I had a viewing today and after been outside the property waiting and trying to contact them, Grace Salvini sent me an email saying that the property is no longer available. They said they called me and left a voicemail but I don’t have any missed call or voicemail at all. I also had to ask for the day off at work to do this viewing as I need to move asap.
Very unprofessional and a waste of time.

AVOID AT ALL COST!
What an absolute joke of a company. I was looking for an accommodation back in August. They almost never reply to your emails. If you call them up, they just collect your details, tell you that they will send you an email and ignore you for days. They advertise accommodations on their websites that are not even available anymore. It takes their agents weeks to reply to your emails and messages. They tell you that an accommodation is available, ignore your messages for a whole week and then they inform you that they gave the accommodation to someone else. They are wasting your time, energy and money. There’s zero communication between the different departments. They don’t care about their customers at all.

Could give 0 star if I could. Moved out of my apartment and asked for my deposit back - they tried to charge me £86 for "cleaning service" despite I left the house in the same, high standard & clean condition when I moved in (got photos to prove & the report says so too). They insisted that the apartment is only "domestically cleaned to a high standard" & they needed it to be "professionally cleaned"...What guidelines are they using to define Professional vs domestically cleaned??? (It's also illegal to charge for cleaning services).
Asked them for the receipt to prove the apartment was "professional cleaned" when I moved in & asked them for the itemized bill for the move out cleaning service to see what they were "cleaning" - to no response on that. Straight to the TDS dispute & court

Disappointing services. I asked the property manager to get the acceptance from the tenant to pay for the cleaning fee as the check out report mentions further cleaning needed. She arranged the cleaning and deduct tenant’s deposit without their acceptance. Eventually, the tenant lodged a dispute to TDS.
New tenant moved in for less than a month and requested to fix the door. JLL paid the expense by deducting from the rent without my consent. It’s not the first time, unacceptable!
Check in report is yet to be received after 1 mth since new tenant moved in. Chased the report but no response.

Have lived in a JLL property for almost 2 years and been really impressed with the service so far. My partner and I have had terrible experiences with other letting agents in the past (problems not being sorted, slow responses from the team etc) but JLL is nothing like that. Our property manager Catherine is fab and anytime we have needed a contractor sent out (only twice for very small issues) Catherine has turned it round in a matter of hours for us. When you’re a renter it’s really comforting knowing you’re in safe hands if something goes wrong! Recommend!

Wouldn’t give them a single start if it wasn’t for requiring at least one to leave a review.
Called over 40 times to confirm a date of when I will be moving in to my new property and I have never received a call back from any of those calls. We keep getting told tomorrow we will receive our contract confirming this but we have been told this for almost a week now.
Absolute shambles of a company and would not recommend unless you have every hour of the day to chase them and even then good luck!

AVOID like the plague. Never fixed anything we complained about during our year long tenancy. Arranged three inspections that we cleaned and got out of the house for (I WFH so I had to let work know) and Catherine no showed us three times believe it or not. Now it has been weeks since we’ve moved out and we have no word about when we’re getting our deposit back and they’re ignoring us asking where our deposit is held so we can make a dispute.

Chased up an Apartment for 6 weeks before it was listed online as I was in talks with the people moving out and they were happy to move out earlier out of kindness and convenience to me.
Messaged Kathy from JLL to explain the situation- took 6 weeks of going back & forth with her and offering to pay a holding fee and rent upfront only to see the property listed online after all my efforts.
Kathy, didn’t call me once to update me nor show that she actually cares about a potential client.
After expressing my annoyance, I was ignored.
Wouldn’t bother dealing with JLL again if you payed me.

I took a flat from JLL , I started getting multiple issues from day 1 in the property. I dropped multiple emails with the issue, but for multiple days there was no response. I had to pay additional money to stay in a hotel. The service has been pathetic. I would not recomend any to take a house from JLL.

Poor service. Started all well, didn’t finish very well. First, this agency didn’t inform us about law changes about how much notice you need to provide to a tenant before they move out. Second, they posted keys to the WRONG address ignoring the one provided in an email; and there was no name and no return address! Quite unprofessional.

He very quickly understood exactly what we were looking for & showed us 3 properties that exactly matched the brief. Lukas was also available even after hours to answer any questions. I would highly suggest you DONT use JLL from both a tenant and landlord perspective. I am a tenant moving out, I never got sent an inventory at the start therefore the landlord has no protection over the property and i am entitled to my deposit back in full no matter what. I have been ignored, hung up on ect... the list goes on. DO NOT USE

I had a very peculiar situation when it came to moving into the Lightbox. It was right at the beginning of lockdown with a lot of fear and uncertainty at the time so I was eager to move in very quickly.
There are so many people I would like to thank for making that happen so quickly.
I want to thank Faye Hamilton, Edite Muceniece, Katy Henstock and Oliver Dolan who were extremely professional, efficient and most importantly for me, kind when dealing with my move. The team made it possible for me to move in before everyone went on lockdown. (This was vital for me as I am a 23 year old professional)
However, the biggest thanks and special, special mention goes by a certain Lukas. (sorry I didn’t catch your second name) Lukas showed took me on a couple of viewings and the reason I am extremely grateful and thankful to Lukas is because I was still at a stage where I was deciding between a couple of places and I must say Lukas’s charisma, professionalism and dedication to the cause is what convinced me to move into the Lightbox and go with JLL.
He wasn’t trying to force sell the apartment to me but he was extremely empathetic and wanted to find the best solution for me, it just happened to be the Lightbox.
I Highly highly recommend Lukas and JLL. It’s 2 months since I have moved in and I can’t keep enjoying this wonderful apartment without thanking the people who made it happen! Big love!

