10th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
11th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We had a really positive experience with Reeds Rains (Salford Quay branch) and would especially like to thank Ian Jordan and Hannah Warham for all their help and support with the Find a Tenant service that we requested.<br>This was our first experience of renting a property and they were both incredibly helpful, professional and approachable throughout the whole process. Thank you both for your patience.

A tricky sale that went through several iterations but staff were patient and professional and got things done quickly. We would definitely use Reeds Rains again and in particular choosing a branch local to the property sold.
15th Jun 2026 (13 weeks ago)The initial meeting to value the property, the subsequent meeting to take photos and the organising of the paperwork was great, we were impressed, which was why we went with them. Unfortunately, after 14 weeks on the market they had only got us 2 viewings and their communication to us was a bit hit and miss, so we decided to go with a different agent. They weren’t the right agent for us on this occasion.- 5th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had a fantastic experience with Your Move from start to finish. Emily and Lee were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the whole process. They kept me informed every step of the way, answered all of my questions quickly, and made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their excellent communication and support really stood out, and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend Your Move, especially Emily and Lee, to anyone looking to buy or rent a property. Thank you both for all your help!

The team was professional, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Their knowledge of the local property market and attention to detail really stood out. 22nd Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I once excellent company completely wrecked by its new owners. The company used to be very easy to communicate with, now its easier to communicate with the dead. They use to be polite, but Northwood regard tenants as an inconvenience. I had eight years of good experiences but the ninth is a mess, and its all because Northwood, the new owners, are terrible. It must have taken a lot of effort to transform a great company into one I am now writing a one-star review for on every platform I can find, but they managed it.
28th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.

Communication to us throughout was excellent and we were kept up to date with all developments, the cost of selling the property was very competitive and the price realised for the property was as estimated by them….. thank you Irlam Estates!

Dewi Jones was able to put my property up for sale online within a week, and immediately we had multiple viewings. I got the price I wanted and it was a easy process as Dewi is professional and communicates regularly, he was always available to have a quick chat and keep me up to date.

11th Sep 2026 (6 days ago)Sell well managed to sell our house very quickly we were really happy with the quality of the advert and the photos gave of a great example of what our house had to offer.<br><br>Their communication throughout was very good.<br><br>Claire who was in charge of our sale was really efficient and communicated very well with us and the buyer.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Sell Well and we would 100% use their services again in the future.
7th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I found the information pack produced by Oliver James very useful when deciding which estate agent to use. I was promptly inform of every step of the selling process. I cannot praise Oliver James and his staff enough for making a potentially stressful experience so easy.
3rd Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Jack was responsive throughout the purchase of my property and, whenever I contacted him, he helped move matters forward. He also remained helpful after completion when I needed further information about the property. His communication style could sometimes feel quite abrupt, and some early paperwork needed correcting, but overall he was effective and helped bring the purchase to completion. The Prosecco and card when I collected the keys were also a lovely and thoughtful touch!
26th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)As a landlord I would say you should avoid dealing with Taylor Jackson. They were dire at best. Totally incompetent as letting agents. Problems we had: The tenants rent was agreed but he never paid the full amount. They falsified a Tenancy agreement, we only found this out when we sold the property. They did not inspect the property. They held onto money the tenant did pay, we only found out by accident that the Tenant had paid, I am fairly sure had we not found out they would never have paid and their accounting system is dreadful. They had work carried out for us and we did not get any invoices just a charge. The tenant owed 18 months rent in the end so we sold the property. Good riddance Taylor Jackson!

11th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have had the best year renting a property with The Property Place. From start to finish they have been incredibly helpful and kind to myself and the other tenants. Sophie and Emma have gone above and beyond to look after us- I am sad to say goodbye! I seriously couldn’t recommend them anymore to other people.
3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with X1 Sales & Management. I spent over an hour trying to get through on the phone, but nobody answered and I was left on hold.<br><br>I was allocated a parking space but was given a broken parking remote. I called to report the issue, but no one picked up, so I had to travel to the office in person. Unfortunately, I was simply given another remote that was also broken. No one had tested it beforehand, resulting in a completely unnecessary journey, wasted travel expenses and wasted time.<br><br>I also submitted the issue through the maintenance portal, but have received no response.<br><br>The lack of communication and basic customer service is extremely frustrating. I would expect much better management and support from a professional property management company.
