Just had a house let through Manhattan. From the initial contact to the point where keys were handed over to the tenant, the service from the team has been nothing short of exceptional. An extremely professional and friendly service from Muhammad, Rashmi and Tahera. Thank you.

Giving Manhattan 1 star is generous!! The lack accountability, always pushing responsibility on the landlord. Never accepting any responsibility, they are the management agency, as a management agency you also take accountability when things go wrong. My house was managed by Manhattan, the house was an impeccably clean, very well presented house. It was returned to me in such filthy state. Apparently they don’t do end of tenancy checks, when a tenant is moving out and landlord is taking the property back. So it’s completely ok to return the property in an absolute horrifying state. All kitchen appliances absolutely destroyed, a lot of rubbish and belongings left behind that I’ve had to dispose of myself, i was quoted £250 - £350 to dispose of, for things that do not even belong to me. Cleaning the entire house quotes £306. Not to forget the mould, apparently it’s only a landlord issue- never sending a photo to show the extent of the damage!! Allowing it to continue. . Anyway… with all the costs just up until now. I find the company irresponsible.

I have had bad experience with Manhattan Estate’s Boss (Muhammad). He’s been so arrogant and used abusive language while I was leaving the end of tenancy. I will not recommend this agency if you know about your rights as tenant and like to maintain your self esteem.

As immigrants, they could've treated us like other estate agents did, but they were kind, made adjustments for us and we had no issues for the full year and three months with them. Rashmi, Mohammed, Tehara, and the youngest member of the team, S, are all great, with great personalities. My family's growing so we have to move, but our fine relationship with Manhattan will always be treasured. Also, we never met the landlord but we felt close to him because of the positive light shone on him by them at every opportunity. Super amazing!

Total scam, they do not care about you or your property. They will lie through their teeth and customer service has been incredibly poor. Absolutely terrible. Do not recommend to anyone looking to buy/sell or rent property through this estate agents.

Be vary wary of these agents! My friend let her house out with them and was promised the world. The tenant moved out before the contract end and when viewed the house it was destroyed. The kitchen cupboards were all removed, the new blinds were wrecked. The garden was unrecognisable. The tenants had cooked with deep fat fryers and then painted over the fat in the kitchen. The fryers were thrown into the garden. A quarterly report sent to my friend always said the property was in good condition. Clearly there never visited the property. My friend is now spending thousands to repair it as it is currently un-rentable

We used manhattan Halliwell to sell our property in Arnold Street we used a solicitor to purchase our new property can't mention the solicitor's but the standard was very poor, manhattan really had nothing to do with the purchase of the new property but they stepped in to help us purchase the property, Tahera did all the chasing for us due to our poor solicitors except for Tahera I think it would have fallen through she was great what she did for us we now have settled into our new property and Tahera still keeps in contact with us to see how we are going on, great service from a wonderful team

I booked at 4:30 pm to view a property and it’s confirmed by the Manhattan estates agent, I went to the property at 4 pm, there are many people waiting outside the property; I wait till 4:30 pm and ask to view the property, an agent worker let me waiting for another 2 families to go first, actually I came before them. Why Manhattan estates waste people’s time? Can’t Manhattan respect buyers? I left without view the property.

After using another agent I tried Manhattan for my rental property which had tenant found very next day . I was inform of the situation all the time and rent transfer to my bank very next day
Mohammad was very prompt to follow up and Rashmi was very attentive and keep informing me of the situation very promptly and I will be using them for all my rental property in futures

Fantastic service. I honestly inform all concerned that Manhattan Estates were kind enough to provide all necessary information when I was trying to buy my first property here in Bolton. I was away for many years from this country and was about to establish myself on the property ladder, i didnt know much about properties, regulations & the procedures. I was in contact with the gentleman called Yunus for many weeks before i purchased my property with confidence and since then i have built a good relationship with Manhattan estates & the staff. We are like family now. I would recommend anyone to them.

Well what can i say, i have rented properties before with private landlords and other estate agents. Whenever we have an issue, we were always hesitating to ask the Landlords or agents because nothing used to get done. These guys will go out of their way to make sure things are done within the timescales. The maintenance manager at the office explained to us the timescales when the repairs will be completed but also advised he would be speaking to the Landlord to get the boiler replaced. Within 24 Hours i was told an engineer will come and replace the boiler. We have become like family, i have rented now for a few years and i wouldnt go anywhere else because these guys are always there for me.