Extremely poor experience, incompetent customer service. I have rented with them for a month now and I am unable to shower since the day I moved in since my shower is missing a piece. I have contacted them nearly every day for a month and no one has helped me in any way.

Leased out my apartment through them and contracted them to manage it as well. Once contract was signed, their after-service went downhill.
The property manager, Gurjit was not helpful at all! She was totally not professional, inexperienced and did not handle any issues properly. I felt most of the time, she was bias towards the tenant.
Prior to the tenancy, I had engaged JLL for a PAT test but was only notified after 3 months when the tenant reported a problem with the appliance. Whenever the tenant reported issues with the flat, the property manager did not investigate on the issue i.e. whether the tenant had misuse it or caused damaged to it, however only insisted that I as the landlord to pay for all the damage/ repair.
I’ve paid JLL every month to manage the property, yet most of the time, I felt I was managing the property myself! I had to engage my own contractor to visit the property and to ‘investigate’ the issues due to the incompetence of the property manager. She initially sent me quotation from JLL's contractor, to which I thought the contractor had inspected the appliances. Afterwards, she only informed me that she herself had carried out the 'inspection' and only sent photos to the contractor for quotation. This is not the way to manage a property! Sending photos is not how you solve an electrical problem or provide a quotation!! She even accused my contractor of not giving notice to the tenant when in fact the tenant had already agreed for my contractor for the visit. Also, she even asked me to ‘repair’ trivial issues like shower blockage. This clearly falls under the responsibility of the tenant! A property manager should know that!
The tenant has moved out of the property for nearly two months yet I was not given a check-out inspection report. I had to personally requested for it!! When I read the report, to my horror, one of the towel rail was damaged/ removed from the wall. I subsequently informed the property manager and she simply responded that the tenant could not be charged for the repair and stated that “items break throughout the tenancy and tenant could not be charged”. I told her that this was contrary to the tenancy agreement and she replied saying that I have to go through Tenancy Deposit Scheme for any compensation.
Overall management experience: 0/10
Do not engage them in managing your property, unless you want to pay them and do their work for them!

Had Edite in charge of our flat, service has been fantastic from her will all issues sorted very quickly. Would definitely recommend JLL for their service.
Biggest issue was we were not told that none of the windows in the flat opened and no air conditioning meaning the summer was intolerable with the flat feeling like a sauna.
Beware of 52, 54 & 56 Broadway, Salford Quays.

Awful service by one employee there - thomas farrar. Failure to tell us when moving in that there is hot water bill and a separate cold water bill, and then 9 months after moving in tells us we are in a arrears of the bill which wasn't even in our name it had been getting sent to the landlord and should have been transferred to our name when we moved in. He hit us with the bill and expected us to pay within 7 days. He did not understand how completely wrong it was of them not to tell us he was rude, unfriendly and very very unprofessional. For a big company it is sad that someone like that can bring it down so much. On top of that i was pregnant at the time and he was still treating us like we were ants compare to him. Pathetic

Their after service is absolutely the worst! I have been living in the property advertised by them for a few months now but whenever I've encountered any problems all they did was to direct me to the landlord, who wasnt easy to reach. From the first day onwards the problems have never ceased to exist!
1) the property was not cleaned thoroughly when I first arrived. They said They've called some so called professional cleaners to clean the house but I couldn't see anything that was even close to clean! The floors were filthy and everything from the previous tenants weren't even cleared out of the house.
2) many other problems which are too onerous to list out here
In short, if i have the chance to turn back time, i most certainly would not choose JLL as my agent ever again due to their irresponsible behaviour. Dont get sucked into their fake professional persona. Find some other agents.

We booked an appointment to view a number of apartments on a Saturday afternoon to view with JLL and each time a new apartment was placed on rightmove that we wanted to see, this was booked in straightaway for us, no waiting, no questions re mortgages - very professional. Our representative from JLL was Leanne Hargreaves. From the initial meeting with Leanne she had a very warm welcoming smile and was very friendly. Leanne was very knowledgeable about all the developments we viewed and gave us insight into Manchester, as we have never purchased in Manchester, this knowledge was welcomed by us. Leanne placed no pressure on us to purchase any of the apartments like some other estate agents we have dealt with in the past. We met up Leanne on a further 2 occasions to view the apartments we had already viewed to enable us to make an informed decision. To enable this to happen, Leanne squeezed us in despite her tight viewings schedule. As a result of all of this excellent good customer, we have now purchased an apartment with her. The after sales service from Leanne has been fantastic too and appreciated by us. Leanne is our opinion is an asset to JLL.
