Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Poor communication, requesting unnecessary information & a complete failure to engage in any meaningful proactivity regarding our letting request, even though we were willing to pay the full term upfront.

Myself and my husband sold our holiday apartment through Jon Mellor. The whole team and particular Wendy were brilliant. They were key holders for the property as we lived elsewhere. They kept us informed of veiwings, feedback and were a real good source of communication between ourselves and our buyer (who lived abroad)... better than the solicitors in some respects! Irresponsible letting agency, Jon Mellor & Co Estate Agents from Buxton.
We viewed apartment with owner, after this on same time we called to letting agency about rent, but they did not answer on the phone. So, we went to J.Mellor office fast as possible, but they closed it about 45 min early as always, and on next day morning just when Mellor opened office, we arrived the first. And surprise - Jon Mellor manager said - apartment not available. How it is possible Jon?! I understand what all companies from Buxton is out off competition, we spend two working days so this company just waste our time ..
