I recently moved into a property managed by FHP Living. They were still completing the inventory at the time agreed I would collect the keys, which is obviously stressful when you have movers waiting. This means they obviously rushed it and stated everything was clean on move in when it very clearly wasn’t. I dealt with Alexandra, and sent across pictures to show they had been lazy when filling out the inventory. She is very patronising, refuses to apologise for their mistake, and pushed the blame over to me saying I should take it to my landlords. It shouldn’t be so hard to apologise when you’ve clearly done something wrong. If a property was being let by FHP I would tell anyone to avoid them.

I dealt with FHP Living West Bridgford as a tenant for one year. Although they seemed professional during the search phase and before signing the tenancy agreement, which is why we chose this agency over others, it became clear during and especially after our tenancy that they are unprofessional and often aggressive with bullying attitude. First, their policy is to side with owner always even in breach of contract (our agreement included a clause for a biweekly gardener that they didn’t bother to enforce even when we complained). Second, they did the repairs we requested only extremely reluctantly and we had to insist so many times to get anything done. They often ignored and dismissed our requests (simply because they can do so). Third, they entered our premises on the last day of our tenancy without authorization, when the property was still with us, and they illegally took photos that they attempted to use in the check out which was scheduled at a later date. Fourth, they bullied us with unreasonable claims of deductions they want to make from our deposit although we complained. Fifth, they have not given us the final quotes of these deductions until today and are still holding the whole deposit without reason except because they can afford to do so. They ignore our emails and calls. To sum up, it is an unprofessional and aggressive agency for tenants and I strongly recommend against it.

As a buyer, FHP were very aggressive and in my opinion use a bullying approach to sales. They tried to force an exchange within 4-6 weeks regardless of the legal process. They also implied they made an admin error on the price and sent an amended offer letter a month later, with the date, the same as the original letter and increased the price. They tried to get me to pay for a survey even though I'd have to pay for a separate survey through my mortgage lender as they wanted to secure a purchase for our vendors.
I wouldn't sell any property through FHP for buyers to experience the same dreadful experience I had to endure

We found that Mr Steve Grey was very professional and the valuation he carried out to be the best valuation and the most accurate, at this point I would like to say "thank you" for his help.
We were moving into a rental whilst we looked for our new home, we informed FHP rentals of this but received no information to aid our search for a rental home, we were a little dissatisfied with this.
Towards the completion we were receiving far to many calls from FHP asking if we had found a rental , which only added to our anxiety at this stressful point.
We would suggest a better system of sales and rental department communication to assist where required the customer.
Having said all of the abovementioned, we would still use FHP again if required.

After a difficult year house hunting, with a couple of sales via other estate agents falling through I finally completed on my house purchase via FHP two weeks ago. My purchase was facilitated by Amelia and Jules who were like a breath of fresh air. They recognised the importance of the house purchase to me on a personal level. Jules helped facilitate difficult negotiations with the seller sensitively and professionally. Was always at the other end of the phone/email, always happy to help and answer queries and did so in a timely manner. For the final weeks before completion, when i was at my wits end due to issues with the solicitors, Amelia stepped in and expertly coordinated communication between all parties while also providing me with much needed reassurance. Buying a house is well documented as being one of the most stressful life experiences and that was certainly my experience due to many personal factors and also the impact of covid and stamp duty on the housing market. However, my experience with FHP couldn't have been more positive. I'd go as far as saying that I felt very well taken care of. Should i need to sell or buy again, FHP would definitely be my first choice. Highly recommend.

We chose FHP over other agents to sell my stepmothers house in West Bridgford. Top notch, personable service. We considered Purple Bricks but we definitely saved more using FHP as they were really determined to negotiate the best deal for our buy and sell.
Jules was our point of contact and she couldn't do enough to make sure everything ran smoothly. Or if we had any questions or problems, she was always quick to resolve them and get back to us. Jules was also really clear with what was going on at each stage of the process.

Dear FHP,
We had the recent pleasure of using your West Bridgford branch as our selling agent and have to say it was the best decision we could have made. We had a very difficult chain which caused significant stress and at times we could have happily cancelled the sale, had it not been for the outstanding service and work that Jules and Ian gave us in the process. They were on top of the both ends of the chain and their agents but also helped by being pro-active and regular with their communication.
They are of course nice people to boot, but I would say they are the X factor in West Bridgford estate agents. Anyone unsure of which agency to consider should opt for FHP West Bridgford.
