Avoid! They are thieves! My property is let through Linda matthews, I have received no rent for 4 months now and had to contact the tenant direct. I dealt with Maria, the agency is Not to be trusted, they are very poor at responding. My house is tenanted through them and they do not pay the rent on time. Tenants have stopped paying, i am not allowed to contact my tenants, agency has stopped responding to my emails and calls.

Horrible estate agents run the other way or they will not care about you they don’t fix anything I had mushrooms growing on my ceiling a great big hole in the roof that was there for 2 weeks they don’t even pay the owners of the property their rent they will rob you I was very I’ll until I was able to get out of there... Terrible estate agent, most definitely the worst in Medway and I’ve dealt with Connells, Regal, Moxy etc, RMJ, etc. Went to view a house in Eastview, St Mary’s island. The male letting agent had no information to give us about the house, was honestly very disinterested, couldn’t tell us anything such as where the parking space was, just opened the door and said ‘I’ll let you look around’. The house was dirty - I have never viewed a house this dirty as a potential tenant. There was dirty cutlery in the kitchen drawers, black mould in fridge, oven hadn’t been cleaned and had a thick layer of orange oil. Doors and windows were broken and didn’t work. There was broken furniture in the garden. There was dirty water sat in the plugs so clearly a problem with plumbing. The pictures of their properties are very deceptive. Now reading the reviews I think I got away lightly and I am so glad I didn’t go ahead with the letting. Shame as the house had real potential. If it came on the market with another estate agent that would actually look after the house I would consider it but no way with this agency.... Read more

Terrible, dodgy, they take money for work then do not undertake any work on the premises. They don't answer their phones on most days, they don't manage tenants, they do not check if the property is in good condition after tenants leave, yet pay them their deposits out of laziness, they do not clean before new tenants move in yet take money for this. Avoid this company, not worth the stress and hassle. You'll be doing most of the work yourself whilst chasing them to get back money for work they have not done and good luck getting through or getting a response or honest response as they lie often.... ***CONTRACTORS AVOID***
When I first started my company, I would ring letting agents offering my services. Unfortunately, one of the letting agents who took me on board was Linda Matthews.
All seemed good at first, quote requests coming through as normal. Until two jobs were confirmed to go ahead.
I went on to complete both jobs to a very high standard, sent the invoices to Linda Matthews and then complete silence. No more quote requests, no correspondence at all.
After months and months of chasing and not having any reply from Linda Matthews, I took them to court. They ignored all court proceedings, ignored the judgement brought against the company (CCJ). Then we issued a warrant of control, and a debt collector went to visit them last week. We now have a check processing through the court. So after almost a year and a couple hundred on court fees (Which they had to pay in the end) I can safely say to avoid them if you are a contractor or anything a landlord or Tenant.
The houses they had me visit were all in unlivable condition in my opinion.

I did sell house wihe this agency. First part of views&selling was fine, good contact wihe agency we was belive them, we getting offer. But one day on evning was coming people to my house and thay are was in surprise that no one has been inform them about different. Tha are wone to buy my house. Agency push me to accept offer to only one men ( i think tahy are have a dill withe hime, maybe he has been pay some cashe in pocket advisor), thay are told me he has got good deposit but it wasnt true, becouse he has to ask bank to borrow more money.
So after when i had visit a home buyer thay are told me this men said to advisor "keep this house for me only for me " so i didt get better offer i didnt know about this, peoplewas told .
On next day i was calling to agency i told them what happened whay thay are not tell people about offer i could sell house for better money. And thay are star to call again for all people who has been views house before.
finlly we did sold house wihe better offer different buyer no deal betwen agency advisor and bayer. We get more £2500 for sell house so it was relly big different. My sugestie is stay at Home withe advisor when coming people for views house and ask for better offer don't belive them. You can lost a lot of money.... Read more
