We had our first appointment with Andrew from countrywide mortgage services at Entwistle Green, Bolton back in May. We were warmly welcomed by Bridget to begin with. Our whole experience with the branch has been just brilliant and we cannot fault them. Andrew, our mortgage adviser, had been incredible, Bridget arranged to show us around the house at short notice and went out of her way. Chris, the branch manager, kept us updated and chased things up for us, as did Hayley before leaving. Matthew was also fantastic on the viewings we had with him and was really informative. We completed on our house purchase yesterday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Entwistle Green, Bolton.

Landlord of property in Bolton and used Entwistle Green lettings for a 3 year period. Communication is poor and they are happy to take their commission and not do much else (e.g the odd phone call, report). Never heard from them in 3 years. As the tenants have now moved on, I am selling the house, so won't require their services, but had I have continued to rent out I would have looked for another agent for sure.

Surprise!!! No response...it seems that Entwistle Green live in their own perfect bubble and are in deniel of anything wrong.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Entwistle Property Management
I had a challenging experience with Entwistle Property Management. After needing to leave my lease early due to unforeseen circumstances, I faced difficulties with the management. Despite apologizing and settling all charges they requested, I was disappointed to find that my entire holding deposit was claimed to cover cleaning costs for the two-bedroom apartment, which I was told would be re-leased.
The treatment I received during this process was disappointing, and I felt there was a lack of understanding and fairness in their dealings with tenants. I would caution others to be wary when renting with Entwistle and to ensure they fully understand the terms of their lease agreement before signing.

Would avoid, not very helpful, withheld deposit claim evidence for over 2 months, do not reply to emails, when I left the property I asked for a recommended cleaner who charged me £170 for what looked like a quick vacuum and left all the rubbish and leaking bleach on my floor. I was asked to do a viewing on the house I was leaving as they clearly couldn’t be bothered turning up. I believe countrywide are also part of entwistle green and I have had nothing but ignorance lies from these people, it’s now been 3 months and I am yet to receive any of my £950 deposit back for issues I have evidence to prove agains and they generally don’t care and do not respond to emails/calls. Might just be a one off but approach with caution

I sold my house with this Company, it was Matthew the valuer of whom placed my home on the Market after it came off of the market with another agent who let me down so many times in finding buyers who were not qualified for the purchase of my house. Naturally my confidence was low because of this at the beginning as I appointed this company but Matthew assured me he would get me across to my dream home on the coast and within 2 weeks my property was sold on behalf of Entwistle Green, Bolton. Matthew is a delightful professional and easy speaking individual with warmth and has a manner with him that whilst always remaining professional has a flair to give the best advice and delivers his confidence to make one feel you are in safe hands. The process of selling my home was then under pinned with the support of Chris Lowe the Branch Manager he was by my side every step of the way, always available to speak to with any concerns I had and very responsive in returning calls and emails. Chris has so much patience and his re assuring gentle manner instinctively keeps you feeling strong in mind through the processes. Chris is highly professional and as a branch manager its plain to see he knows his craft very well indeed.

Had a great experience with Entwistle Green's Bolton branch. Our letting agent Katie did a fantastic job with answering any of our questions whilst staying professional and 100% transparent. She's been massively helpful with both the viewing and signing the letting agreement which made the situation a lot less stressful. Looking forward to moving into our new property and keeping in touch.
One small complaint would be occasionally it takes a while to reach someone on the phone lines but this hasn't been a huge deal.

I've just moved from Dubai to the UK with my family. As a new comer in the UK and trying to find a home for me and my family, it is was really tough. When I thought I couldn't find any one to give me a break and let me rent their property, I got a call and the lady told me her name is Katie and she's received my inquiry regarding a 3 bed for rent.
Katie Critchley, the lettings negotiator, was really amazing. Even though I was in London at that time and couldn't do a physical viewing, she told me she will go to the property, do a video and send to me, and true to her words, she did.
I've lived in Dubai for over 2 decades and in all my years of renting properties in Dubai, I've never encountered any agent or a member of the staff with such passion and dedication in their work and happy to go the extra mile for a customer. Excellent and amazing service by Jemma Graham at Entwistle green. It’s always a nervous time looking for a flat but from day one Jemma made the process an easy one. She was easy to talk to, great sense of professionalism and understanding that she had. I called a few estate agents in the greater Manchester area and Jemma was the one that stood out for me. She sent me a tour of the flat via online after I couldn’t make the viewing, this was going above and beyond to a great effect. She also helped me pick a place according to my budget and location requirements, this was phenomenal service and I can’t express my gratitude enough for Jemma. Chris initially told me that he had a number of clients looking for a similar property to mine. Once the house went on the market, he was true to his word and I had 20 viewings in 2 days, so much so that he managed to get a number of offers over the original asking price. Once an offer was accepted, Carl took over and he was on top of everything from the beginning. He made regular up-dates and when lawyers were not answering requests he sent out emails and pushed just sufficiently to get the sale back on track. Disappointing & hard work. We employed them to sell my Mum's house.
Initially they came across professional and I felt that they would work for us making life easier and worry free. It was the complete opposite. They said to use their conveyancer and things would be quicker as they can talk between them to make the process quicker etc. Again, the complete opposite. We felt both parties were working for the buyer, sales fell through and they were inefficient about picking up on other interested parties etc.. door left unlocked, lights left on etc.
My friend used the Preston branch once and she had same experience.
We felt we had to push through every stage. We had an issue with the deeds but was sorted quickly. Took from September til end of January after sale agreed. Wont be using any branch again. Lesson learned !

Harassing, unhelpful and sarcastic staff members.
Expect to receive hundreds of calls, voicemails, emails and text messages every single day. Between the time period of 9am-12pm i had received 4 emails, 4 text messages and 6 voicemails all regarding properties i hadn't actually asked for information on.
Never had to deal with a more unprofessional company
The staff are about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. Rude and appallingly spoken.

What can I say, these people are either dodgy or incompetent, probably both.
Could not recommend to my worst enemy. From failing to provide an inventory at the beginning of tenancy to failing to provide a new contract (we had contract with the previous agency, this agency took over the management of the property).
It looks their own goal is to rip you off, nothing else matters for them, only money.
They should be embarrassed and ashamed about the service they provide, but I get the impression that they arn't. Overall the whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth . Avoid at all costs if looking to rent.

The owner is never available and now as a result of the storms they have a tree down in their back garden. This blocks access to our garden and is only partly down and could fall further. A danger that they are completely uninterested in...
