Mia took my call and even though she was going on a half day and was leaving work early she didn’t hesitate to allow me to view the property later that morning with her. She very professionally gave me a tour of the property and answered any questions. She had her business card at the ready for me to contact her if I needed anything else. A very friendly and helpful member of staff at Manchester Bridgfords branch.

Stacey walked me through the options, explained everything in detail despite my constant questioning. Stacey was always available to talk too, or was answering emails, not having sold a property in many years dealing with Stacey was an absolute blessing. I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone either looking to buy, or sell a house as she is a true professional. I can’t thank her enough for her expertise (my house sold in 15 days), thanks to Stacey the stress and worry never happened and I was thankful for that. Stacey, thank you again you are the best.
9th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)After using 2 previous estate agents for the sale of our property Aubrey Lee excelled in getting our house sale completed. Laurence was there throughout liaising between us and our potential purchasers. The quality of the photos by Aubrey Lee was night and day using a professional photographer at no additional cost made the photos pop on the advert compared to the iPhone taken photos of other agents. Eleanor and Sisi in the office were also great in liaising between estate agents for my onward purchase and my unresponsive solicitor. I have no hesitation in recommending Aubrey Lee

Had a few obstacles along the way (usual with solicitors / buyer questions), but navigated through all of this keeping us informed throughout and working really closely with our solicitors and buyers to complete the sale. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again ??????

4th Feb 2026 (9 weeks ago)I would never recommend someone to work with Johns and Co! I have had a tenant and without fail since the tenant has moved in the rent has never been paid on time. When they found this tenant they called me and pressured me everyday to say this would be a good tenant and how he was a student abroad and the country the student was from a country where they paid for their accommodation. There is not one month I have received this rent on time! I can’t stress enough do not use Johns and Co at no circumstance if you don’t want to be ripped off and stressed out!

The team were so reassuring and skilled in guiding us through each step. Jess, Kimberley, Nathan and Rob in the office is unbelievably good at pushing solicitors and estate agents alike, as well as keeping us updated. Thanks again to everyone at The Property Man for helping us move into our dream home!
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

1st Apr 2026 (9 days ago)Maddison Ridway showed me the listing and was very friendly, answered all my questions and concerns. I was very impressed with the property and the company’s professionalism. *3 weeks Later* I was dead wrong and should have paid attention to the bad reviews. I moved here yesterday and I have been treated very poorly throughout the process. My move in date was changed, the property managers do not care about you once your payment has been received. I was given the keys to a dirty apartment, the agreed changes were not implemented and no one - including my point of contact- during the letting process wants to take responsibility. Now I’m stuck with these many difficulties to navigate and when if you ring or email them, it takes ages to get a response Lest I forget , the tone of voice in the calls and messages were so callous and aggressive, I regret committing to a tenancy with them. Deal with them at the expense of your sanity.
