Mark David do not follow The Property Ombudsman Code of Practice. Read the contract carefully especially with respect to payment of fees on termination and the length of the tail. I was also unhappy with the handling of my property sale which is why I ended up engaging another agent who were successful.

Mark was fantastic - really matters what estate agent you have if in a tricky or elongated purchase (or sale) and in my experience this almost always ends up being the case.
Mark went above and beyond to assist, was always available for updates. Not sure we would have successfully purchased without him.
In a world where estate agents don’t always get the best stereotype- Mark Long is the exception - a thoroughly decent and transparent professional, and a Top bloke - thank you ????

Mark David Estate Agents have just helped us through two offers - one in which the seller dropped out at the 11th hour and the second on which we have now exchanged. They could not have been quicker at seeking alternative properties for us, given our specific circumstances. The negotiations were easy and they have been great at keeping us updated and supporting in the process as needed.
Mark and Kenya were very professional and helpful to us throughout the process. As we also had a rental through them, I should add that Sue has been fantastic as well.
We had good experiences with Mark David Estate Agents throughout.

We have just sold a property with Mark David Estate Agents. We were pleased with the valuation and marketing. It was proposed that we hold 2 open days. A lot of interest was generated and the property sold from the first open day and we were very satisfied with the price achieved. Although there were some delays with the solicitors, Kenya was constantly following up and keeping us informed of progress. Overall this was a very positive experience.

I have just exchanged on a property I have (nearly) bought in Chipping Norton and even though I was not the 'client' Mark, Kirsty and Alice were so good at keeping in touch, updating me on what was sometimes quite sensitive / tricky, and also nudging both our solicitors to keep the channels open and moving. I am so appreciative and pleased for us all with the good outcome - and bang on schedule....! Now for completion and a happy new chapter back in lovely Chipping Norton.

The day we moved into a lovely cottage in Kings Sutton the neighbours immediately told us of an extension due to start within weeks. The neighbours also informed us that they have a right of way leading around our cottage, we were also never informed of prior to moving in. This was upsetting for us as a family because we put our trust in Mark David Estate Agents and have since found out that this was common knowledge between them and the neighbours.
Within weeks we had drilling through the day, dust everywhere, forced to park the car on the road due to skips being parked on the drive and people walking freely around the house. My breastfeeding partner was (more than once) witness to builders looking through the back window as she fed our 6 month old daughter.
We tried with Sue (Mark David employee) to communicate our upset, this was to no avail, on one occasion when mentioning the builders looking into the house, Sue responded with "surely you can close the blind".
Please make sure that if you use this company you are made aware of everything prior to moving in, do not get caught out like we did, because if you do, you'll be dismissed and ostracised.
