Franc was amazing!!!
He's incredibly knowledgeable about the area which really helped me as I recently moved to Manchester and without his knowledge I think I would've still been looking for a place !
He's a great asset to your team well done Franc keep up the good work ????????????????????????
I have rented a flat in the city from this amazing agency called Dandara that charged me £250 admin fee, 6 weeks rent as deposit and one months rent before I moved in. I have been away and moved back to Manchester and decided I wanted to rent in different location and for some unfortunate reason JT has most of the apartments in that area. A friend of mine who previously rented a flat from them told me to beware as they tried to extract as much money as they could from him. SO I called them to give me a breakdown of everything, they charge £230 admin fee, £150 check in fee (her words were this is for the management to show you around the apartment and show how things work, and it can't be avoided), six weeks rent as deposit, one months rent and when you leave cleaning charges. She told me other agencies charge check out fee, I am sorry I have never been charged for something like this and I have phoned many agencies since, none of them seems to charge for checking in or out. And in my experience I have always cleaned the flat myself before I checked out, I clean the carpet and everything else and as long as they are happy, I don't get charged from my deposit. Any marks on the wall are never charged as they are bound to happen and are under wear and tear. I would therefore suggest even though JT have some nice apartments if you don't want to be extorted of all your money find a more trustworthy loyal agency like Makeurmove - their admin fees are very flexible and they don't try to murder you with charges or Dandara they have apartments in two sides of the city, very beautiful well maintained and the staff are a bliss, they have no hidden charges or fees. Because quite frankly I am scared of them even though I like the apartments, I am worried in the future they will charge more for other unreasonable things and I will be helpless.
Great experience of buying my first house - Thanks Hollie for all your help and making it such a quick and easy buy!
Unless you want to be lied to, deceived and ripped off then I would completely avoid this company. They never answer their calls and when they eventually do get back to you they lie about offers that they have had on a property to deceive you into buying a property at a higher price. This was proved when my partner put in an offer for a house to which the estate agent told him there had already been 3 other offers at higher prices, my mother then contacted them the next day and asked about the house and they stated that they had only had one offer on the house (my partner's!!) thus proving them liars! there's absolutely no customer care here it is literally all about them getting as much money out of you as they can! I'd go with Bridgefords if I were you, at least they answer the phone.
Recently bought a house through Keenans. They kept me well informed throughout all stages and were always professional, friendly and eager to help. I will definitely use them next time I'm moving and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!
Keenan's is the worst estate agents I have ever come across. The staff at the Manchester branch are absolutely appalling, they constantly lied to us, they didn't put in our offers when they said they did. When we finally got a house and our offer was accepted, they still let people view the property and they let other people put higher offers on the house, which lead us to lose the house. When I complained about the way we were treated the staff dismissed everything, when we rang to speak to the manager members of staff kept hanging up the phone. I did not meet one decent member of staff whilst dealing with Keenan's. I advice that if your wanting to buy/rent/sell a house do not go to Keenan's they have no work ethics and only care about themselves, not their clients.
I am very pleased with the service I received from Kath and Rachel. Explained every step of the process and were always on hand to offer help when needed. Professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend
Wasted my time and money.
I planned to take a day off work and drove an 8hr round trip to view a property. The agent seemed like he was in such a rush and couldn't get me out fast enough. He did not seemed bothered at all.
After being told that our offer was accepted and they would take the house off the market once we paid for a surveyor to view the property and once we got a AIP.
We sent the surveyor in and they day we were going to get the report back and AIP, we were told that we had been outbid and we would have to increase our offer, even though the people who put the new offer in didn't even have a surveyors report.
Not only did I waste my time and money, the agent took his sweet time replying to our emails and didn't even answer all our questions.
This is not an agent I will deal with again in the future.
My son and his girlfriend have recently moved to Manchester and are renting a property with Jordan Fishwick and I can honestly say the service we have received has been fab - a big thank you to Alex, Alex and Lisa for all of your help !
I have endured nothing but bad experiences with this landlord.
No repair is ever fixed without me chasing it 4 times.
I have faced surprise inspections with little or no notice and criticised for the way my personal items things look at the property, however they choose the shower curtains of all things.
I have had many letters sent to me demanding over due rent only to find it out to be their mistake and the mistake to be repeated a week later.
We had a wet floor for over a week over christmas due to a leak they didn't get fixed for us after us reporting it several times. We asked for simple changes to be made to make the property more insulated such as carpet instead of laminated flooring. To this they told us the changes had been agreed so we would renew our contract and then just laid carpet down (with no under lay so it is as cold as ever) so there is now a freezing concrete floor with a single layer of carpet over it and subsequently a large gap between the skirting board and the carpet all of the way around the room.
All in all bad communication and bad at following up anything you'd expect them to do as your agent. The reviews on here seem to reflect the same experience where the tennent is very unhappy with the experience.
Hannah really did a great job and went out of her way to make sure that all queries were resolved between agents and the management company of the apartments so we could complete on time.
Booked a viewing and the agent was more than 30 minutes late. This was how they behaved even BEFORE I handed over admin fee and deposit. Just imagine how they would treat you afterwards. I didn't even bother to see the flat after standing outside it for half an hour when the agent told me he still needed another 15 minutes to get there. Among so many estate agents in Manchester, why does anyone have to use the one that can't even show up on time?
