We've recently used Holden Copley West Bridgford to sell our house. Firstly we were blown away by the efficiency and support we received from the office staff, especially Maddie. Then, once the chain was complete, Melissa processed our sale. There are other agents who will provide a much more personalised service, with staff who know the area well and will spend time and effort promoting your property.
Holden Copley were unprofessional, unresponsive and paid little attention to detail.
Would not recommend marketing your property with this company.

First off when the male arrived from Holden and Copley; he never offered to take his shoes off. So I had someone waking around in my clean home where my children play and sit. This is basic manners. Secondly I feel personally harassed. After trying to turn the company down, after selecting a different estate agents I have been pestered. With nothing but sale tactics to try and change my mind. I understand this is a business. But my mind has been made, I shouldn’t be forced into a corner, and repeatedly rang.
Thirdly my house was massively over valued, and are the majority of properties which this company are selling. You only need to scan right move to see this, and see they aren’t selling. My advise would be to use an alternative company

I used Holden Copley to arrange the sale of my rental property. They were extremely efficient from arranging the valuer (Chris), the photographer being employed, and the ongoing work that Lianna carried out getting the sale over the finishing line! She was contacting me at least once a week. She's become my most contacted person on my What's App messages (even more than some of my friends). I used to be in the business of selling and renting properties myself, and I know how difficult this job can be. Don't leave your most valuable asset in the hands of any other agent, that may not be capable of giving you such a great service.

I called Holden Copley the other day, and they knew who I was as the lady said my details were on the system.
As you are the owner, shouldn't you be aware of every aspect of your business?
We decided to sell our house and had a number of valuations. We felt that some valuations were so high that it would take too much time to sell. Also, looking around at For Sale boards, there seemed to be a lot of unsold Holden Copley ones (as well as others) that had been around for a while. Needless to say that 'we went with the other guy'.
Whilst searching for another property, we viewed a number through the WB office. It got to the stage that I refused to view any more houses listed with them as the staff were unprofessional. They definitely are all for the seller, not the buyer. I think that it's such a tense time for anyone, and a little empathy wouldn't go amiss.
When we found the house that we wanted, it was listed with Lesley Greaves. If we had done our research before we put our house on the market, we'd have gone with them. They, and the solicitors, Ives & Co., were amazing! We highly recommend them as a team! It took us only 5 weeks from offering to moving in. Every single person we spoke with was very helpful & the overall experience was outstanding!

I used Holden Copley to sell my house just before Christmas. It was definitely a 5 star service from the start. They put my house on the market for a realistic and higher price compared to other estate agents. Despite the current climate the house sold in less than 4 months, the offer was made by the buyer within a couple of weeks of the house being on the market. Feedback was given for all viewings, I never had to chase this. Special mention to Josie Plestor who managed the sale and did a good job keeping me informed and up to date and ensuring a smooth process. I would definitely recommend them.

The only thing Holden Copley could have done worse when trying to market my property would have been to burn it down.... For the 3 months my property was listed, I received 1 market report from Rightmove, and 1 proactive call to update me on how they were marketing it. They advised us to go to guide price which brought in no extra interest and only served to reduce the value of my home by 50k. For the viewings we did have, they booked in the wrong date and then sent a trainee who doesn't even know the area to show people round. They booked viewings in that would cancel 20 mins before arrival and made no attempt to market our property to other potential buyers in the area. Every time you called the office, a new person would answer there was never one sole person updating me or actually trying to sell our house- they were 'relying on right move' to bring in the viewers- which in this market is not good enough. They will tell you they are selling more properties in the area than anyone else- but that's on no of houses not as a % and the health warning with that is they can claim to be selling the most, but they don't have the time to work on your property or invest in the relationship.

Very helpful and accommodating. We came across a number of staff members and they were all brilliant, not a single difficulty or issue.
We didn't end up buying from HoldenCopley in the end (through no fault of their own!), but house searching and buying can be challenging and stressful so it's great to have estate agents like HC (since there are some suboptimal ones out there!!) to make the process as smooth as it can be.

I had 3 viewings for properties managed by HoldenCopley this week. Unfortunately, 1 property we weren't able to view due to the landlord being unresponsive but It wasn't wasted time as we were able to view the next property earlier than arranged.
Although none of the houses appealed to me in the end, I have to give credit to Josh who showed me around both. He was punctual, had every bit of information to hand and showed a great understanding of what I valued in a property.
He asked for honest feedback throughout and took note of it all. This installed a positive outlook to me that this is an estate agent who will work cooperatively between sellers and buyers to facilitate a sale that's of fair value for everyone.

Incredible service!
Josh showed us around a property yesterday, and it was by far our best ever experience viewing a house (of more than 30 viewings this year with a number of different agents from the Wollaton/ Bramcote/Beeston area). Josh clearly went above and beyond with his knowledge of the property, and was able to answer almost all of our questions there and then. The few questions he couldn't answer he made a note of to pass back to their office. The whole experience was friendly and professional, and I would highly recommend Holden Copley to anybody looking to sell in the Nottingham area.

Brilliant service!
I decided I liked a property that was in a building where lenders weren't all too willing to lend on. Holden Copley, after a pleasant and honest viewing experience, went above and beyond to make sure I was in a position where I could find a lender and eventually buy the property.
Their staff are helpful and respond very quickly, know their stuff, and aren't afraid of getting involved to help the lending process move along if a bank or building society are dithering about.
They really feel like they want to treat both sides, the buyer and seller, equally, and I'd be sure to use them again in the future, knowing if get a great overall service.
They also made me feel more confident and comfortable as a first time buyer and didn't treat me in any way to suggest they undervalued me or to take advantage.
10/10 would recommend!

