We are acting as executors of an estate. This involves selling a house. We were dismayed when lockdown started very soon after the house was put in the market, and were resigned to not being able to selling the property for the long foreseeable future.
Malcolm Vint at Martin and Co, Rochester office, offered the service of virtual viewings to those prospective buyers who had shown an interest when seeing the property online. Viewings were arranged promptly and conducted individually for two different families. The agent was in the house with smart technology which allowed her to show the clients every detail of each room, and they could ask detailed questions to which they could see the answer on their screen. An offer was received, negotiated, and accepted following this process. The offer was subject to confirmation following a physical viewing once restrictions were eased. This has now taken place and has been confirmed.
We were delighted with this service. It has provided a new home for the purchasers, and a successful, rapid solution to our situation as executors of the estate.

Trying to find a home can be stressful at the best of times let alone during a pandemic! Thankfully, l managed to find a wonderful property on behalf of my Mother through Martin & Co. Sandra made the process a pleasure under challenging circumstances. She was professional yet personable and responsive. Do NOT use them to sell your property, what a waste of our time!!! Our house was under offer a month ago and we paid solicitor fee to progress the sale. However we only found out today that our buyer pulled out long time ago, but they never informed us. No email or phone call envidence showing that they informed us. Full of lies!! Wasting our time, now we can't proceed with our next house purchase. The manager is rude, the emails she sent was most with rude tone of the voice, never being polite and friendly, shame for being in a service industry!!!

My brother and I have been renting our property via Dawn, Sherrie and the team at the Medway office for last 5 years or so.

The service, the client experience, and the support we have received have been second to none.

If you want to experience and see what GREAT customer service looks like, just look at the Medway Office, because they are an exceptional team.

Both my brother and I are truly grateful and blessed to have them manage my brother's property.

Having had an extremely bad letting agent I decided to move to the well established Martin & Co group and have not looked back. I have followed this Medway branch from Gravesend to Chatham and now to their present location in Rochester for ten years. Their standard of service on full management is impeccable and they normally resolve any problems immediately without fuss. Unfortunately The Lady's of Rochester are so good that I only get to see them at Christmas to give them their well deserved presents. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I Just rented a flat with them. They been very helpful and they do all the paperwork clear and right. I saw the flat before move in and was cleaned as they said. Been abroad while the process of sign all papers wasn’t a problem as they sent to me all by email and able to sign by acrobat sign. The deposit is well keep on a secure deposit protection service.

After 12 years of managing several properties for me it is verry dispointing to be threatened with court. I was of the understanding letting agents were there to help and advise. In this case charged for a contractor to visit and report on works to be completed, and said ther contractor needs to undergo the works or they won't sign it off.

Works I could have got completed by one of our contractors ended up costing hundreds and faced with cort threats when suggested the works are a 38% higher then ive been quoted. :(
