damaged when i moved in? they had no proof of me and tenants causing damages as they only had pictures from a year before we moved in. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Please also see their responses to other negative reviews. They do no hold themselves accountable.

Phil was extremely rude to me and my housemates. Accused us of not paying rent even though we provided evidence. We never got our deposit back. Stay away from them!

the home agency were awful to me and everyone in the house. They would constantly harass us claiming we had not paid rent when we all did and provided evidence of this with Phill’s name in every one. And when we asked when the rent had supposedly not been paid they told us to figure it out?? If we are paying YOU money, where has it gone? It shouldn’t been up to us to figure it out. Phill is very rude and 0/10 would not recommend. For context, see how they respond to the other negative reviews… Very telling.

We have been with The Home Agency for more than 6 and a half years and thus far have been treated with a friendly and professional service. They have been very good at managing any issues we have had and the staff have been excellent.

I have dealt with The Home Agency for years because the lettings manager, Phil, is excellent. I like the fact that unlike other lettings agents, Phil works quickly and efficiently to let my properties as well as providing all paperwork in a timely manner. His communication skills with both my potential tenants and myself (The landlord) are excellent. I would highly recommend.

I have dealt with The Home Agency for many years because the lettings manager, Phil, is excellent. I like the fact that unlike other letting agents, Phil is a good communicator both with me (the landlord) and tenants, is professional at all times and supplies all paperwork and relevant details to me quickly. Would definitely recommend Phil.

I have been a tenant with The Home Agency for just over 2 years, and I cannot fault the service provided by Phill from start to finish, any problems which I had reported were resolved quickly and efficiently, I also had a quick return of the deposit at the end of my tenancy. I would highly recommend The Home Agency to others.

We have had a positive experience with the Home Agency during our 2 and a half year tenancy. We really liked our flat (we only moved because we were finally in a position to buy our own home) and if we ever experienced any issues at all, the Home Agency and our landlord dealt with them quickly and efficiently. Our privacy was always respected and any inspections or visits were agreed in advance (of which there were very few). Our deposit was returned in full and in a reasonable timeframe. Phill and the Home Agency team were always very friendly and helpful whenever we were in contact with them. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Home Agency to anyone looking to rent.

I do not generally leave reviews, but I am extremely angry and upset by how my daughter, who is a student trying to return to university, was treated during a phone call yesterday. I requested further information regarding paperwork as her guarantor. I understand that she was on the receiving end of verbal abuse, shouting and swearing, to the point where she had to cancel arrangements to rent a room through your agency and end the conversation. No, she was not trying to tell you how to do your job. She was asking questions politely about the paperwork. And she is absolutely owed an apology.

Expect empty promisses. When I viewed the property I was told, a professional cleaning team will clean it before I move in. When I asked about the poor condition of the walls, I was told they were going to be re-painted. The day I moved in I realised none of this happened, the place was a pig stay. I went to complain but everyone was “on holiday”.
I took a long time thinking whether to post a bad review, I don’t usually complain but I had to.
