DO NOT USE MARTIN AND CO LOUGHTON - extremely unprofessional/embarrassment to the industry!
If you value your property use someone another agent.
My property has been left in a disgusting state and to make matters worse Martin and Co lied about the damage done. They inspected the property several times over the year - each report stated that the tenant was looking after it and it was in an immaculate condition. According to the property manager the tenant was very 'house proud.' The Director and the property manager failed to notice/ignored the damage done to the upstairs carpet, the walls which had been drilled in several places, the massive crack in the sink and the smoke stains everywhere.
To add insult to injury, not only had they not advised me that the tenant was abusing the property they went on to say that the property was in perfect condition at the end of the tenancy. When I reported the damage and tried to claim for the damage done, Martin and Co LIED and said there was no damage. I understand why they lied as they were clearly trying to cover up for their negligence in 'managing' my property.
Furthermore, they do not understand how a Section 21 notice works - it is a 2 month notice given to the tenant. I asked Marin and Co to issue it on a certain date - they ignored this. They gave the tenant 3 months notice and then said she could leave whenever she likes! One of their many excuses, was that it takes time for a notice to be delivered - one month?!!! I am disgusted at the service I received and I will never rent my property again.
Martin and Co Loughton are extremely unprofessional and an embarrassment to the industry.

The staff are excellent and know what they are doing. We had a difficult landlord and they dealt with him and all his shenanigans. We primarily dealt with Gary and were very impressed! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Didn't even have the chance to view the property as agreed as someone else had made an offer on it. Upset with the fact they did not inform me there were other viewers as they gave the impression I would be the first to view the property. Not good service.
