We had to move unexpectedly and were having real difficulty finding a property as everything was being snapped up so fast.
Found a lovely property through Let's Move and had a viewing the next day.
We were looked after by Denise and she has just been incredible throughout. she could sense our (my) anxiety about our situation and she was so reassuring and on the ball with everything. When the landlord accepted us we genuinely felt Denise was as thrilled for us as we were ????
All applications, referencing and any of the legal documents are all done online which was perfect for us especially still in the pandemic and Let's Move operate really quickly so no waiting around for contact. Denise kept us informed of everything along the way.
On check into the property we were given a welcome pack which in all my years renting (there have been a lot) I've never had and it had little snacks and useful stuff like washing tablets and cleaning stuff plus vouchers for things.
Let's move do a full inventory of the property which gets sent to you and you get the opportunity to highlight things that you want noted, again this is all done online so really easy.
We've been in the property a week today and couldn't be happier.

Illegally charged us for professional cleaning services (with a company that they conveniently recommended). Only refunded this when further legal action was threatened. Tried to illegally charge for rent late fees. Only removed these when the actual regulations they were breaking were sent to them. Claim they had no idea they were illegal, surely it is their job to stay updated with rental laws and regulations? We only lived in the house for 3 out of the 10 months we were contracted for (due to covid) and they tried to charge us for redecorating for marks that were present when we moved in, cleaning for dust in drawers, broken blind weights that no one had touched. Make sure you save a copy of your Check-In report photos as the ones they had on their file magically disappeared from the Check-Out report in a "computer glitch". Ignored emails for weeks until further action was threatened. Condescendingly questioned where I was getting my advice from. Stand your ground with them, don't back down to claims that you know are false and unfair, and double check your rights as a renter as they obviously either don't have a clue what they're doing or are actively committing fraud. Check out the Tenants Fees Act 2019 to make sure what they're charging is legal.
Also emailed during one of the lockdowns to ask if anyone has covid because she was coming round in 10 mins? No 24hour written notice even attempted. The two contractors they used to fit a single fire door took 2 days to fit it, one made sexist and creepy comments to the only girl living there at the time which made her uneasy and scared about living there alone, and the fire door doesn't even fit into the frame, making it useless as a fire door as it doesn't shut. Letsmove didn't seem concerned that the contractor was a useless creep, saying "oh that's just the way he is". If you're a student, I recommend renting with a private landlord if you can, if not take photos of everything and be prepared for arguments at the end of your tenancy.

Student property - similar to most of these student reviews, black mould in rooms, being accused of damages done before the tenancy, unprofessional contact, issues reported at the start of the tenancy ignored.
Take lots of pictures at the start of your tenancy to avoid the hassle at the end, even tiny marks.

We purchased a property that was being sold through this agents, all the way through the process we didn't have any contact from them, it was me chasing and advising them what was happening and was an absolute joke. Moving day they called me 2 hours after we had already got the keys from the previous owner. They never helped or advised one little bit. I would not recommend and I would not use. We have been moved for 4 months now and our property is STILL being advertised on various house selling sites as STC this is actually illegal as they should remove all property details 10 days after completion.

Money grabbing swine. We took care of the house very well and at the end of the tenancy they charged us £895 for issues that are non existent or were done before we moved in.

Awful property managers. I’ve lived in 3 student properties and each one has been full of mould with filthy furniture. One of the properties I lived in alone over summer and they arranged for the bathroom to be re-done before the new tenants moved in in September. They gave me a key to the vacant house next door and said that I would have to use the bathroom in that house until the bathroom was done.
As a young female living alone it was horrendous having to leave my house in the middle of the night to go next door if I had to use the bathroom. In another student house that I rented from them we had numerous problems including a leaking waste removal pipe (from the toilets) that had previously been tapped up with duct tape, mould, unfinished bathrooms and broken windows. Any problems that were raised were apparently ‘the landlords problem’, we never received and contact information for the landlord and were just told that Lets move had informed the landlord of the issues. AVOID

The First time I’ve used let’s move and I can not fault a single thing! Not only did the process go through quickly and smoothly I was always kept in the loop on what was happening and even with covid everything was safe and done online which makes everything easier . Definitely the estate agents to use in Newport 100% I will be using them again.

I rang them to book a viewing to rent a property, they took all my details and told me they arw going to ring me once they are staring doing viewings. Next day when I rang the office they said that the property is no longer available as they received an application already. I asked the lady why they didn't ring me as promised and she didn't say anything.
Not professional, I do not recommend!

7 weeks and still no deposit return!
We vacated a property on 9th March having paid out money to get property cleaned prior to moving out. It is now 24th April and we are still no nearer getting our deposit returned to us. This company try to make each tenant use expensive cleaning services after moving out, they recommend the company to booster Lets Move's money that they make per case.
Just another case where the tenant loses out financially for no reason whatsoever. If the property is cleaned why should it matter what cleaning company you use???
Very poor indeed especially at this time where people need money more than ever, we need the deposit back to help support our family due to lack of income and Lets Move drag it out to try and make us pay more money even though they have already re-let the property!

Absolutely disgusted with our experience of this company we have damp in the house every bit of plumbing in the house leaks and then they want to inspect the property - by this they mean walk round aimlessly (with shoes on on carpets) vaguely listen to any concerns and leave with no action - when this was raised on the phone to a guy called Richard who comes to ‘inspect’ your property he was then rude and called me a liar about having to take time out of work to inspect when actually it was my partner that had to come home early as they have no consideration for working people don’t do weekends or after half past 4 but this is a ‘must’ every 3 months ! Absolute joke of a company and would advise any landlords to steer well clear as the money your tenants are paying for this service is NOT well spent !

Left us without heating for 3 months of winter. Only made the repairs after repeatedly contacting them. Have also had contractors let into our property with no 24 hour notice as legally obliged and no warning until they were found in a bedroom. No apologies given, no action taken.
Will not be using them again as they seem to have no care about their tenants.
