Purchased an office chair recently, came incomplete, missing the whole middle part that puts everything together (see photo). The description did not mention anything about it being incomplete, it just stated "LAZBOY OFFICE CHAIR". The photos did not indicate that there would be missing parts. Now I'm out £168 and pieces of a chair. Please be careful and don't bid to avoid dissapointment and financial burdens.... Read more

Please be aware, they can also sell counterfeit or faulty/ damaged items as I found. Recently bought a well known divers watch they advertised in a online auction, when I recieved the watch it was broken and used but looked to of been covered up with repairs. I paid well over the odds for a faulty watch and once I asked about what to do they just reffered me to the pages of small print and terms and conditions that basically don't hold them to accountable for anything.
Also, I would add that if this is the first time you are bidding online once you place a bid it adds another few minuets to the bidding timer. Way longer than what you would get in the actual auction house, a sneaky tacktic I found that runs up the price of items being sold.... Read more

I went to John Pye hq in Nottingham on 15/01/24 to pick up a TV I won in their online Auction on 12/01/24. I managed to find the building by using Google maps on my phone. They have 8 sale rooms. You can find some bargains on their website. Staff customer service skills were fantastic... Read more

Just as with most of their listings/descriptions, the five star reviews here are likely fake, they use misleading descriptions and photos and then people have to pay for the junk to get delivered to them a process that can take over a month even to just a few miles down the road.. ridiculous and dishonest system, absolutely disgraceful as is the lack of customer service that will always politely tell anyone to just **** off and you can forget about any compensation you deal with this company you take all the risk while they just collect big fat profits, with the amount of people they screw over on a weekly basis they should not be allowed to operate, they must just pay off the right people.... DO NOT BID or BUY anything from this company.
READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!
90% of their stock are either FAULTY or DAMAGED. They are NOT cleaned, tested or refurbished. They are SALVAGE RETURNS.
You do NOT SAVE ANYTHING from buying from them. You will find a better deal from eBay and you can easily get your money back if it is faulty or damaged.... Read more

Biggest scammers I have ever seen. Literally ripped me off 4k. Don’t get auctions cars from them. I bided on the car Ford fiesta. They share the videos of the car where their employe is driving a car to show it is drivable. They mentioned that mot is going to expire next year but the mot was fake when I received the car. Battery was dead I couldn’t drive the car secondly the fly disc was broken was making loud noise when you give ignition. Air con wasn’t working, pain on the bonnet and bumper was gone and they did a sliver spray on it so you can’t see in the video but in real you could see the chunk of the real pain is gone from there. I’m going to sue them in a consumer court. It is my advice to everyone stay away from them.... Read more

Really need to be more and more careful as simple things like missing or broken feet are not in the description or photograph and would be obvious to a person walking around the auction house. Buyer beware if you are internet shopping ????... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