From start to finish the word is PROFESSIONAL.
At the viewing the two men who showed us round were friendly, helpful and smartly dressed. They offered to take videos and get us ground plans to accommodate us.
In the office we have also been met with professionalism and everything is done swiftly. Buying a house is stressful and you feel they understand this when dealing with you.

Lauren (Head Photographer) and Karen (Senior Sales Progressor) were great. It is worth highlighting Laura (Senior Sales Negotiator) who is the sole reason we chose to use Holden Copley. Her greeting when we first went in the West Bridgford branch was professional, welcoming and friendly and far more impressive than other rival agencies we'd been to that same day. We knew from that moment that we would pick Holden Copley to sell our house. Laura continued to be fantastic throughout the process of booking viewings, reviewing offers and even witnessing our Solicitor's documents.
It was also fantastic that within 90 minutes of going on Rightmove, we were contacted with 12 booked viewings, then two days later had a further 12 viewings booked. I am sure this is testament to the waiting list of potential buyers that HC have.

We booked a firm appointment for today, which was confirmed by email this morning, to view a bungalow in West Bridgford. Arriving about ten minutes early, we were expecting to see their viewings person soon after. Ten minutes past the appointment time, no agent. No call, either, to let us know he was running late.
The first time I rang to query where he was, I got the answer phone, the second time, the person on the phone said she would chase him while I was on hold, then put the phone down on me. The third time, the same individual said I wasn’t meant to hang on, and she had now established he was five minutes away. 25 minutes past the appointment, the fourth time I rang, I was told immediately he was five minutes away. How the person in the office knew that straight away was odd - unless he was actually sitting in the same office.
Nearly half an hour later he rocked up with what I felt was a completely inadequate apology, blaming a busy diary. Clearly, not a very organised one. Of course, had we been nearly half an hour late, I am sure the agent would have gone some time previous.
We were viewing a £475,000 property. I have had better punctuality viewing a £475 used car. One assumes the vendor would be delighted to know about this.
An extremely disappointing experience from what brands itself as an ‘award winning’ estate agency. The only awards from us today is for lateness from the agent and a complete lack of concern from the people we spoke with about that in their office.

I have tried now to view three properties ( all unoccupied) through Holden Copley. The fist two properties I was unable to view at all as they said that they had arranged open days all places had been taken and as they were expecting offers to come from this they wouldn’t be the opportunity to view, the third property was told that there was no one available to show me the property for two weeks. I arranged the viewing for a fortnight later and the day before Holden Copely cancelled the viewing and the reason given was an offer had been accepted. I cannot believe that they have worked hard to secure the best price for the vendor as I expect like myself other interested parties were unable to view.

The last thing you want is these rogues trying to sort a deal for you. It'll be dragged out for days and they will put you in a bidding war with a made up entity. This a estate agent is to blame for the biggest price hike in Nottinghams history. Good luck if your a first time buyer. Deals crumble days before exchange due to buyer frustration.

Have just completed the sale of my house with Holden Copley, has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them.
A competitive selling fee, fantastic sales brochure and website listings. A sale was agreed in about 4 weeks and I was kept constantly in the loop about how things were progressing, and as I was living over 3 hours drive from the house, they came to the house to let people in and out to enable the house sale to progress.
If you want to sell your house at the right price and hassle free, then HC is the way to go. Thanks to all the staff who helped to make it happen.

I don't think you can get a better estate agent from start to (very nearly) the finish (not moved yet).

I would highly recommend Holden Copley to anyone looking to sell their house. From the get-go, they were highly professional and Jordan (who came to value the house) seemed more knowledgeable than agents I had round from other companies. They gave a good yet realistic valuation price (I sold above the lower band of the guide price) and I liked that their service was all inclusive with the marketing and high quality professional photos included (some places charge separately for this). Having dealt with Melissa throughout the duration of my sale, she was always extremely responsive, organised and helpful in keeping things moving along (especially when my buyer's solicitor was being extremely slow) and the company as a whole were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use them again!

My experience of dealing with estate agents in general as a buyer is that they really don’t care.. there’s enough potential buyers that they don’t have to bother returning emails or calls. Holden Copley have been fantastic in the sale and marketing of our house. All the team are very professional; in particular Zoe Garton did an amazing job, restoring my faith in estate agents.
Prior to being on the market with HC, we spent 6 months on the market with a local competitor who I won't name (rhymes with Loyston and Rund), less said about them the better.
Zoe organised multiple back-to-back viewings generating massive interest in our property; obtaining 3 offers in a short space of time (one on the first day of viewings).
It appears that HCs database of prospects is maintained well, and the potential buyers are well matched to the property type, rather than other agents who employ a 'spray and pray' approach; this saves both the buyer and the vendor considerable time.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend HC to anyone looking to sell their home; they are professional, competitive and deliver on their promises.

I love the 360 tours they provide as it really gives you a feel for the property before going to view. This was a great feature even before the pandemic, but now it's even more beneficial.

I started with 3 valuations of my property from 3 different estate agencies. I was the most impressed with the online presence of Holden Copley on RightMove and the quality of the photography. Great photos sell houses, 3D tours are ideal during COVID-19 as you can visualise the space before viewing. Both are included.
The rates are competitive, a lot is included and they could fit photography, viewings and EPC around my busy work schedule.
I put my house (3 bed semi around 200k in Beeston) on the market and had just short of 25 viewings booked for the following week. It was featured on Rightmove due to the attention it was getting. I received 7 offers, 3 above asking price and accepted one after the property being on the market for 10 days.
Really impressed with the service all round, if the staff are busy at the time they will call you back as soon as they can.
