The best agency we have ever rented with. We rented a property with them for 4 years and we were so so pleased with their professionalism and how quick they solved any issues when arose. It's a small agency but everything is run very smoothly. Jonathan is incredibly friendly, always very helpful and very kind to us. Personel was nice especially Johnathan We did rent a small flat, process and customer service was ok they are kind ppl Property we rented was very diry it was 10cm dust everywhere, oven was horribly dirty so we didnt use it, damp in the wardrobe. We only moved there for couple of months as it was cheap and we struggled financialy. Basicaly they took our whole deposit. They even took money for oven cleaning which we never used as it was dosgusting???? They also charged me for cleaning and I checked their cleaning company and guess who the owner was - landlord of this property.. so basically my deposit of £600 after 5 months of living there went to their pockets. This is why it was so dirty as they charge you for cleaning which they never do.. If you would like to keep at least half of your deposit then this agency will not give you anything back.. I really regret I have not taken any photos as this flat was in better condition when I left.. They were so nice that I didnt even think they just take your whole deposit and give it to landlord so something is not right with this Agency..... Read more

I have used Clear residential for my rental properties for over 6 years. I was new to renting property and felt in very capable hands with Darren and his team. They took care of everything but were always there to advise if I needed it. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and I feel they have a good relationship with my tenants as well as me. When I had a problem with one tenant they took the stress out of the situation by dealing with it in a professional manner, consulting a solicitor for me, and were concerned for the tenant too. I would highly recommend them. They have a very reasonable charges system, and are proactive, which is not the experience friends have had with other letting agents. Unfortunately they scammed me at the end of my stay in the house i rented. They invented lots of excuses not to return my deposit and didnt even answer the phone anymore. Piece of advice: dont take them on their word, have everything in writing and don't pay anything in advance. Unprofessional agency, find a reliable one. Have been renting the same property since 2011. They have gone above and beyond with their customer care. Nothing has ever been too much for anyone associated with Clear. I rented a custom built studio flat (bed out the wall jobbie) Did have a major problem when part of the bed broke (through age) flat was built in the 80s and the company that made the pull down bed had long since vanished. Had to have a complete new bed, wardrobe combination. Clear kept me informed with everything. Only other problems were minor and when I phoned someone was always out to me the same day. Unlike other estate/letting agents they also leave you alone completely. None of the check ups to make sure you are keeping it spotless!! Darren and co, using the treat you like adults and trust you. Even though one of their employees was the most helpful agent I've met, the promise of new windows (made before signing the contract) was a lie (we waited and asked several times during our 18 month tenancy). As we vacated the property we were sent pictures with clearly modified contrast in order for the carpets to look stained (they were old and dirty when we first moved as the agent agreed) just to charge us an extra. Never did the "deep clean" they promised before we moved in. They never in 5 years came to view the property we were renting and serviced the boiler once in those 5 years. On leaving they tried to dupe us for £295 from our deposit saying the property was "dusty". We had three months of dispute where the deposit scheme decided in our favour.
